And you guys call Hillary the liar.He said that she could not recognize classified information marked or unmarked. That's pretty much incompetence for a SOS.

It was even better than that. Every day for about six prior to the Iowa primary, Sinn Fein would post in this thread that Hillary is not likable, nobody likes her, not even Democrats and that she couldn't win the nomination.Says the poster that repeatedly posted "Bernie's path to the nomination".
2 out of 3 ain't bad. So he was wrong on the nomination piece. Who cares? She's still a POS.It was even better than that. 1 out of 3 at best and you won't have that if she wins the general election. She beat Sanders by over 3 million votes in the primaries. Couldn't be done if Democrats didn't like her, they wouldn't have overwhelming chosen her over cuddly and likable Uncle Bernie.2 out of 3 ain't bad. So he was wrong on the nomination piece. She just drank it all in really, mind sharp as a tack. And you guys call Hillary the liar.He said that she could not recognize classified information marked or unmarked. That's pretty much incompetence for a SOS.
So, let me get this straight. You think that 0% of people agree with the FBI's decision but are still critical of Clinton? That seems amazing to me because I believe that is the most reasonable stance. The other 44% believe she can do nothing wrong (probably a similar number for Trump supporters)
This is very similar to my line of thought, with one exception. I'm check mated. Trump really is that bad and I have to pull the Not Trump lever most likely to lead to his ouster. I hate that it's come to this.FWIW, I've decided over the past week I can't vote for Hillary. No matter how awful Trump is, I'm only rewarding Hillary's behavior and the smugness of the DNC by giving her a vote, and I think rewarding that behavior has worse long term consequences than the damage Trump would cause over 4 years.
I'm voting Johnson. Haven't felt this good all election season.
You don't get it and never will. Grandma Nixon was installed after she and Bill stacked the DNC and did back room deals for the big money and super delegates. Bernie was the equivalent of running uncontested and he came within striking distance, even amongst voting shenanigans and Hillary further stacking the DOJ to hide facts about her email. That's because people really just -- don't like her.1 out of 3 at best and you won't have that if she wins the general election. She beat Sanders by over 3 million votes in the primaries. Yep. Perfectly said. Clinton had to do all the shady deals because she probably knew she was reviled from within the Democratic Party as well by anyone outside the Party. When most everyone hate's your f'n guts, you need to stack the deck. You don't get it and never will. Like I said earlier, I haven't voted in years... but I will probably vote for Johnson this year.FWIW, I've decided over the past week I can't vote for Hillary. This is where I am, except that I know I won't be proved wrong about Hillary. Everything she's ever done in public life -- a quarter-century -- has been one confirmation after another that she really shouldn't hold any sort of office. But hey, she's better than Trump, so what are you going to do.Under no circumstance am I voting for Hillary but I'm resigned to her being our next President. I will wish her well and hope I'm proved wrong about her because I'm an American first and foremost and I support this country and the office of the President.
Stopped reading there. You don't get it and never will. Grandma Nixon
She is probably better than Trump, which means she might be able to get things done - I sometines would rather have someone who can't get things doneThis is where I am, except that I know I won't be proved wrong about Hillary. Al least you are voting.Like I said earlier, I haven't voted in years... but I will probably vote for Johnson this year.
Hillary won't be able to get much done if she inherits a Republican house (hopefully). She is probably better than Trump, which means she might be able to get things done - I sometines would rather have someone who can't get things done
I don't think he will have a friendly legislature. The Democrats hate him and the Republicans hate him almost as much.Hillary won't be able to get much done if she inherits a Republican house (hopefully).
My worry with Trump is the stuff he can get done. Either with a friendly legislature or unilaterally.
You don't want to see her get her infrastructure spending bill done? Or an immigration reform deal?Hillary won't be able to get much done if she inherits a Republican house (hopefully).
What if he decides to push the button? That's not a silly, outlandish question for this guy. I seriously think he's nuts.I don't think he will have a friendly legislature. The Democrats hate him and the Republicans hate him almost as much.
An infrastructure bill done or her infrastructure bill? You don't want to see her get her infrastructure spending bill done? Or an immigration reform deal?
Nah - he likes PutinWhat if he decides to push the button? That's not a silly, outlandish question for this guy. I seriously think he's nuts.
Hillary will be the Queen of the Executive Order. She won't let a silly little thing like congress get in her way.Hillary won't be able to get much done if she inherits a Republican house (hopefully).

