this is interesting seeing as how things kinda went down this way on Tuesday

in north Hudson County , N.J. (which is heavily Hispanic) ballots had Hilary's name highlighted in yellow, while Mr.Sanders name was whited out. now, they got to vote, sure ...couldn't vote for anyone but Hilary. but they

cute, no?

saw a couple reports on this locally here, and the great majority of those who complained/felt duped were folks who only spoke Spanish.

that county is one of the most politically corrupt  areas of the country, and it sure seems like the machine democrats up there played those voters for the fool

No and also inaccurate. These were not actual ballots at the polling place, just fake ballots left of people's doors:

Fake ballots with Sanders’ name scratched out distributed in Hudson County

NORTH BERGEN - Some Hudson County voters say that fake voting ballots with Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders’ name scratched out were left on their doors yesterday.

W was so unpopular in 2008 he didn't even show up at the ####### convention! Bill Clinton was popular in 2000, despite Lewinsky, but Gore didn't want his help. I think Hillary does want Obama's help. Like nobody since George H W Bush, she has wedded herself to Obama/ she's basically campaigning for a 3rd term.
Hillary - our second third term President. Wonder how Bill feels about that!

So let's see: the debate here seems to be between those who believe that Obama is part of Hillary's corruption, and those who believe that Obama is innocent and that Hillary will be indicted anyhow.

The notion that there will be no indictment, not for any corrupt reason, but because Hillary Clinton is innocent potentially not guilty, is apparently not worth any consideration.

why do we even give a #### whether hillary deleted some emails or whatever?  i'd rather have guilty hillary (guiltary?) in there than the unpredictable, potentially unstable, racist, orange guy who could start WW3 at any moment with his stupid antics and comments.
This is the hysterical response of a little girl.

Hillary's actions in the Middle East have proven that she is very capable of bringing on "WW3".

Trump may be an unknown, but Hillary is a proven idiot when it comes to foreign policy.

doubtful.  hillary's a typical politician.  We'll have 4 years of the status quo where nothing really changes for the average joe, and in 4 or 8 years, maybe someone sensible on either the dem or repub side can emerge.

duly noted, but still shady as all ####### hell, considering it was predominantly  Spanish speaking residents.

report I saw led me to believe it was actually ballots, though ... my bad on that, folks

Nothing formal, but Washington is a company town.  I'm sure there's been a back channel update.
I'm as cynical as the next guy and you might be right.  But, it seems to me the FBI would be as good a place as any to create an effective firewall such that those that shouldn't know stuff won't know stuff.  This isn't their first rodeo.

Please elaborate on the "Hillary is capable of starting WW3" by doing some thing in the Middle East.

I'm not interested in your basis for that idea. I'm interested in a sequence of events that will lead to "WW3"

By "WW3" I take it you are referring to an all out nuclear war. If not that, choose another sobriquet, please

Just like all Federal jobs, the higher you go the more politics plays a part.

Hard to say, but STEP 1 may involve something like having highly classified documents stored on a private server that is easily accessible to foreign hackers.

Of course Hillary would never do that.

I wasn't aware I was addressing you.

How about saying you want to nuke ISIS? Would that not be a more direct path to a nuclear conflagration? Because the small fingered orange dude apparently wants to do that, not Hillary

Just noticed that Obama must be channeling Tim, who said almost the same exact thing a few days back.  :hophead:

President Obama endorses Hillary: "I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office."

Sounds like Obama has been talking to his friend hyper Bo Lee.

"ignoring the data" suggests that this election cycle is like any other.  It isn't and the results have shown such, so I'm not sure why he's trying to track this like he would any other election.  I sure as hell wouldn't get bent out of shape if I was wrong in this case.  WTF knows what is going on here.  Little of it has made sense.  Sounds like he needs to take a little break too.
No, Nate is fine. He's simply calling out the obvious, which is that some folks are ignoring the data. As I've argued for years, most of the time that is conservatives, but liberals aren't immune.  Sanders supporters have proven that quite a bit this cycle, and Nate is poking fun at them. As he should.

Whoever is advising Hillary on her wardrobe should be indicted...that is unless focus groups have indicated that dressing like Dr. Evil is a winning formula...

