Cenk was talking about the overall public reaction, not just the Republicans. And Sharon Angle made a similar comment in her race against Harry Reid and her candidacy never recovered from it.

That's not what I read in the link I posted, though I glanced it.  I read that Wikileaks does not reveal sources, but they do know...  And he clearly implied it was Rich.

Remember that time that Hillary defended a child rapist? The girl who was raped speaks out against Hillary for blocking forensic evidence and laughing about it.

It will be interesting if we see a long list of the women Bill allegedly raped come out and speak against Hillary and her claims of supporting women and children.

Huh.  That's completely at odds with the account of the victim.

Everyone hates lawyers, but wasn't she just doing her job?  Every defendant has the right to legal representation regardless of how much of a scumbag they may be.  Lawyers do this all day long - vigorously defending their clients - so I'm not sure what the big deal is here.

I hate HRC like most people do, but this isn't something I would blame her for.

She was appointed by the court as the defendant had no representation and that is something from an ethical standpoint, no attorney can decline.

The biggest historical precedent for this was John Adams defending the British soldiers who killed 5 colonists in the Boston Massacre. It was not a popular position, no one had wanted to defend the soldiers before he stepped forward and he risked not only danger to his family but also his economic and political future. However, he went forward because "the men were entitled to a fair trial and thought that history might view him as a man who put principle above his personal beliefs". http://classroom.synonym.com/did-john-adams-defend-british-soldiers-11549.html

I just want it on her record in context with the myth of her contributions to families and women, as with her treatment of Bill's victims.  It's all part of her file, and should all be weighted for what it is...  Including the victim's opinion of what went down.

Agreed on all counts.  If you think that child rapists deserve legal representation -- and I do -- then it's kind of hard to blame the lawyer who represents them.

He's kind of high profile and he was invited by the DNC and sat in VIP seating....of course she should disavow him, how can there be any argument.

I haven't checked the news on this but I really hope the Hillary campaign just says hey this was a mistake and move on. It was dumb to put him back there or let him back there, either way. And we all know she has a top shelf staff.

I can't believe he wasn't vetted being right behind her . Almost makes it worse if that was the case. 

Was  he put there because he was Muslim and simple as that?

I have no idea. Like I said I haven't check in on the details, but best case scenario Hillary's campaign is obsessed with having a diverse crowd in the backdrop, they see Asian/Arab, they think 'diverse', they think he looks 'muslim', and they had no idea who he was. Whoever was running that show that day needs to be put out front and exiled to the campaign field office in Sheboygan or something.

No, he wasn't invited to the rally, Hillary's people were not aware he was there, so they did not seat him in VIP section.

Isn't the likely explanation that Clinton staffers put him in the camera view because he looks sorta brown, not knowing who he was?  My impression is that Democrats especially like to stock their backdrops with a diverse-looking group of people.
