Official MIA-TEN Game Thread (1 Viewer)

FYI Robert Holcombe was the lone RB on 3rd down (incomplete but PI on Reggie Howard)TD Mcnair to Erron Kinnoy

It seems that Chambers has been targeted 8 to 10 times. Are the passes that bad, coverage that good or is Chris dropping balls? Not able to watch the game so if anyone can help answer that would be great!

I hate it when my WR1 is fielding punts like this. :(Whats the reason Mason is out there? Has he always done that?
Yes, for many years, Mason has been the returner. Occassionally they try someone else, but usually go back to Mason.

Apparently they are checking Brown's ankle in the locker room. Holcombe in the backfield...Rain and Wind have increased.

CBrown taken to locker room to have left leg/ankle check out....just to be safe. It halftime, so hopefully no big deal.

LOL...

15 yard penalty on tennessee for roughness (the guy got shoved).

Announcer:

"You know, if you're going to get 15, you might as well take him down."

Gotta love that.

Robert Holcombe is in at RB. Brown is nowhere to be seen.
I'm listening via the radio. The sideline reporter said something like this:"Chris landed awkwardly on his left leg after the long run. They looked at it on the sideline and he said it was ok. He tried to stretch it out and they decided to just get him into the locker room to have xrays."thats all they said...

Hmmm is it time to grab Holcombe? Need some update news on Brown... Any thoughts on Holcombe for a RB3 or RB4(fill in)

Fiedler Stats for 1st half: CP/AT YDS TD INT J. Fiedler 5/13 42 0 2 Do you think we'll have a Feely sighting?

I think (hope) the proximity to half-time is why they brought him to the locker room. Take the extra few minutes and get him fully evaluated and ready. It would appear that Holcombe might be the backup choice for those in yardage-type leagues, eh?The amazing thing is that as bad as Miami's been, they're only down 7. Would you want to go to battle in overtime with Elling kicking the ball?!?Glad to see McMichael finally got a catch - have to say that Im' starting to regret not snagging Freddie Jones instead a little.-QG

Is CBS throwing it to the Miami game for nat'l coverage while the US Open is in a slump? The first match ended very early and the second match is delayed/not supposed to start for another hour.Tenn-Mia is at halftime, so it's 10 minutes before the second half starts anyway, but I just heard the announcers saying "after football, we'll bring you back to thew X v.X (can't remember who) match."

Listening to the game here as well... they said nothing about x-rays. But they did take him back to the lockerroom to "take a closer look".My guess is with 1min left in the quarter after a 52 yard run where he came down hard after 16 carries and 1 reception it was time for an extended breather.Oh yeah - 1 McMichael sighting.

McCareins handled MUCH of the kick-off / punt return duty last year. There was much made in training camp / pre-season about finding a replacement. They pretty much went through every "B" receiver, but I guess they have the most faith in Mason. It sucks as far as injuries are concerned, but you'll be pretty stoked if he returns one!!I think if Jake Schafino was healthier, he might be returning kicks. Not sure though.

The Tennessee radio announcers also speculated that they might have taken Brown in to get some IV fluids. Considering his workload during the first half, this is certainly reasonable as well. Take him back a little early, check out the leg, and get him ready for the second half. Sounds like a plan to me.

 Excellent. Thats what I am hoping for as well.

BROWN UPDATE* Xrays negative... Probable to Return*MORRIS UPDATE* Officially listed as questionable*

Coolness on Brown lets hope the Off. coordinator for Tenn was joking when he said Brown wouldnt come out unless he was dead :(
