did they tell how Peter got his scar?
Nope - I assume from the explosion.did they tell how Peter got his scar?
I might be wrong, but I think "save the world" could be more about stopping sylar rather then stopping the explosion. So, no one told past Hiro or Ando that Peter was the bomb, right?I don't see how they're gonna stop it then.
Huh?Future Hiro said it, and he wants to stop the explosion. I thought that was crystal clear.I might be wrong, but I think "save the world" could be more about stopping sylar rather then stopping the explosion. So, no one told past Hiro or Ando that Peter was the bomb, right?I don't see how they're gonna stop it then.
Yes - Hiro wants to stop the explosion. We dont know what causes the explosion - whether its Peter or Sylar. Im under the impression that whether its Peter or Sylar, its due to some fight or conflict between the two of them. I assume that if Sylar is stopped, the explosion doesnt happen as a consequence.Again - just my impression of how the show is playing out.Huh?Future Hiro said it, and he wants to stop the explosion. I think we need to see a new interpretation of being the bomb. If Peter literally blew up the way it's been pictured, how would he be there in the future? Even his regenerative powers have limits; if a piece of glass in the brain stops him, how is he affected by having his brains blown all over the east coast (are we to believe he somehow regenerated after that except that the scar wouldn't heal)? Is it possible that in the original time line Peter triggers the explosion while dueling with Sylar (maybe he and the nuclear caveman together somehow reach critical mass)? If Hiro kills Sylar, Peter never gets to that point. If Peter's motivation in helping Hiro is to prevent the explosion, and he knows killing Sylar won't do it, wouldn't he have told Hiro? So, no one told past Hiro or Ando that Peter was the bomb, right?I don't see how they're gonna stop it then.
Or perhaps future Peter never met Claire since he never went to save the cheerleader and therefore he doesn't have her powers. So the scar could be from just about anything.Nope - I assume from the explosion.did they tell how Peter got his scar?
Caveman Ted doesn't get radiation sickness, he is immune. I imagine that the person who goes nuculear is immune to it.I think we need to see a new interpretation of being the bomb. It is clear that Peter saved Clair in both timelines.Or perhaps future Peter never met Claire since he never went to save the cheerleader and therefore he doesn't have her powers. So the scar could be from just about anything.Nope - I assume from the explosion.did they tell how Peter got his scar?
It's one thing to be immune to radiation sickness. It's another to be immune from an explosion big enough to level New York.Caveman Ted doesn't get radiation sickness, he is immune. I don't say this lightly....But, that had to be one of the BEST hours of television I have seen in a LONG TIME. It made me really appreciate how good some of the actors are in this show.
Its coming out of him though. Its not like he's getting hit with the shock wave, he IS the eye of the storm literally. It's one thing to be immune to radiation sickness. what happens to a nuclear bomb when it goes off? Does it stay intact too being the eye of the storm? Isnt this crystal clear? Its coming out of him though. Dude, you're trying to make sense of superpowers that have never been clearly defined. There are many different explanations for why Peter, Sylar, or Ted all could survive the explosion.what happens to a nuclear bomb when it goes off? Does it stay intact too being the eye of the storm? My take is that timeline is the current timeline continued on it's course. Remember Isaac paints Peter exploding and saving Claire, so I think it's just that timeline playing out. The trick is how to kill Sylar, but the plot twist can very easily be that Peter must die and not Sylar. If Peter saved Claire in both timelines then why did Future Hiro have to go back in time to tell Peter to save her?It is clear that Peter saved Clair in both timelines.Or perhaps future Peter never met Claire since he never went to save the cheerleader and therefore he doesn't have her powers. How come Peter or Ted's hands don't melt then???They're immune to their own power. The force that emenated from them did not destroy them.Stop thinking of it like a nuculear bomb. Its a person radiating a large ammount of energy. The sun doesn't explode just because it gives off radiation.what happens to a nuclear bomb when it goes off? Does it stay intact too being the eye of the storm? Isnt this crystal clear? Its coming out of him though. It's all one timeline. Peter saves Claire AND explodes in the same timeline according to Isaacs paintings. Which according to Plot synopsis is how this will play out to the end as this point. That timeline doesn't exist anymore. Hiro changed the past, and thats why Claire was still alive in the future. Yes, but when Future Hiro first came back and saw Peter he said he barely recognized him without the scar. The timeline hadn't changed yet so future Peter had the scar before he met Claire and got her powers. This is giving me a headache...That timeline doesn't exist anymore. Hiro changed the past, and thats why Claire was still alive in the future. Right. The reason Future Hiro (from timeline 1) wanted to stop Sylar from being able to regenerate was so that Sylar would die BEFORE he exploded. Not so Sylar would/wouldn't survive exploding. Make sense?Dude, you're trying to make sense of superpowers that have never been clearly defined. There are many different explanations for why Peter, Sylar, or Ted all could survive the explosion.