Regarding VP candidates, I think Hillary needs to find a well-regarded white dude with a ton of charisma.  Someone with those characteristics would address her major weaknesses.

Sanders fits the bill perfectly here, but he won't do it.  Any other ideas?

(Apologies if this has been discussed before... I haven't been following the thread closely).

Also, I think the Obama endorsement will be helpful.  She needs likable surrogates who have the penache to go after Trump.  I wouldn't mind seeing a Hollywood coalition of Will Ferrell and George Clooney types to give Hills a bigger cool factor.  People vote based on personality and charisma, and she needs major help in those departments.

When's the last time a sitting President vigorously campaigned for his successor? I can't remember one who did.
That's a little misleading since it's only possible after a two-term President and there are some unique circumstances around each of them.

Obviously Ford wasn't going to have Nixon stump for him.

Reagan was in no shape to campaign hard for anyone in 1988.

Gore made a conscious decision to downplay Clinton.

Bush and McCain always had a prickly relationship and Bush was toxic by 2004.

Obama and Clinton seem to like each other, are ideologically compatible, and Obama's #s are solid enough to help where he's needed.

Actually, looking at the list, maybe you're right -- and having a two termer leave office as a campaign asset is the exception to the norm and those circumstances are more par for the course than unique.

How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?
I like how he thinks he's zinging her by pointing out that she has more staffers than he does.

Let me guess....you just jumped in and commented without reading anything previous?

The Clinton anti-Trump ads are so much more damaging than what the Reps pulled together during the primaries.  They're firing them early and often down here in Florida.

He mocks people with disabilities

Does Donald speak for you?
This is the thing: Trump and the GOP have no advertising campaign. This will all go unanswered.  I'm not exaggerating. Maybe some GOP ads will appear at some point.... but the party and donor structure is largely not in play here and the Trump campaign isn't doing jacksquat.

Can't believe Hillary thought it was a good idea to use the word "deleted" in a tweet to Trump. Talk about puttin the ball on a tee.

Delete your account.

Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!

March 2015 - Hillary Campaign Slogan No. 1: "The 4 Fights!"

June 2016 - Hillary Campaign Slogan No. 182:  "U Mad Bro?"
Seriously....it won't end well if she continues down this path.

There's no way they came up with the "delete your account" idea without appreciating the subtext re: her deleted emails.

It's infuriating because I read the tone to be identical to the "like with a cloth?" answer at the press conference when the server story first starting gaining traction - both are examples of her hubris and inability to grasp the legitimacy of the concerns/ her supreme confidence that she won't be held accountable.  FU GOP for making me vote for her.

Crazy thing is it probably took a dozen people to focus group, write, consult and edit that tweet. At least Donald fires his tweets off to "his girls" in the "bullpen" ad hoc while enjoying his mid day manicure. Hillary really has no excuse.

I'm guessing Donald didn't even respond to that, he probably just let it sit there like a flat 'jerk store' comeback.

But for the record, yeah I agree.

On the one hand I know Hillary has like 50 social media experts and consultants working on this. On the other hand she should beware the Rubio effect where the serious minded, policy grounded politician crawls down to Trump's level.
Meh. It wasn't crawling down to Trump's level, it was mocking both him and email scandal at the same time. Right now #DeleteYourAccount is top trending hashtag on Twitter and has been so for over an hour. https://twitter.com/hashtag/DeleteYourAccount?src=tren  And I don't care who thought it up, it was brilliant.

I'm willing to sign off on the pledge to be cool if and when the DOJ announces no indictment but the idea that Lynch, Jarrett and Obama all agree to an indictment at this point is crazy. If Hillary is *not interviewed by the Fbi I will call fix. If Hillary is interviewed and not indicted I'll withstand the arrows sure to be slung, but it's hard to imagine the evidence that would suffice Obama pulling the rug out from underneath the nominee he has personally endorsed and stood up for two times before. Not gonna happen. It will take a bombshell to blow her up at this point.

Warren: "Trump is a thin skinned racist bully." She is just destroying him. It's brutal.
That's like saying Trump is "destroying" Hillary every time he calls her crooked.
