The president’s pardon authority is spelled out in Article II, Section 2, Clause 1, which states: “The President shall…have power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”

So this brings up a lot of interesting questions:

1.  What are the options is HRC is indicted after the election but before the electors meet in December?  Can the DNC replace her?  What are the responsibilities of the electors here?

2. What are the options is HRC is indicted after the election, after the electors meet in December, but before she gets sworn in?  I would guess she gets sworn in and impeachment proceedings immediately commence?

Of course, some are arguing that O should just pardon her as soon as she gets elected.  Wash our hands and just swallow what's been foisted on us.

I'd like to say that at the end of the day we rely on the FBI's recommendations like we did in July. If there's no 'there' there then no problem, but if the FBI does eventually recommend indictment let's trust their judgement as well.

There are a number of flaws or misconceptions in your post:

1. John Podesta did not "have" a Spirit Cooking party.
2. there's no proof at this point that John Podesta attended a Spirit Cooking party.
3. there's no proof at this point that the Spirit Cooking party -- if it took place, if Podesta attended -- featured any discussion or behavior that could be considered objectionable by average Americans.

Look, you're free to make conclusions based solely on connecting dots that aren't all there.

But you're not going to convince anyone who isn't already a Trump voter.

Also, you should seriously ask yourself why you spend so much time on this website if you consider "most" of the people to be odd.
