Antwan isn't exactly impressing with his goal line work.
The radio broadcasters just said Brown is only winded (slight leg contusion on left leg) -- he's OK, but resting on sideline. No worries guys, 'Twan isn't making a good case for being the goalline back.Geez.Why is Brown out?!!
My guess is because Brown just ran for 50 yards and needed a breather.Plus, Smith gained no favor with 2 negative yard rushes and a fumble. Why is Brown out?!!
The announcers said that he was winded and that they were checking out his leg b/c he landed on it "hard"
Yes, for many years, Mason has been the returner. Occassionally they try someone else, but usually go back to Mason.I hate it when my WR1 is fielding punts like this. :(Whats the reason Mason is out there? Has he always done that?
I'm listening via the radio. The sideline reporter said something like this:"Chris landed awkwardly on his left leg after the long run. They looked at it on the sideline and he said it was ok. He tried to stretch it out and they decided to just get him into the locker room to have xrays."thats all they said...Robert Holcombe is in at RB. Brown is nowhere to be seen.
What if said please? What is the URL for internet radio? Thanks
Never mind, just saw him show up on Gamecenter. For those watching: I realize the MIA offense is pretty much doing nothing, but has there even been a Randy McMichael sighting?
Listening to the game here as well... they said nothing about x-rays. But they did take him back to the lockerroom to "take a closer look".My guess is with 1min left in the quarter after a 52 yard run where he came down hard after 16 carries and 1 reception it was time for an extended breather.Oh yeah - 1 McMichael sighting.I'm listening via the radio.
The Tennessee radio announcers also speculated that they might have taken Brown in to get some IV fluids. Considering his workload during the first half, this is certainly reasonable as well. Take him back a little early, check out the leg, and get him ready for the second half. Sounds like a plan to me.
