In true rapid response mode, the Trump campaign blames this on the biased liberal media looking for an excuse to make the Trump family look bad.  Said Junior was making a death penalty joke, not a Holocaust joke, and if the media wasn't so biased they would have reported it as such.

 
So in the last couple days we've got a poll showing Ohio +5 for Trump and now one for Georgia that's just +4 for Trump link

Obama won Ohio twice and easily lost Georgia twice, but Ohio is 12% black and 3 % Hispanic, while Georgia is 31% black and 9% Hispanic. 

It is mind-blowing that this election appears to be more sharply divided along racial lines than 2008 and 2012.

I can see it.  Trump is a flat out racist.  Every person of color sees this so they're going to vote against him even if they lean conservative.  Romney/McCain did not cause the same sentiment.

clearly he was making a joke over how biased the media is against Republicans and then the media confirmed this by lying about what he was joking about.

“The media has been her number one surrogate in this. Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up,” Trump Jr said. “They’ve let her slide on every indiscrepancy (sic), on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of this thing. If Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now.” 

Not quite a "holocaust joke". 

The type of people that would get offended at him saying that are not the type of people that are going to vote for Trump anyway.  I've long maintained that his appeal is not so much in his policies (which I don't think anyone can name) but in the fact that he says whatever the heck he wants and seems like a "real person" (even thought that's probably not true either).

I do like that this election is revealing Trump's children to be absolute morons.  Nice side benefit.

And they may have hanging and firing squads on the books too, but it doesn't matter if those modes of execution are no longer used.

Per Wiki, last person to be executed in the gas chamber in this country was in 1999.

When you're not burdened by truth, you can say whatever you want.  The people drawn to Trump because they believe the system is rigged and think Trump is the man to unrig it?  They need to hear the media is in on the rigged system, too. 

Trump is the candidate largely because the media did the opposite of its job during the primaries.  And now with the first signs of the media doing actual reporting on Trump and his campaign, he's ditching them like the installed the crown molding at Trump Taj Mahal.

i've tried to make this point a few times over the last few months but many people in this election are voting against someone.   Doesn't mean you for anything.

this is, by far, the worst election of my lifetime.    Thank the D and R parties for giving us a clown show

The ADL is overreacting. They often do. 

There are so many things that bother me about Trump's campaign it would be hard for me to list the first ten. But Jr's use of "gas chamber" is nothing. It's silly.

Technically she never voted to invade Iraq, she voted to give Bush the power to go to war only if it were “necessary and appropriate in order to defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq,” and to do so only upon the President certifying to Congress that “diplomatic or other peaceful means” would be insufficient to defang Saddam. .

So is this the same vote as everyone else took, or was she special?  I'm just wondering after all these years if nobody technically voted for the Iraq war.

Clinton is burdened by truth.   When she's caught in a lie like the e-mail server scandal that won't die or not disclosing how sick he was last week, her numbers drop.  When she tells an inconvenient truth, like discussing the basket of deplorables, her numbers drop.  Her inability to stay truthful and transparent is keeping her from leading this race by a landslide right now.

Trump isn't burdened by truth.. He's demonstrated over and over again he can say whatever he wants and too few give a #### about accuracy for it to matter.  Trump and his surrogates can make stuff up out of thin air, tell lies that can be easily disproven in 60 seconds with decent wi-fi and a browser, and his numbers don't drop.
