I know I can do Library, it's my white whale of soloing as a hunter.Haven't stepped foot in the School, but I'll give it a whirl.Hey Broadway and Mael - you guys willing to run my minst through School and Library fast one day? Those are his last 2 quests in Eregion, then on to Moria.

FYI - I am always willing to help run your alts through quests. I have my 60 hunter that could cruise through fellow quests up into Angmar, and my champ and minst are each almost 54. Just let me know if you are leveling an alt and need, say, help running through Dol Dinen or Evendim crap. Even Goblintown would be pretty durn easy at this point.

Well Maelstrom, I got my helm right after you left. Our group dissolved to all but Sop, myself and Almano (the burg's minst). Sop called 3 buddies and we flew through that last boss and I won the roll among 4 that needed the helm.

Mael - u need to level an alt with Broadway and I. We hit the morroval area in Jazargund today. What is your next highest level alt?
On a side note, I really like how they worked the gear instances. Instead of a Rift which would take 3-4 hours or more for a run and require 12 people and a lot of strat, it is boiled down to the 6 instances with only a fellowship. Means the more mortal of us can get the uber gear, not just the raidin' fools that are on 4 hours every night.

quick question: is it possible to include asci characters in names? for example, i'd like the u in an alt's name to be ú -- any way to do this ingame?

I have a guard that is 52 (Gwaran), but not sure how much I plan to level him until they make some changes to tanks or make some content that requires one again.My next highest is 30.....

No idea.As for my characters, have my 60 hunter, 60 minstrel, 54 champ and a 50 capt and 50 LM. Have 5/6 radiance armour for the 60's and some nice teal LI's. Gonna lvl the champ next I think.

my champ was going for the undying title. i'm at lvl 19 with about 1500xp left to ding to lvl 20. i accidentally pull 4 orcs at glumhollow, but decide to fight anyway. my heal misses, so i am very low on health with 2 orcs still standing. i am slowed running away, and get crit from behind. i die, and would have levelled if i had turned in all my quests first.
since i'm a title whore, and this is one title you can't get once you die, i refuse to play him anymore. i leveled him in the shire too just to be safe, which was a pain in the butt, and have about 20 hours on him. ### ####it i'm stupid.
the good thing is that champions weren't really in high demand. so i'm not sure i would have enjoyed him at end-game anyway. on the other hand, i'm freaking sick of healing (because you have to stare at health bars instead of enjoying the game) and refuse to play a char that might force me into that role. so, no RK, LM, minstrel, or captain. and tanking is boring while solo, so i'm hesitant to go with guardian or warden. that leaves hunter, champion, and burglar.
ugh. just ugh. i think now is a good time to get angry-drunk.

I have to say that I get more frustrated with my champ than any other alt. I tend to die more often fighting the same amt of mobs than any other character. My hunter and even minstrel were easier to solo.
Pretty frustrating.

I am starting to feel the monotony of this one. I think the constant grind for both LI's and their relics can just burn you out too fast. Not that I am stopping play, but might slow down a bit and will see what book 7 has to offer. Or maybe I will start a burg or something like that.

although i'm nowhere near this point yet, i'm almost universally hearing this as a negative. i'm surprised turbine would go this route when there's practically a univeral rejection of the grind involved, plus the LI system completely destroys crafting

Yeah, they totally destroyed crafting. Zero reason at all for anything from tailor or metalsmith aside from the combo tools and maybe a cloak. Woodworker is even more worthless now than it was, and that is really saying something. Too bad.Grinding relics is bad enough, but when you have to grind thousands and thousands of mobs to try and get a 2nd age drop, and then only have a single digit % to get the item you in fact want = fail.

Have 6/6 rad for the minst, 5/6 rad for the hunter and 1/6 for my champ. Really want to get all 6 for them all before book 7 hits, if anyone else wants to join up and get it done.
Just got a new laptop today - Asus G50 - Intel C2D CPU (2.2 Ghz), 4 GB RAM and the 9800GS mobile card. Looks absolutely gorgeous, and am looking forward to seeing how LOTRO looks in DX10 beauty.

Sounds like we REALLY need to hit DD before book 7, which is where most changes will hit hardest. I do not think 16th will be affected at all, since there are not any exploits in there. Forges would be a good one to hit, as well, due to the fast pass going bye bye. We could do 1 forges run per 20-25 minutes easily.

Yeah, I keep trying to get DD done, but my kin just has bad memories from our early runs where we didn't know anything. Actually, I've done forges the 'real' way more than cheating. It's a pretty satisfying run.

I agree on Forges - still a fast run doing it right. Have done it fast and normal about 50/50 I would say, but no one wants to run the real way anymore in groups.

Broadway and I will be running a DD (helm) group tonight for any other FBG's that want to join. I have my champ, as well as a guard and a hunter (who can change to his 60 capt after he gets his helm) and Broadway has whoever he wants to bring.

Epic had been fighting the Watcher, but have not downed it yet. We had to take a break from the fight for a bit due to losing a few people 
(leaving us short on geared members to do the fight) - so we had to go back and gear a few more people up. We're heading back in shortly to get us some calamari though.

It is a 12-man, but Epic has really been hit hard from desertions/people leaving the game from what I can see. After that crapfest last night, jumped in a PUG for DD and ended up winning the helm.Really? Yah, we have more than 12 people who are ready for the Watcher, but the trick is getting everyone on on the same night. RL commitments and a group desertion. I'll send ya a PM with more info, not gonna name names, but there were a few old-timers plus a few new people. We are shooting for Thursdays or Sundays - when we have the people we are going in on the Watcher, and I have little doubt once we get back in there we'll take him down.Mad Cow said:

Oof books is another thing altogether. Done through 6 with Tare, but on 2.5.5 with the minst and 2.4.7 with the champ. These instances so far are teh suck. 2.5.5 really needs to be changed. 3 separate instances that, if you get them on the first try, still can take 2-3 hrs, is stupid.

Have you given any thought to getting a new account and trying out LOTRO again? You could get a guy to 50 then 60 fairly quick, and knowing everyone is on the grind now anyway, there would be no need to grind out the CD's/Rifts/Helegrods and skip right to Moria.

I did think about it when things were getting lame on Warhammer. But the guild here has gotten a newfound sense of purpose and I'm really all-in on Warhammer at the moment.I actually have my son's account which has a 37 champ on it.
