Was last nights Modern Family a repeat? The "last episode" on ABC's Modern Family website was the episode where CaMitchell were trying to choose who would best take care of Lily should anything happen to them. I thought that was last weeks episode and because of the bad weather, they did not show Modern Family.

I'm confused.

:goodposting:Last night was not a new episode. And I don't think major networks delay showing new episodes because it's raining in LA.

Thank you. I couldn't figure out how I was going to get the latest episode - but it was a repeat. The weather stations took over the networks in Atlanta around 9:00 last night as there were tornadoes everywhere.

can you think of a tv show that so effectively combines (in practically every episode) whimsy, cleverness, and heart like this one?

Off to a good start.
Second episode was better than the first by a mile...
Agreed. First episode seemed like they were trying waaaaaay too hard. I like the Philis line, but that was about it. Second episode seemed back to normal.

Genius putting Vergara on a horse...and what a lucky horse.
REAL genius would've been putting her on a horse wearing this
Just got back from a autograph session with Sophia Vergara at a Kmart in downtown Manhattan. We set up the stage and sound system. Man, she is so smokin, shorter and thinner than I expected. She wasn't thrilled to be there though and was pretty #####y backstage.

My friend's husband used to get him some Vergara on a regular basis for a while. Think it was like 6-8 years ago before she was anyone. Think he was like 25-26 at the time. Needless to say his wife is a bit annoyed seeing Vergara seemingly everywhere she looks.

Phil was killing it to start out the season. Not really something to be proud of but many of us middle aged guys can relate to his character.

Still love everything about this show outside Phil's character. I don't know what it is - not only has his character yet to grow on me, I think I hate him MORE than I used to.
This is so weird to me. I hated him at first but can't even comprehend not laughing at him now.
You're crazy - Phil is the star of the show.
Phil is (Phyllis) my favorite, too. I tell female Modern Family viewers that and get blank stares. They all love Cam.

Cracked me up when Phil popped his head out of the attic. :lmao:

Surprise surprise....First season Cam was funny. Second season I found him really whiny and annoying.

That was some good stuff. This is, by far, the most consistently funny show on TV.

The basketball+head stuff was awesome. And David Cross as the head of the traffic committee was hilarious.

Any show that features "Slow Donnie" is doing a good job.
