Official "I lost on the Brees hail mary INT" thread (1 Viewer)

Yeah, that's right. My team was up by less than 1 point....with 15 seconds left in the game. Then Brees threw an INT on the hail mary...minus 2 points. Unreal.

The worst part is that I had AP, Brees and Vilma going up against Charles Grant, and only needed a positive margin of 21.2 points.

Thank you Brad Childress and Drew Brees.

Brutal!! I was on phone with a guy up by with brees......end up winning by .8 pts. And he had (in a basically even match before gametime) AP and Brees against Deuce and Bush.

Btw, did I mention that Lance Moore is a flipping scrub?

I actually WON on that play. Tie game after the Longwell field goal and I had the Vikings defense. Got the extra point for the turnover.

Sorry.... maybe I should start my own thread. :goodposting:

I can top any story.

I was winning by 2.98 pts...then Longwell kicked a 30 yard FG for the other guy, so I was down by .02. My opponent also had Brees so he got -1 on the hail mary INT, handing me back over the lead...and the win.

I just about had a heart attack when they reviewed the INT.

Won $75 on the Vikings winning outright too... it was a good MNF for me!

This should be in the venting thread, but I lost my secondary league because of the int.

<thread hijack>

I was down by 2 with Ryan Longwell against my opponent who had Bernard Berrian and Adrian Peterson.

The pass interference on the throw to Berrian set up the FG which won me the game by 1.

If Berrian would have caught the pass instead of the P/I, I would have lost.

WWWWHHHHEEEEWWWW!!!

I was up 103.50 to 101.58............I knew it was going to happen.

Lost by .08

I want to destroy something beautiful right now.

 Poor use of the shirt. This is a thread dedicated to losing on Brees' INT. It's the appropriate place to complain. I know some folks are itching to use it all the time...but try to use it when appropriate.
What is the shirt supposed to symbolize.....other than L. Moore being a complete dud!??
What does "the shirt" mean??????
it means:there were 8 or so other players on my team who all could have gotten me ten more yards to win, but i choose to blame my loss on Brees' interception because it happened last.

Dude...you gotta admit that losing on a last second...not even close to the endzone....time expired....hail mary pick is brutal and a tough pill to swallow.

Yea it cost me a win too. Was up by less than a point and lost 3 on the Int. :hot: I know 1 of the Minnesota DB's tried to just knock the ball down but he knocked it right into a teammate's hands. Bad karma.

can probably one up all of you.......

lost a game in one league on that play.... and won in another on that play...both close games with the INT being a 2 pt swing

had Minn D in one and was going against Minn D in the other

had Longwell in league I lost

Just adding my name to the wall here. Makes me think that hail mary INTs should have a special category - as in no points deducted (or added to the DEF). I almost lost in two leagues because of that play - one because of Brees (did lose) and another because of the DEF (still won by less than a point).

OK, I feel better now.
