Just think of how awesome a Trump State of the Union address would be though.

"(Looking at the camera) You, the American people...you're brilliant. Believe me. (Turns to Congress). But you, you nest of vipers..."

JFC.  I never thought this was possible, that Trump really could win this thing.  Sanders, Biden, or any average Democrat would be crushing him right now, but no, you just had to have Hillary "most qualified ever" "she didn't do anything wrong" Clinton.  Thanks a lot.
Bump.

Hillary always came with risk. Risk is chance vs magnitude, and with Trump the magnitude of the risk became much, much bigger and while the chance of Hillary's flaws catching up to her were constant. Given the magnitude, the chances taken never made sense. I think she still wins but the whole up and down ride has been unnecessary.

It's not all bad news for Hillary:

She is actually in a stronger position at this point than Obama was in 2012.
Yea, but she is clearly trending down, whereas Obama was trending up at this point.  She is in real trouble.  Her response to the FBI letter to blame Comey was a terrible strategy.  Trump now sees the finish line and is toning it down.  Unless something more bombastic (like what!?) than we have already seen drops about Trump TODAY, then Hillary has a real problem.

Hillary is really tanking.
We are starting to get the post-fallout polling.  This may get worse for her.

The Wikileaks barrage is also hard to overcome.  It's a new scandal every day.  In isolation they could be picked off and dealt with, but with the current course they are devastating.  They make it almost impossible to change the momentum.

Jeeziss, someone please give the guy a golden parachute and be done with it. Immunity from prosecution, a billion in cash, and an archipelago in the Virgin Isles. Done, be gone.

While looking at Congress, I would LOVE to hear him say...."from this point forward, you are back in business.  From this point forward, you are to vote your constituency....NOT your Party."

Never gonna happen...but it's nice to dream.

I don't agree. If we vote today Hillary still wins. And frankly I expect she will surge further over the weekend. I expect her to win Florida.

Yes because he's going to control how Congress votes

Fyi here is the DailyBeast report.

- I wouldn't read too much into this, IG's follow up on every complaint and the feds released files on Trump as well as Rich. Nothing unusual about releasing 15 year old files on closed cases.
Maybe, but I think there is more than just a coincidence all of this damaging info is coming out of the FBI at the same time, and so close to the election.  Plus, they just reopened email / told fox about CF indictments.  The FBI knows the Clintons are dirty and are tired of being silenced.

And no I won't kill myself if Trump wins. My head won't even explode. If he wins it will be an entertaining 4 years. I'll wish him the best and hope he governs like Kellyanne Conway would and not like David Duke would. And then we'll see.

538: Most Voters Haven't Changed Their Minds All Year http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/most-voters-havent-changed-their-minds-all-year

This is pretty interesting. Even though this election has been deemed "reactionary" compared to those in the past, they found very little shift in support from a group that was polled in January and October - even less of a shift than what they saw after conducting the same type of poll in 2008.
PEC has an excellent graphic that shows the fluctuations in elections since the '50s. Long story short, since the late '90s things are usually pretty baked in by t-100 days before Election Day. We're basically quibbling over a movement of 1-3 points anymore.

On the bright side, at least the press will start doing their job.

I've said it before and it's sadly true, but I'm mostly here for the entertainment value, and that makes part of me really want a Trump presidency. Shameful I know, but... good lord we'd be laughing for years. If it wasn't for the Commander in Chief bit, I'd could put aside many things I hate about him and let the hilarity commence.

I'm trying to create a bright side here guy. There could be worse things than a Trump presidency. Rectal cancer comes to mind.
Does "a Hillary Presidency come before or after rectal cancer on this list?

Actually...I know someone who has survived rectal cancer.

I am, and guess what? If you live in California, you're voting for Hillary. If you don't like it tough ####.
I usually hate this dynamic of residing in our greatest state, but this year it's a godsend. No reason to endorse either.

Oh and wth. I owe you an apology for calling you out for attention whoring. I was a little too nasty there.

I hope I am wrong, believe me.  The fact the Clintons are going to be in PA tells me they are worried here too.  Or maybe they just wanted to be where they had the DNC.

I get it but voters treating him like a funny entertainer (which he was) and the media and opposing campaigns elevating him because he's supposed to be so beatable and the system so malleable is how we got here.

I don't expect any of the media or parties to stop screwing up once he's in power. Seriously unfunny proposition.

1-3 points is quite a lot.

It's amazing that just two weeks ago there were articles referencing Hillary's campaign working to make her not look too presumptuous.

Women are gonna crush him next Tuesday ...
I also think that women will come out even stronger for Hilldog than they're currently polling.  I mean if you were a self respecting woman, how could you possibly vote for Trump?  I'd take the political criminal over the sexist pig any day of the week.
