And you're right I'm not a "true" Democrat, I'm a centrist and probably always will be. The Democratic Party is going to dominate American politics for decades to come, and the battle is going to be between pro-business types like me and more progressive types like you, and as I wrote NC Commish the other day, your side is going to win in the long run. Simply put there are far more of you than there are of me. I accept that. The only reason Hillary won this time is because black people knew her and thought it was her time, NOT because they agreed with her on the issues over Sanders. 

BTW I do hate war. Corruption is less important to me if the job gets done (though I don't like it.) But war is very bad.

1) If some people like Alex Jones/Infowars spent a tenth of the time they do on conspiracy theories on something like medicine, they might have discovered a cure for cancer for by now, possibly a more constructive use of their time.

2) Lot of magical thinking going on (not the ritualistic kind), some are having difficulty separating what they WANT to happen from what is likely to happen. #SpiritCooking has dropped to #3 in the past hour, after #cubsparade and Bridgegate (but just ahead of the diabolical, nefarious, sinister, ominous sounding FridayFeeling and NationalCandyDay). This story is going to die (don't forget, the Illuminati control Google). It probably won't be trending by tomorrow. Monday is an eternity away in this surreal election temporal anomaly.

3) Can Russian bots drive Twitter traffic and therefore trends? If so, the latest meme comes across as an extreme act of desperation. In a day or two, Huma will have been in a threesome with Big Foot (not Jerome "Big Foot' Brailey, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee with 15 other members of P-Funk) and the Loch Ness Monster.

* The latest news may blow up the election for reals - there is increasing chatter in the intelligence community that Putin sponsored hacker Fancy Bear is going to drop a bomb later today that Bill Clinton once listened to Sympathy For The Devil by the Rolling Stones (the gateway song to Black Masses and human sacrifices)!

Eh, who has time to discuss FBI agents leaking false information about a nonexistent investigation in an attempt to sway a presidential election, and the media irresponsibly reporting on that nonexistent investigation?  We have hacked emails about dinners with performance artists to discuss.  Priorities!

He just said he apologized about the indictments coming.  It's still kind of a big deal that all those FbI offices are looking into the Clinton Family Crime Syndicate.

It's really striking.  One of the legs of Hillary will be IMPEACHED!!!!!!!!!111111111 is swiped out from them and nary a response.  Why am I not surprised.

No, they're not.  There is no investigation.  Here is Pete Williams, the most well-connected reporter on the Justice Department, a man is universally respected, on the issue:

The real problem is a couple rogue pro-Trump FBI agents attempting to influence an election.  That's kind of a big deal.  Law enforcement attempting to undermine elections is the sort of thing that happens in fascist regimes.  Much like politicians promising to jail their political opponents.

My very first post in this thread and I am proud to say that I voted for Hillary yesterday for President.  I don't love her, but she's far and away the more qualified of the two.  She is certainly more intelligent than most.  Graduating from Wellesley College ain't easy and she did it on her own merits.  The haters who hate her because she lies?  Give me a break.  ALL POLITICIANS LIE.  They have to.  The best poker players in the world lie every time they play, only we call it 'bluffing'.  It's a skill employed by the best politicians.  Every single one of our presidents has been forced to tell a lie at some point; it's part of world diplomacy and I'd rather they be good at it.  You know who isn't good at lying?  The Orange Droolius. 

Proud voter of Hillary.  Let's win this, babe.

 
Well, Clinton sure lost the "people who actually believe there are witches worshiping satan and they need to be burned" vote today.  Real nail biter election after that loss.

They confirm that there is an active investigation into the Clinton Foundation that has been going on for more than a year. It is continuing. For those investigators working it is a priority but we have also reported there is a split not only between the FBI and the Department of Justice on this, but within the FBI.

They are all true, but you should understand a few caveats. 

  1. Attacks as shown are incredibly common. Think of the visualization as a view of the Internet's immune system.
  2. Even with honeypots and sensors you can only detect what you can anticipate. There are plenty of attacks that fly under the radar.
  3. These reports are not statistically relevant to targeted (or even state sponsored) attacks. They are almost entirely automated originating from less elite adversaries.

But I suppose if fascism is your thing, disseminating false information about politicians you don't like would be right up your alley too.  Worst of luck on your continuing efforts to mislead people in a quest to get an unstable Putin puppet elected president.

So Pete Williams says so it must be true?  How much proof do we need that the media is in bed with the Clinton Family Crime Syndicate?  This is the same guy that was immediately calling for Comet to step down.  He has an agenda.  NBC & CNN are like linking to the onion at this point.

Off topic, but this is not true at all.

When a poker player bluffs, what he says is something like "I raise to $400." That is in no way a lie. His statement is true. He really is raising.

If other people erroneously interpret the raise to mean that he has a strong hand, that's their own fault. That's not what he's implying. He's implying only that he has a hand that is within the range that he'll raise with in that situation. Such a range will almost always contain some strong hands and some weak hands. The fact that his hand happens to be weak on this particular occasion does not make his raise a lie.
