Quite the turn around over the last few days. Bats are coming around and the bullpen has been perfect. Hopefully Happ is alright.

I can't believe how bad he is. A few years ago I thought for sure he had cy youngs in his future.Shockingly, after being recalled after only one start in the Florida State League, Ricky Romero is still ####.
Just sometimes you dont have that luck on your side. You get two ground balls but they find a hole, and in that situation, you need a double play or something like that and I didnt get it.To those who believe he needed more time in the minors, Romero had a quick reply.I know this is where I belong and Ill continue to say that, he said. I can care less what anyone thinks.
Ricky RoAnkielToronto looked good against the champs this week. In other news, Rickey Romero's AAA line today 3.2IP / 4H / 3R /2ER / 6BB / 1K
Bautista 4/4, 2 HR, 4 RBI, BB, SB today in a 4-3 win.
I guess I might as well cut the grass this afternoon.Looks like it's B.P. Dickey again today.
It was great to see Gibbons and Bautista put Lawrie in his place.Kawasaki is money. Great 9th inning comeback all around, excluding Lawrie acting like a child, of course.
His OBP is about 100 points higher than either Bonifacio or Izturis and he's the only one of the 3 who can play SS, they need to keep him around when Reyes returns.Kawasaki.
Geez. Good chance we've seen the last of him.Northern Voice said:Ricky Romero: 0.2 IP, 5 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 3 BB, 1 HR in his start today against Durham
Romero ended his last outing on four consecutive walks. This time he ends it on three consecutive walks.

I think this guy's done for good.the World Champions haven't been an offensive juggernaut latelyJohnson 7 strong yesterday and Dickey 8 1/3 shutout today (plus the game winning RBI)... hope?
He'll be the twelfth different Blue Jays pitcher to start a game this season. The Yankees have granted Chien-Ming Wang his release after the right-hander exercised an opt-out clause in his minor-league contract, the team announced. Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that the sinkerballer will sign with the Blue Jays and join their rotation next week.Wang, 33, signed with New York at the end of spring training. He went 4-4 with a 2.33 ERA and 58 percent ground-ball rate in 58 innings across eight Triple-A starts before opting out. The Yankees reportedly wanted him to focus on his offspeed pitches since his trademark sinker now sits more 88-90 mph rather than 93-95.

Yeah they're saying 10-14 days likely. How long we looking at before Reyes is back? What are they saying locally? Just read today he's in Florida to start his simulated games and then off to rehab. Two weeks? ish?

What an embarrassment last night. 3 ABs with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. 3 Ks. Time for him to hit the bench and let Thole play. Why would you ever throw Arencibia a strike? He swings at everything.
He's replacement level now according to Fangraphs. One of the worst OBP's in the league and one of the worst defensive catchers in the league can't be redeemed by hitting a few mistake fastballs out of the park.Cliff Clavin said:What an embarrassment last night. 3 ABs with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs. 3 Ks. I'd stick Lind in between Bautista and EE to split up the right hand bats. Teams seem to be bringing in their big power righties to face Bautista and EE. Stick Lind in there and you either force them to burn a lefty on just Lind or it gets EE a chance to face a lefty. That is assuming Lind continues the ridiculous streak he is on.Batting order when Reyes returns?
I like
Reyes
Bautista
Encarnacion
Lind
Melky
Colby
crap
vomit
garbage
ReyesAnd there’s more gold on the Reyes front, as Ben Nicholson-Smith writes at
Sportsnet about John Gibbons’ appearance today on Baseball Central with Jeff Blair and Gregg Zaun:
Even when Jose Reyes returns from his left ankle sprain, the Toronto Blue Jays expect to continue using Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion in the number two and three spots of the lineup.
