The whole Clinton Foundation stuff is absolute fodder IMO.  It is a highly respected charity responsible for a ton of good, and it contributes to the best causes humans can involve themselves in sans the lack of contributions to animal welfare causes which are important to me personally.  I hate Saudis, I am among the the least prejudice and bigoted people I know (and those who know me will confirm this), but they are complete pigs.  I've spent a lot of time in that ####hole and in Qatar, and I can't say positive thing about either.

However, if you are getting funds to benefit the masses via these scoundrels, to me that's like stealing from the wolf to the benefit of the lamb.  I see no issue with this, it's doing the right thing by whatever means possible. 

Hillary's server is hilarious, all those high ranking gov ####ers did the same damn thing.  "Set me up with a private server so I can circumvent the system, because I'm, important and I need this stuff to do my job."  Everyone in govt did this from 2000 to 2012 or whatever, it's just like anything else with powerful people.  Colin Powell did it, Petraeus did it, Wolfowitz did it, they all did it.  Just like the CEO of Qualcom or Lockhead Martin did it, but in their cases the only thing that happened was China stole their secrets and made jellycocks in the form of the Wonder Twins™.

I did not.  I said this is the kind of art one of the Podesta's likes.  Seems odd to me.  A lot of the people they hang around seem to like to go to an Island where the owner of that Island was arrested for enslaving two girls.  Lots of hints from sources that the Clintons are connected to this Island since Bill took 20 trips there and the Foundation gets giant sums from the pedophile.

The team went crazy because the irresponsible director of the FBI made an announcement that can influence the election 11 days before voting.  That's the whole reason they went crazy.  Spoiler (which isn't much of a spoiler because I've talked about it for a year on here) one of her top media staffers is a friend of mine, who I've known for almost 20 years.  I promise you they were freaking out because the election was 11 days away and this was a massive violation of policy.

so going forward, nothing secure has to ever be secure?  I am confused.  We probably could save a lot of money and declassify everything then.

Bill did not take 20 trips there.  You have never seen documents that evidence that Bill took 20 trips there.  You saw an article from a crazy person that says that at best.

See THIS is the sort of thing that is a legitimate criticism. Totally legit.  Run with that.  Slightly oberblowm by now IMO but a perfectly legitimate criticism.

would it be a violation of policy (same Hatch act) to stall the FBI (Lynch had done that repeatedly - would not allow him to combine investigations, etc).  Again, I ask sincerely, why would they INTERFERE when Trump only had a 12% chance of winning.  Did they expect him to win if they did this?  It actually has made the race quite close, but no way could they suspect that with Trump being Trump.  Comey did this knowing it was committing  job suicide.  Yet he did it anyway.

Not sure the question.  Hillary screwed up by having classified info on a NIPRnet system.  She is not excused, but Trump dry humping the topic while in bed with the Russians is deplorable.  Worry less about an honest mistake and more about a nefarious intention IMO.

You guys can all say I am wearing the tin hat, but I suspect if the DOJ actually allows a Grand Jury to convene, HRC is in some seriously deep trouble.  The FBI did not go rogue for fun. We all know the NSA spy cloud has every email including the 33,000 that were deleted.  The theory among my circle of tin-foil hat wearing hackers is the FBI has all of those emails.  Plus they now have Anthony Weiners emails.  and we know from WikiLeaks, that HRCs team conspired not to send a bunch of emails (Mills, Podesta, others go down for that).  

But I still have a giant suspicion this is way deeper than emails.  They found 7 SAP programs and said no problem.  Finding 10 more of those does not change the narrative.  That's not worthy of hail-mary status. 

 
And to that end Hillary's actions of having a separate email account and server to do her job isn't the issue.  The Issue is her denial and ho-hum attitude towards legitimate accusations or wrong doing.  ""I screwed up, I admit it.  Doing what everyone else does is not how America remains the most powerful and amazing democracy in the history of the world.  I accept that I failed to follow procedure, but my intention was to do my job and what was best for the American people.  Also, BENGHAZI!!!!!"

We have proof that the WikiLeaks came from Russia?  I saw two statements from two security agencies talking about the DNC leaks that hinted that this could be the case.  I have never seen an official position on the Podesta leaks and many saying it was doubtful.  Again I am not saying Guccifer or other stuff.  

For me it doesn't really matter.  The leaks are out there.  They have shown the corruption. None of that evidence is likely admissible.  The FBI would need to prove their case without any leaked info.

