Warren: "Trump is a thin skinned racist bully." She is just destroying him. It's brutal.
Not sure how that plays, red meat for the faithful, maybe creates sympathy or suspicion with the skeptical. - Trump's got much bigger problems, he's getting hammered in the press, his party and in the courts.

But what's "brutal" about it? She's just parroting phrases that have already been said by dozens of people before her. She's not offering anything new, nor is she offering anything of substance. She's just yelling "RACIST" and "BULLY!!"

NEw here?  this is Tim we are talking about

That's the odd part.  Usually, even same party, people will like the candidate more than a 2-term prez.
Agreed....there's no "usual" here.  It's going to be depressing either way we go.  I guess the good part for Obama is history will be very favorable for him given who's following in his footsteps.  Something tells me his blunders are going to look like child's play.

How many people care a lick about gender in 2016? A few feminists who consider femaleness a positive, and a few religious fundamentalists who think that women are unfit to lead and weren't going to vote for Hillary regardless of her VP choice. Choosing Warren as VP would do nothing to hurt Clinton's chances of being elected President.
I think that's a sound progressive SoCal type mentality. You show no awareness of other folks and their feelings anywhere East of the Rockies and maybe West of the Mississippi but go on believing that everyone in the World thinks like you do.

Yeah, I'm a lone opinion on this. I'm sure this speech will have no legs whatsoever.
Whether the speech has legs or not is irrelevant. I am curious to see if we look back on this day as the turning point for Hillary, where the momentum started rolling in her direction for a change. We got the Obama endorsement, the #DeleteYourAccount posting, which was a drop the mic moment for Hillary, both against Trump and her email critics. And for the trifecta, the blistering Warren speech, which hopefully should goad Trump into a "Pocahontas" meltdown reaction, along with establishing Warren as perhaps the most articulate attack dog the Democrats could come up with against him.

And just like that within an hour of the Obama endorsement -- White House acknowledges for the first time that the FBI probe is criminal, and WSJ reports that details of pending drone strikes were sent to her server.

Ride that momentum.

In light of very damning facts, I wish she'd have deleted her illegal account.

I thought Warren's speech was great but it illustrated what her and Sanders will do going forward. They're going to be anti-Trump, not pro-Clinton. They'll "endorse" her by attacking her opponent. Everyone knows Warren, like Bernie, has little in common with HRC and knows the second she takes the oath whatever promises she's made to the progressive wing of the party will disappear like farts in the wind. They sit tight for now and in 8 years they champion a true progressive (my guess is it's Newsom) to take the country toward the vision imagined by Bernie.

No way dude. Obama met with the head of the don prior to the endorsement. I have it on good authority that these are accurate transcripts.

BHO - You aint gonna let me endorse my girl and then arrest her and make me look bad.

DOJ - No Sir we got rid of all of the evidence just like you asked.

BHO - LOL Some one get that dirty hippy in here so I can tell him to pound sand.

Warren will be pro-Hillary once The Bernster drops out .

Which has always been Rodham Clintons problem, besides the racketeering, is that she doesn't have a clear message and doesn't stand for anything in particular except coal miners of course. Being anti Trump is not enough.

Jon Stewart said it best: "I imagine she's a bright woman without the courage of her convictions because I'm not even sure what they are."

This is already wrong. Warren has just spent the last 5 minutes on Maddows show praising Hillary.

What's she gonna say?  "Oh, well, she's OK I guess.  I mean we don't see eye to eye on a lot but she's not completely horrible."
She went on and on. Her praise was very lavish. Seems heartfelt.

When are you going to realize that a lot of the country really admires this woman and doesn't see her in the negative way that you do? Hillary Clinton is a good person, whip smart, more qualified than nearly any other candidate in history, and she will make an excellent President. She has been a tremendous public servant because sh cares about all of us.

What changed between the time Warren slammed Clinton for flip-flipping on the bankruptcy bill and now other than the fact HRC and Trump are the nominees? Did Maddow ask Warren that question? or did the interview go like I imagine it did with Maddow kissing Warren's ### for 2 segments while sprinkling in some Trump bashing?

Not just his footsteps, but who proceeded him too.

It's really offensive when someone says she is the most qualified person in history to run for president. I mean,it's borderline clinical insanity to say it and shows both a ridiculous narcissism for current politics and an ignorance of american history that I would expect from an,Internet message board but not a Constitutional law professor who happens to actually sit in the office the comment is about.

Whooff - Hillary's emails discussed ***planned drone strikes?

http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0YV2P3
All out war.  Obama decided to put every bit of pressure on the DOJ to obstruct.  Meanwhile, the "most transparent administration in history" refused to release details on a dozen Guantanemo inmates that were released and killed Americans in Afghanistan--citing some bull####.

The contempt for the American people is off the charts.

Obama's no idiot. He knows how to win an election. You say stuff like that and the Tims of the world lap it up. They just hear the words and that's all they need.

Both of the facts I detailed are true.  How the #### pending drone strikes can be discussed on a private server and no charges!!

And your fearless liar's claims that this was just discussions of published articles turns out to be -- this will shock you --- utter lies.
