Anyway, I think the ground game stuff will hurt Trump a little, but not nearly as much as people think.
The experts I've heard suggest it's anywhere from a 1% to 3% difference. So using the analogy of a football game spread, it's perhaps the equivalent of home field advantage...

The fact that it is mid-September and Hillary needs a "game-changer" is pretty amazing.
Hate him or not it is becoming very apparent that he is out-campaigning her right now...the guy is proving to be far more of a formidable opponent than most people thought he would be (the bait and switch with regard to the Birther stuff with pretty impressive)...also, Hillary is so compromised...she has exposure on almost every issue and since info is no longer solely-controlled by the friendly networks and big papers she is being put on the defensive daily...no way that her campaign planned for this...add in the fact that this appears to be an anti-establishment election and she has her work cut out for her...she needs to seize some momentum ASAP or she could be in far more trouble than anyone could have imagined when this thing started...

I forwarded my friend (a practising radiologist) Dr Wolf’s analysis of Hillary’s health (linked on your Political Theatre blog).

This is what he texted back to me:

[begin quote]

I think he is focused on minutiae. Can do a combo etc. The real test I care about is her brain MRI. I want her brain MRI. I bet it shows an old stroke from her thrombosis. You can do a Ct calcium score / combo with a CTA and a non-con Ct chest and call it one study. We do that all the time. It misses the boat. What brain damage she has that causes seizures, coughing fits, aspiration, and visual problems is the thing I want to know about. I’d put the money she had a stroke affecting her visual area or brainstem. And the problem is the clot can go away but the way body fixed it elevates risk for all sorts of other problems, such as av fistula, more strokes, brain bleed etc. She belongs in a retirement community.
This picture tells it all

When will Hillary unleash her ground game?
Speaking of ground game, Trump is leaving a lot of money on the table by not having his campaign start a 'Get Out The Vote' program using Trump company buses.  Who cares if it picks up a bunch of Hillary voters - he still wins!

Dear Hillary supporters,

Please be respectful to your candidate and let her rest, heal and allow her to go back to being a grandma. Oval office is a tough job, have mercy, vote for Donald J Trump.

Dear Alias of previously banned poster:

Please be respectful to Hillary supporters in this thread and post your Hillary trashing in the two threads designated for that (one by your good buddy Hell Toupee, and the other by Eminence).

Yeah she's definitely the second-most impressive 9/11 truther lunatic out there, at worst. I'd still probably vote for Pete Carroll over her, though. Tough call.
I assume Hillary is número uno? She did start it after all. Looks like the Blumenthal story is coming out. And do you really want to hold a candidate's wackiest beliefs as the litmus test? Remember Hillary can't wait to get proof on UFOs.

Blumenthal worked with Larry Johnson, so yeah among other reasons (i.e. Blumenthal, & Obama forbade his hiring) I believe that.
It's interesting that what Tim and said is the racist angle - that he's somehow less American, not "one of us" angle really came from the Clinton campaign.  The Mark Penn memo, the picture in traditional garb, the suggestion that he attended a Madrassa....

interesting read here:

http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com/7-news-stories-2008-prove-hillary-started-obama-birtherism/

so so when will Hillary apologize to "That man?"

The RNC does, though, and there's obviously a lot of overlap there.

There's a reason I see lots of Trump ads when I'm watching a baseball game with a large suburban Virginia audience but not a single one when I'm watching Atlanta, yes? Somebody is at the switch there, right?  Maybe not, maybe it's just one guy in an office saying "I think white people watch this" and that's the extent of it. I don't really know how this works.

Anyway, I think the ground game stuff will hurt Trump a little, but not nearly as much as people think.
I don't think the overlap with the RNC is 'a lot' at all. The RNC will do its thing but with no help from Trump.

Overall what is a ground game worth to a campaign? I'm thinking same thing as HFA to an NFL team, 3 points.

Crowdfunding Site Offers Bounties For The ‘Truth’ About Hillary

Imagine a crowdfunding site — except instead of raising money to help a sick child or to finance the creation of a really awesome cooler, it offers bounties for anyone who can dig up Hillary Clinton’s “real” health records

Yaknow I would say just look at the memo, I pointed to it a while back, a serious refutation to all the pushback IMO.

Nice to see the media starting to fact check Trump.

Trump finally backs off Obama birth claim, falsely accuses Clinton of starting it

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Friday abandoned his false claim that Barack Obama was not born in the United States after spending five years peddling conspiracy theories that the country's first African-American president started life as a foreigner.

But, never one to let a controversy go without fanning its flames, Trump accused Hillary Clinton, his Democratic rival in the Nov. 8 election, of starting the so-called birther movement in her failed 2008 presidential campaign against Obama, a claim that does not stand up to scrutiny.