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. I meant that hopefully the GOP will hold the house, not that hopefully Hillary will face a hostile legislature. Of course I would want Hillary to succeed on the issues where I agree with her. like immigration. You don't want to see her get her infrastructure spending bill done? Or an immigration reform deal?
Streamline the damn process. Laws we have aren't being enforced, why would I expect new ones to be enforced? You don't want to see her get her infrastructure spending bill done? Or an immigration reform deal?
That's the funny thing with Hillary - the absolute certainty of what you're getting. Usually I enjoy being right, but with her it just sort of makes me sick, watching everyone happily board the great big inevitable horrific train wreck of a presidency. This is where I am, except that I know I won't be proved wrong about Hillary. It's like watching that guy who leapt off the World Trade Center on 9-11. You just know it isn't going to end well....That's the funny thing with Hillary - the absolute certainty of what you're getting. Can you give me some high level details on what you see happening? I only ask b/c my dad said the same thing about the Obama election especially the one in 2012 and I think its been pretty darn good for me.That's the funny thing with Hillary - the absolute certainty of what you're getting. Bueno, based on your stated views on this issue I don't expect you would support any immigration reform that included a path to citizenship for illegals. However, as you know, I do- my question was meant for IvanK who also supports this.Streamline the damn process. Laws we have aren't being enforced, why would I expect new ones to be enforced?
The first husband-wife combination to be impeached! So Republicans just can't help themselves, again. Calling for a Justice Department probe into whether Clinton lied to Congress -- nevermind that we already know she did not.
So we'll either have the DOJ/FBI refusing to investigate a known non-crime (as would be correct) complete with more howling at the moon from Republicans and Hillary haters, or we'll have an investigation that exonerates her, again.
Will the 10th (12th?, 15th?) exoneration be enough? Of course not. They'll just keep going.
It won't turn the election, since she's already winning, but I'd expect to see her poll numbers rising throughout this next one -- so obvious is the overreach. Not to Bill-like levels since she's nowhere near the politician he is and isn't as generally sympathetic, but some.
Well you didn't pay attention did you? You forget how long it took my son's ex-wife to enter the country legally?Bueno, based on your stated views on this issue I don't expect you would support any immigration reform that included a path to citizenship for illegals. However, as you know, I do- my question was meant for IvanK who also supports this.
I'm sorry. I don't remember reading that. And if I misrepresented your views on this issue I apologize. What are they please?Well you didn't pay attention did you? You forget how long it took my son's ex-wife to enter the country legally?
I don't think people here illegally should be able to go to the front of the line, but they should have every chance to become a citizen as anyone else immigrating. Something needs to be done about the three laws they would have broken to come here illegally and get a job though. As far as I am concerned, if you don't have a felony criminal record, and aren't the next Typhoid Mary, the door can be opened for you. But taking 1 months to get temporary visa is ridiculous!I'm sorry. I don't remember reading that. And if I misrepresented your views on this issue I apologize. What are they please?
Civil and respectful like always Tim. You're a class act.I'm sorry. I don't remember reading that. And if I misrepresented your views on this issue I apologize. What are they please?
I'll never understand that. I sort of got it in 08 when everyone was projecting all kinds of failure on Obama. I didn't agree with it, but I got it. But in 12? America didn't crumble with Obama's first term so all the doomsayers didn't make any sense. Obama now had a track record and it wasn't exactly a liberal's wet dream. Can you give me some high level details on what you see happening? I only ask b/c my dad said the same thing about the Obama election especially the one in 2012 and I think its been pretty darn good for me.
Is the referral about lying to Congress or lying to the FBI?Calling for a Justice Department probe into whether Clinton lied to Congress...
Ok, but what does that mean in terms of where she's going to take us compared to where we are now? The government is a dysfunctional mess, but I'm honestly fine with what we've had for the past 8 years.I'll never understand that.
But I'm sort of doing the opposite of your dad in 12 - I AM looking at the track record. Time and time again Hillary has proven she puts her own self interests first, and then hides it and then quite clearly lies about it. And when she's caught in the lie she simply adjusts her lies. And when her opponents overreach, she lets that takes focus instead of her wrongdoing. She's now the victim. Rinse. Repeat. I think that's how her presidency will go. The mother of all clusters.
No, I think it was to congress. The FBI would be in its province without referral to charge someone that lied to them. I think it was her testimony before congress. Hate Hillary as much or more than the next guy, but I don't think they have a case.Is the referral about lying to Congress or lying to the FBI?
IIRC this got triggered when Comey told the committee that the FBI could not consider a perjury charge for her statements to the FBI without a referral.
Can you offer up a specific lie she told either Congress or the FBI? And how would you go about proving it was a lie?Is the referral about lying to Congress or lying to the FBI?
IIRC this got triggered when Comey told the committee that the FBI could not consider a perjury charge for her statements to the FBI without a referral.
Yeah, we've seen what Democrats do with infrastructure spending :cough:stimulus:cough: Almost unbelievable 800 billion could just about be flushed away, but it was. Well, it was shovel ready, then flushed away. You don't want to see her get her infrastructure spending bill done?
Not emailing classified information. Using only one device. She claims to have turned over all her work emails. Can you offer up a specific lie she told either Congress or the FBI? And how would you go about proving it was a lie?
Ok, but what does that mean in terms of where she's going to take us compared to where we are now?
Either you're messing with me or you truly do not get my opposition to her.Lying to Congress. They're referring the matter to DOJ.Is the referral about lying to Congress or lying to the FBI?

Page 999 imoYeah, we've seen what Democrats do with infrastructure spending :cough:stimulus:cough: Almost unbelievable 800 billion could just about be flushed away, but it was. Well, it was shovel ready, then flushed away.
America should have way, way less than zero trust in any infrastructure spending from that side of our political system.
ETA: Page 1000 - woot!
It's exceedingly rare to have someone charged for this, and almost impossible that Hillary would under the circumstances. But the fact is -- she almost certainly did lie. She'll claim she didn't know she was lying, but she said she turned over all of her work related emails and it has seen turned out this wasn't remotely the case. Once again, her statement turned out to be entirely untrue and it now comes down to her word that she didn't know it at the time. But we all know she lies.So Republicans just can't help themselves, again. Calling for a Justice Department probe into whether Clinton lied to Congress -- nevermind that we already know she did not.
Nah, when you said her presidency would be a "horrific train wreck of a presidency", you had me concerned about what that meant in terms of the current state of things. I'm at the point where if she can maintain what Obama has done over the past 8 years and appoint a left moderate justice or two, I'd be happy.Either you're messing with me or you truly do not get my opposition to her.
I'm not nearly concerned with where she's intends to "take us" as I am with the candidate herself. I think her presidency has a very good chance of being worse than Watergate. And like with Nixon, we'll look back in hindsight and see all the warning signs we chose to ignore.
