Nah, will be more balanced. Just what the doctor ordered.I like Fournette as a player, but he isn't exactly going to help the Jags. Offense is going to suck unless Bortles suddenly finds football jesus.
Robinson is a steal in the second though.
I don't think they're going to pick a QB. I think they're going to see if BB can improve and then move on.Let's see if Nathan Peterman makes it back to them in 4th
They didn't have a FB on the roster last year but added one this offseasonSo do the Jags employ a lot of fullback and I formation looks?
Was hoping for the same.I'd love for the Jags to trade back in for Bucky Hodges. I'm really surprised he's still around. Upside TE could add another dimension to this team.
They will now.So do the Jags employ a lot of fullback and I formation looks?
I don't like this pick either. I just can't help but have thoughts that we've got another Justin Blackmon.I have a problem with the Westbrook pick. Not a fan of his off the field antics. He's not a good guy. Would have much rather seen a DB, TE, G/C.
I like the Blair Brown pick though.
Well not as bad as Mike Glennon getting $15M.Blake Bortles is going to get $18M next year. I can't even...
I just don't understand the logic with picking the option up. If he rebounds and becomes what they obviously think he can be, then they can just franchise him next year.Well not as bad as Mike Glennon getting $15M.
I was scratching my head, too, until I read that he can be cut before the next NFL year starts, and the Jags won't be on the hook for the option. Knowing that, it made a bit more sense to me.I just don't understand the logic with picking the option up. Interesting. I assumed it was fully guaranteed.I was scratching my head, too, until I read that he can be cut before the next NFL year starts, and the Jags won't be on the hook for the option. Knowing that, it made a bit more sense to me.

Me, too. I was pretty much as un-thrilled as you seem to be, until I read an article, and realized it isn't such a bad move. Other than guarateed money, I guess teams can get out of nearly any contract.Interesting. I assumed it was fully guaranteed.
I believe this is true as long as he doesn't get hurt. Let's say he tears his ACL during the 2017 season. I believe that makes his contract guaranteed for 2018.I was scratching my head, too, until I read that he can be cut before the next NFL year starts, and the Jags won't be on the hook for the option. Or they can get this 5th year out of him and hold that FT option for the following year. How much do you think the Redskins would love to step Cousins' FT status back a year?I just don't understand the logic with picking the option up. If he rebounds and becomes what they obviously think he can be, then they can just franchise him next year.
He's crazy, but this team needs this.Time to cut Malik Jackson before he gets suspended for substance abuse? The Jaguars are not winning the Super Bowl this season. Love his optimism though.
When Sage Rosenfels is mocking you....Bortles' descent continues. 5 picks in tonight's practice.
? ooof.
He played qb in the NFL- that gives him more credibility than pretty much anyone else. When Sage Rosenfels is mocking you....
@SageRosenfels18: Only 6 balls were fully incomplete though. @Jaguars https://twitter.com/ryanohalloran/status/891465327875428352
?@BortlesFacts: Blake Bortles has thrown 80 touchdown passes to a combined 9 NFL teams. https://twitter.com/BortlesFacts/status/891665379323510784/photo/1
Caldwell is a disaster. This team is going to be bad forever.Sigh. So much for improving the OL.
