I remember before December 1998 when a Viking loss meant a day of depression the day after for me..
Then on the 11th of December 1998 my Daughter was born.
Had the Vikings lost the NFC Title game in Jan. of 1998 like they did in Jan. of 1999 I am slightly concerned how I would have reacted..
But with my daughter being barely 1 month old, although :( that they lost the game, the way I looked at a Game changed and it didn't affect me as much as it would have a year earlier.
I still bleed
Purple.. have viking jackets, shirts and Jackets that I still wear proudly when I walk around my town in Wisconsin... have to duck the incoming insults, but that is half the fun
I cheer loudly and get

when they make a great play and go into a

when they F'Up..
But once the game is over it is over, and I don't let it affect my mood any more.. there is always next week, month, year.
