And what kind of Intel do you think Civillian trump with zero security clearance has access to? 

We do know, however, what caliber of Intel the Secretary of State had access to and is under federal investigation for mishandling and then covering up that mishandling.

If all other things were equal, this would be an excellent tiebreaker.

Even if all other things weren't equal (but they were pretty close), it would definitely tip the scales.

But the reality is that almost no one voting for Trump is doing it solely because of an FBI investigation.

 
Even though Hillary knew she had a ton of #### hidden, she just couldn't let Biden or Bernie or anyone else run.  She had to try and go for it and now we're stuck with President Trump and his slobbering mob of empowered low educated whites.  Repeal abortion, make Christianity the national religion, build the freaking wall, let's just go backwards in time 100 years.

Overall, Mixed signals from what I heard yesterday. Nevada is similar to four years ago which is good, Ohios early voting patterns lean Republican... Texas is seeing a lot of new voters in dem areas, but that's more a trend to watch for 4,8,12 years than its effect on this election.

Not really.  Florida is a bit different in that much of their Hispanic population is Cuban and they lean Republican.

I probably should have used liberal and conservative in lieu of republican and democrat to remain consistent.  I figured it wasn't a big deal because of the the areas I was talking about.  Generally speaking it so happens that the areas left to lead on, the traditional terms actually do apply.  I can see how it seems that I stepped in the pile of poo I warn people about.  Sorry for the confusion.

ETA:  And to be clear I labeled her "republican" because she's to the right on free trade, she's to the right on war, she's to the right on wall street.

Hillary had to know this stuff does not stay hidden. The concern is not that even is she wins she could be impeached in her first quarter leaving the country in a tied up mess for two years. The DNC should force her out and throw Biden in there as he could probably win easily after this mess.

Reminder that (1) as far as we know basically nothing was hidden, and (2) we have no idea what the scrutiny of a general election presidential race would have turned up on Sanders or anyone else.

I haven't watched this yet (no objection here just making a separate point, as I see this is by Anonymous and it relates to the posts re: Kid DotCom too)...

Many do not realize the absolute scorn and hate the hacker community have for Hillary. As SOS her department was highly aggressive in its pursuit of data and IP pirates and hackers and leakers. They have a personal vendetta against her. I've pounded the table about Russia and Trump and I may have been the first poster to raise that issue in the Trump threads but here in the Hillary thread this gets overlooked. Of course her vigorous pursuit of leakers and hackers didn't stop her from engaging in her own secreting and careless handling of data, but over and beyond the Russia/Trump issue the global hacker community has it out for her and US pirating/leak enforcement.

Their growing population segments are not Cuban though (unless I'm mistaken,. but fairly confident). They are the more traditionally growing Latino cohorts.  

That said, no idea how the Cuban population is reacting to Trump, though my understanding is he has alienated quite a bit of that base as well, but I really don't know much on that.

That's how we're deciding to vote now? One is a sexist, racist, bigoted, fraud and the other is being investigated for emails. Somehow being a slimy human being is worse than deleting emails.

I think it is damaging similar to Trump's statements about the election being rigged. I already voted for hillary in PA, but these attacks on comey leave a bad taste. They are worse than the actual emails imo.

This is what is going to sway the election.  When people open that screen and find how much NOTHING will cost them. it'will be another nail for Hillary.

This article just talks about the rate increases...it says nothing about the increases in the deductibles.

Sure.  Trump's campaign is the subject of a federal investigation into ties to Russian hacking efforts (none directly linking Trump thus far but investigation is ongoing).  Also, Trump IS currently under investigation, by the NY Attorney General, for fraud related to his charity.  And don't forget that Trump was not only investigated by the Justice Department previously for racial discrimination, but that unlike Clinton that investigation actually resulted in a decision to litigate, in this case a civil liability lawsuit that Trump eventually settled but then was dragged back into court by Justice for violating the terms of the settlement (basically, still discriminating).

If your criteria is "which candidate has been the subject of fewer law enforcement investigations," the winner is Hillary Clinton by a landslide.

National security is of the utmost importance to me, so I will vote for the guy who provokes terrorists, the guy with very obvious ties to Vladimir Putin, the guy who will isolate us from our traditional allies, the guy who may withdraw from NATO, the guy who can't bring up the nuclear option fast enough, because the other candidate had some emails on a server they shouldn't have been on (despite the initial investigation not finding a crime).

Fwiw IMO Trump is definitely under investigation. The pronouncement in the NYT that they had found no connections reminded me of the early FBI comments about how they could not confirm Hillary is under investigation.

The Russian server issue may or may not be legit, but the IC has been investigating Manafort, Page and Trump's business in Russia, and I don't think they are remotely done.

What cracks me up is how all this is dropped in the press without the Hatch Act slander against Comey and the CIA we see with Hillary.

It is cute how some of you state mishandling of emails as if they are the same ones you send to your friends about dinner or the movies. Intentionally mishandling secret documents is a more telling description.

 
Hope you guys can go tell your children that being a deplorable person is okay as long as someone else has their emails investigated.

 
Trump's path to win the electoral college map is borderline hail mary stuff.  everyone needs to relax.  

i still predict a blowout with crooked Hil taking every swing state.

Why would I tell my children that?  If I tell them anything it will be not to settle and expect excellence out of our politicians.  If we all did that, we wouldn't be in this position today :shrug:

fivethirtyeight has moved Trump's chances of winning the election from about 12% to about 26% in four days.