100% agree.  This would have went away much faster had she just turned everything over assuming there were not a bunch of emails showing the Pay to Play scams.  That's why some of us believe she set all of this private email up.  And you are likely right.  It's happening everywhere (or was)

The WikiLeaks founder went on record yesterday in his interview saying the Podesta emails did not come from Russia. I would be very conflicted if the FBI said it on the record.  HRC's team yelling Russia is not very convincing.  I tend to believe WikiLeaks as they have shown no reason to be partial here.  Assange's latest video says Trump is unelectable called him White Trash.

Fwiw Assange has usually said in the past his sources were anonymous. Recently however he has said he will not reveal his sources. That's contradictory as it suggests a change in that he knows who his sources are.

I don't think it's impossible that Assange has relied on the kindness of strangers in the past and that they may have been from Moscow (weirdly it was Assange who helped land Snowden in Moscow's airport) but even if not it's a pretty simple matter to be manipulated by a foreign government by simply accepting whatever data is dropped through the front door slot. The technical evidence is very strong also. 

I don't think that affects how we look at some very basic issues revealed in the emails though.

Fwiw there is more than one source of hacked documents, Guccifur 2 is one there are at least a couple others. Note they don't say Wikileaks there or specify the source. The possibility of disinformation is strong and the whole thing is an active measure but I'm sure Hillary fans want to take this as a reason to tell people to turn away from all information in the hacked emails.

Dodds is off the deep end lately, but "nothing remains" isn't accurate, either.  We've got all sorts of conflicts of interest between State, Teneo, the Foundation, etc.  We have multiple State staff members pleading the 5th, which, by definition, means those staff members believe there is something incriminating.  We definitely have intentional skirting of FOIA.  We likely have intentional deletion of data while under subpoena.

Let's not suggest that there's nothing going on here.

If "what they have on her" is largely fabricated by websites that recognize there is a huge target audience right now for this kind of stuff.

If "what they have on her" is more of the same stuff as before, which they already deemed to show "carelessness but not intent."

If "what they have on her" can be easily turned into "what they have on Abedin", because the supporting cast taking the fall for the main player is the American way (Chris Christie being the most recent example).

Comey did exactly the right thing by releasing the news about the new emails.  What he could have done is held it until after the election, now that would have been a political move and also one that would have reflected extremely poorly upon the FBI.  By releasing the information he's beyond reproach, and even though the timing is unfortunate for Clinton, big picture she has to understand that holding that info would have lead to her first scandal as president. 

Our government does a bad job of releasing information sometimes, and it has cost it the trust of the people.  Release, release, release and make things transparent as you can because you are beholden to the people of America more than you are to a system or tradition.  Comey likely warned the AG this was going to happen and maybe he gave his reasoning, maybe he didn't.  He really doesn't have to, he has full power to release information.  But he probably gave the AG enough warning that at least the White House was ready for this, beyond that I couldn't say. 

The FBI is super conservative, all the Federal Law Enforcement agencies are.  The FBI also has a good reputation to protect and I think those within the agency recognize the importance of maintaining that reputation (more autonomy, more :moneybag: and more pull when they really need something from politicians).  I'm guessing a good majority of those who work there are voting for Trump, but in general these people keep their politics in tight circles and influencing agents in particular is pretty difficult. 

At the end of the day Comey has a responsibility to the American people and to his agency exponentially more than he has responsibility to politicians.  He has gone against both GW Bush and Obama on many issues over the years in his capacity in government, he's not some throw it the wall and see if it sticks appointee.

Agreed Saints...probably why it didn't get a ton of attention.  I was browsing over the thread since I hadn't been in.  Figured it was worth a bump given all the "Comey did this to influence the election" garbage that was being spewed.  I still can't get over that weak sauce....he's a God send one day then the devil the next all because he's doing his job.  What a bunch of partisan doosh bags :thumbdown:   Needless to say, I am ready for this portion of the nightmare to end.  Problem is, it's midnight and I am assured another nightmare when I fall back asleep.

There is an article out which is more convincing than that case. As we know Bill has his own allegation on that score. With *almost every scandal Trump and Bill/Hillary match up 1-1.

I see why they called this PHASE 3.  Those are definitely bad.  Doug Band is the gift that keeps giving.  He is about to learn a very big life lesson about what you should say in an email.

I can confirm two of @Doctor Detroit 's comments.

1. I know him personally. He is about the least racist person I know.

2. Since I know him, I also know that he does generally hate people. Of course, when the caliber of person he hangs around is yours truly, that's not a surprising result.
