I just wish NBC could cram a few more commercials into that hour. I'm getting spoiled watching those uninterrupted three-minute blocks.
I watch 24 at 9PM then heroes DVRed at 10PM, no commericals here
My DVR is weird. It changes which show I get to watch live depending on whim I think. I haven't found a pattern yet. It was 24 tonight, so Heroes was commercialless for me as well.As for tonights, one of the best hours of TV I've watched in a while. Easily the best episode of Heroes so far. But a big part of that was the lack of B-stories. Just the Lost-style narrative: Main Story interweaved with flashbacks. They have a very interesting ensemble cast, but the various storylines' power get dimmed when they are so many as there has been, especially as they have generally been, at least on the surface, unrelated.
As for notes on tonights, might the Haitian be answering to Linderman? Linderman has so far been pretty an ruthless mobster off camera, but having an extremely blurry good/evil line has been a recurring theme of the show so far. Having Linderman as a force to protect the mutants/Heroes would fit well. But I'm guessing he will be far more in the Magneto philosophical line than Xavier, especially if he has power himself.
I did like Hiro's father making an appearance. It completely justified the seemingly useless B-story Hiro had. And I noted the Haitian had the medallion already in the flashback.
As for next weeks previews, the evil picture of Simone has to be remembered
Link to remind. I agree that a flashback/dream is very possible for it, but her being alive is more likely to me. She has a connection to Linderman, and might have been assigned to watch Isaac for Linderman in the same way that Eden was watching the Suresh's. The arguement against that is Peter would have manifested whatever power she has, but he might not have known he had it, so who knows at this point.
