Not generally a Hillary fan but can you watch this and think, I'd really rather have Ben Carson or Trump doing this geopolitical stuff?

Has she ever made a foreign policy decision that was right?
Whether it's attributed to Obama (as it should be), Clinton is attached to some pretty horrible foreign policy decisions. I think it's pretty tough to defend policy decisions around Iran, Syria and Russia, not to mention pretending Isis doesn't exist.

Smoking gun email showing that they knew at the outset that the video had nothing to do with it.

Wow...that is new info

Also, Libya and she was wrong on Iraq TWICE.

It's becoming quite apparent to me that the only people who aren't going to be satisfied with this "hearing" are those that don't have a dog in the fight. What a waste of time. The committee is arguing with each other like 5 year olds, we're getting lectures about how politics shouldn't be used in political situations like this by the politician of all politicians, softballs are being thrown by the committee that everyone is suggesting is out to get Hillary......this is the goat rodeo of all goat rodeos and none of them look good at this point.

Mano a chica. Good stuff. Hillary deflected there at the end rather than admit she knew about Blumenthal's business interests and those of her friends.

Now Eli rehabilitates.

Note - the CIA annex did have hired private security on site - Blackwater of Iraq fame/infamy.

If everyone will just simmer down for a minute I'm pretty sure we'll be able to hear her poll #s rising.
I'd like to see one of those Frank Luntz graphs with the poll numbers in green and red going up and down with every word uttered.

And calliope music.

I am going to be disappointed if this doesn't end with Hillary either being escorted out in handcuffs or her jumping on top of her desk and doing the dougie.

If the voting public dedicated themselves to always voting out the incumbents over the next decade, we might have a chance at actually having a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

I've been in and out so missing a lot but I gotta say raking Hillary on the live quotes from Sidney about Pres. Obama was pretty priceless.

Unfortunately this demonstrates how broken our government is, if you don't laugh you will cry. Hillary's numbers may rise no matter what but my guess this whole thing will leave an already disgruntled public less gruntled than ever.

As long as we settle for the "I not quite as bad as my competition" measure of ineptitude, I'm pretty confident we will be continually disappointed with the production of our government.

Guys, I worked with Sidney Blumenthal at Salon in 2004. I know who he is. I was mocking the right. Also: I'm old.
I'm sure she has some stories.

Voters don't care about foreign policy. Trump needs to explain his horrible decision to retail "Donald Trump The Fragrance" before I take him seriously as the leader of the free world.

Here we go.

On the couldawouldashoulda front, Hillary did suspend or fire four persons for security failures, it's not like this is a topic or subject she is in conflict on. We are probably going to go the whole day without anyone asking about that.

Gowdy's point was that protocols were put in place after the Kenyan bombing in the 90s which required the SOS to handle security requests, but he did not make that issue clear. - I think Hillary did really well with that last exchange with Gowdy, he made the point that Hillary was in touch with her coterie but not her ambassadors, but after that he kept making the same point. It would have been nice if we had learned who actually did receive the requests for security before the attack, why did they turn down the requests, and what punishments did the decision makers receive, if any.
