If I misread I apologize. But he has been so over the top in accepting her excuses and double talk I think it's understandable.

Good morning. I neither lapped up the interview or was necessarily disappointed- I was astonished, which is what I wrote. It's an argument- or an excuse- that I haven't encountered before. I have been highly critical of Hillary for her "evolving" stance on several issues, especially gay marriage. But in that she's little different from most politicians (not Bernie, I get it.) I'm voting for her nonetheless for a variety of reasons which have all been stated.

I don't understand why the Democrats should be paying anything here. They tried to shut down the committee. During the Hillary hearing they were the only ones who showed a shred of sanity IMO. Why do we always have to go through this charade of "both sides are equally guilty"? In this case they're not. The Republicans are squarely to blame for this debacle.

I heard from people who would know that Hillary definitely suffered brain damage as result of her fall,and that she now has trouble processing complex information. If she released all her medical records, they would show that, but of course she won't release those because she doesn't want the truth to come out.

True, that's a whole other question. It was a shtshow. I'm glad they dragged the documentation out of her but the hearings weren't conducted in an evidentiary manner. The GOP have had this idea in their head they would force her to implode in some manner, which is insane. She did have the 'what difference did it make' line in the first hearing, which I think reflected poorly on her. But the only 'bad' moment I could even possibly suggest she had in the second hearing was the bizarre moment when she said Stevens hunting for barricades and leftover security materials from evacuated embassies was somehow demonstrative of his 'sense of humor' and 'entrepreneurial spirit.' I thought that was sad and strange, but by far she did better than last time, talked policy like a pro and (and we already knew this) guys like Trump and Carson should be nowhere near a foreign policy situation.

I missed the hearings. I'm guessing Hillary must have had brilliant answers for the alleged incompetence leading up to the attack and the blatant dishonesty immediately after the attack.