[...]

In making his announcement, Trump advanced a widely debunked claim that Clinton and her 2008 campaign had been the original birthers.

"Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it. You know what I mean," he said.

His campaign directed reporters to a 2007 memo from then-Clinton adviser Mark Penn, who had encouraged the Clinton campaign to go negative against Obama by saying that his Hawaiian birth and boyhood in Indonesia gave him limited roots in American values and culture.

Penn eventually left the Clinton campaign, and his advice was never acted upon.

"A NEW LIE"

The Democratic National Committee condemned Trump's bid to link Clinton to the birther idea. "He had the audacity to spout a new lie about the birther movement that he helped to build," it said.

It's important to note as well that if even the Clinton campaign HAD taken Penn's recommendation it wasn't the same. To say that Obama has "middle eastern roots" is bad enough and subtly racist; to claim that he wasn't born here, that he's illegitimate is BLATANTLY racist.

Trump is hoping this story will go away now. Hopefully the media won't let it.

Hillary Clinton’s Backers Thought She Couldn’t Lose. Now, ‘I Can’t Go There.’

even some zealous Clinton defenders have grown frustrated with their candidate, marveling at the prospect of her snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, for which some say they would never forgive her. The campaign’s decision last week not to acknowledge Mrs. Clinton’s pneumonia until two days after a diagnosis, once video surfaced of her stumbling out of a Sept. 11 memorial service on Sunday, has especially rankled.

“They kept it from us,” said Sonia Ascher, 74, a former campaign volunteer, sitting with her husband and son at a coffee shop in Portsmouth, N.H. “It was just another thing again, another mistake, which she really can’t afford right now.”

Good reply, guy I don't know who called me an ####### unprompted this morning.  I'm sure what youve posted here is well-founded, and I value your opinion.

I must have missed something, this is what I get for relaxing and having fun on a Friday.

538 has Hillary down to 60% (from 70 a week ago).

One significant problem I heard yesterday: 41% of millennials who supported Bernie are now planning to vote for Gary Johnson. That's way too big a number. That alone could allow Trump to win this election.

These kids don't like Hillary; they never have. But they don't seem to realize what the effect will be of their vote. Both Bernie and Warren are going to Ohio this weekend as part of a plan to reverse this trend; hopefully it's not too late.
If Hillary was worth voting for, you would not need to pass the blame.

I'm not blaming anyone except those who vote for Donald Trump. I will never blame the Johnson voters, but I hope that they can still be convinced to vote for Hillary because she IS worth voting for. I hope I can convince you too.

I'm not interested in playing identity politics. I'm a slut, and I have herpes. I still am a person who deserves respect.
Arizona Ron has unprotected herpes sex with unsuspecting women and you guys cheer him on.  Yet Hillary gives encouragement to a women who is fighting back against harassment while presumably having protected sex with knowing partners and you find it funny.

It's a double standard but it's the way it's gotta be. We don't love dem hoes.

Stalking him from thread to thread trying to force him to answer a question is a little bit weird.
Not as weird as coming back under a new alias after being banned in this forum.

Can one of the mods do an IPS address check on this character so at least we know who we are talking to?

@HillaryClinton So why did your man #sidblumenthal spread the #obama birther rumor to me in 2008, asking us to investigate? Remember?

You know, the sports gambling guru who likes to quote Bible passages.

Code:
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Colin Powell wrote in a jaw-dropping e-mail that he doesn’t want to vote for his pal Hillary Clinton because she’s a greedy defender of the status quo whose husband is “still d–king bimbos at home (according to the NYP)” — the New York Post.

“I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend I respect,” the former secretary of state wrote Democratic donor Jeffrey Leeds on July 26, 2014.

“A 70-year person with a long track record, unbridled ambition, greedy, not transformational, with a husband still dickng bimbos at home (according to the NYP),” reads the explosive e-mail obtained by the Web site DCLeaks. Hillary is actually 68.

I've said this before, but I seriously think certain posters here might be autistic (or on the spectrum, like Asberger).  There's an incredibly strange and abnormal notebook floating around in certain quarters.

- Clinton campaign startegy memo labeling Obama not "fundamentally American" - check

- Circulating photo of Obama in Somali garb - check

- Sidney Blumentahl pitching birther story to some journalists - check (it makes sense now, why he forbade her from hiring him at State)

- started the Obama attended a Madrassa meme

it all looks really bad

When I speculated that might be true for SIDA, I was attacked by several people here for mocking the disabled. Doubt we will hear one peep from anybody about your comment. Double standard depending on the political views of the poster.

No it doesn't.

What looks bad is Trump openly questioning Obama's citizenship, his college records, etc.

But what looks even worse is that the Republican base bought into this hook line and sinker...and they still do.