Future Hiro didn't know that she was alive.I agree that Peter was/is the bomb the whole time, no matter what timeline. If Hiro can kill Sylar, then Peter doesn't go nuclear in a battle between the 2.Awesome freakin' episode. How do they kill off Jessica and not Nikki?Cool that Sylar was Nathan. Nice twist. I'm kinda surprised that the Haitian was going along with "Homeland Security" and was willing to kill Hiro.If Peter saved Claire in both timelines then why did Future Hiro have to go back in time to tell Peter to save her?It is clear that Peter saved Clair in both timelines.Or perhaps future Peter never met Claire since he never went to save the cheerleader and therefore he doesn't have her powers. Actually, it's still the same time line. If Future Hiro goes back and prevents an event from happening that changes the future then Future Hiro wouldn't exist any longer, unless you get into Parallel Universe scenarios. The fact that Claire is alive and Future Hiro exist mean that time line wasn't altered.Right.
I see the timelines as fluid and merging at a number of points. Originally Sylar did kill her and was able to heal himself. Hiro had Peter save Claire so that doesn't happen, and she shows up in the future (unknown to Hiro because she's hiding), but the explosion still occurred (as far as Future Hiro is concerned) because the timeline flowed some other direction and hasn't reached the point where past Hiro can kill Sylar and/or otherwise prevent it. Future Hiro seemingly can't go back and change something that happened (just like he couldn't go back and save the waitress). All he can do is influence others (including his past self) to change events that "will happen" and wait for the changes to ripple through time.If Peter saved Claire in both timelines then why did Future Hiro have to go back in time to tell Peter to save her?It is clear that Peter saved Clair in both timelines.Or perhaps future Peter never met Claire since he never went to save the cheerleader and therefore he doesn't have her powers. Can you link to it please?Anyone read the latest chapter of the Novel online? Pretty interesting. I would like to know who those three characters are on the last panel.

I think that they just made up some characters to show how divided the "special" people are in the future. We will never see them again.Anyone read the latest chapter of the Novel online? Pretty interesting. I would like to know who those three characters are on the last panel.

No it wasn't. If it was truly altered then the events that Future Hiro experienced wouldn't have happened. The major events have still occurred so the Time Line is still continuous. If they prevent the explosion from happening then the time line becomes altered and the future characters we saw will not exist. The timeline was altered, future Hiro had no memory of past Hiro travelling to the future.Actually, it's still the same time line. I guess I am just defining as altering meaning changing the course of events ie the explosion. That is a critical event and as long as it still occurs then the time line truly isn't altered at least IMO.or they would be the same, just with altered memories of us the past events, as they get alteredNo it wasn't. Correct, the bomb obviously still happened. However, there have been at least some minor changes in the timeline. I believe there may have been a couple major changes as well....but I'm not certain.I guess I am just defining as altering meaning changing the course of events ie the explosion. thats my point - we dont know what will happen. Im not trying to define anything. Hulk is trying to say they are immune if they are the bomb. We know ted was immune from radiation sickness, but we dont know if he would immune from being blown to bits if he was the bomb. We know peter appears to have recovered due to his regeneration, but we cant assume him or Sylar or Ted wouldnt be blown to bits in the first place.Dude, you're trying to make sense of superpowers that have never been clearly defined. The better question is why does Peter still have the scar after he saved Claire and absorbed her powers? In the original timeline he wouldn't have come into contact with Claire before Sylar took her power, so the scar makes sense. Once he has the regeneration power, he should have healed immediately after whatever caused it.Doesn't the scar look a little like a sword cut? Maybe when Hiro faces Sylar he morphs into Peter and now Hiro can't differentiate between the two and inadvertently hits Peter first? The better question is why does Peter still have the scar after he saved Claire and absorbed her powers?
