The previous games mean NOTHING!!!! This is the PLAYOFFS.

People on this thread are talking like the Seahawks are unbeatable at home. SF has recently beaten Atlanta in an NFCCG last year, Green Bay in a cold-weather game, and a decent Carlolina team (12-4), all on the road.

If the 9ers can load the box and limit Lynch I don't see Golden Tate or anyone else in Seattle's WR corps making many plays. I do, however, see Boldin, Crabtree or Davis making plays for SF. They have just too much talent on offense along with Kaepernick's running ability.
Previous games do matter. SF should have spanked GB and didn't. Boldin and Crabtree have done nothing against Seattle on the road. Davis plays like #### against Seattle, because Chancellor owns him.

I hope SF sleeps on Tate, he will own them if they focus on Lynch.

Previous games - oh right - like Carolina beating SF in the regular season, right? How'd that work out for them in the playoffs?

Green Bay...Yeah well...Games played in sub-zero wind chill conditions are usually low-scoring. A win's a win - right bro?

Fact is against New Orleans a 2nd-string RB (Ivory) gashed Seattle's run D. Expect more of the same from Gore & co., except that SF will finish their drives with points, not turnovers.

Gameday is here.

My predictions:

Niners 22

Seahawks 19

Gore 125 yds 2 tds

Kap 185 yds 0 td 1 int 70 yds rushing

Wilson 250 yds 1 td 2 ints 50 yds rushing

Lynch 60 yds 0 tds

All the NFL fans that don't pay much attention to the Seahawks and Russel Wilson I think are going to be "introduced" to the greatness of Russel Wilson. I believe he is going to be asked to win the game tomorrow for the Hawks and I believe he is going to answer the call. Fans, such as the one in New York who posted earlier that "he doesn't follow the Hawks" are going to be suprised that Russel is a leader of men and he is clutch. Seahawks 24-23

If you've got the Niners scoring 13, why would Wilson be asked to win the game?ETA: wouldn't that be more on the defense/special teams?

Thanks for pointing that out. It was a mis-print. I meant to say 24-23. I fixed it. Thank you for pointing that out.

Most are 49ers fans FWIW.
Eh, not just 49ers fans. But not just Seattle fans either, certainly. It's an easy angle for the sports media to grab onto. And the fact is they are damned tough at home. Not unbeatable, but damned tough.

For me personally, I didn't need to see the loss to Arizona to see a ***** in the armor. For me it came earlier with the overtime squeaker against Tampa Bay. I mean, if the Bucs can take you to the wire at home, then obviously you can be beaten. I'm not saying you're not tough at home, because you are, but clearly it can be done.

You lost all accountability when you stated that Ivory gashed Seattle's D. Ivory plays for the Jets not the Saints. There is a huge difference between SF losing to CAR by 1 point and losing to Seattle 71-16 in the last two Sea home games.

Seattle owns SF at home. Enjoy the game bro.

I like the two game sample size everybody is laying on.
Right? Last year Kaep was pretty green...this year, no Crabtree...if anyone has watched SF recently they know the 49ers are more dangerous since Crab came back...and playoffs mean Kaep has a green light to run...with 3 legit receiving threats, you can't cover them all AND keep Kaep contained. This game is gonna be a whole different ball of wax.SF is the hottest team left in the tournament...I hope the Seahawks are sleeping on them like their fans are (won't happen, but yall get my point).

Now, we wait...
Really, the biggest news all week has been that Harvin will be ready for the Super Bowl.
Yup. I say we crown the Hawks right now.BTW Seattle scored since my last prediction.

Harbaugh has won in SEA, and Nolan with Alex Smith and JT O'Sullivan has won in SEA lol. Singletary and Erickson are the only recent HC's who hadn't won in SEA with they in the division. Mooch won in SEA as well.

The "12th Man" lulz. Didn't stop JTO playing better than Hasselsack on September 14th, 2008. Oh wait! That was over 3 years ago, so Squawk fans don't remember it.

Lmao. I just got done working. Sober as a judge. But thanks for the laugh!
I just got off a gig myself. I don't drink on gigs, so SnottyMaw is frothing over nothing.
Its 6am where I'm at...gonna try to get some sleep...noon comes quick.

Warren Moon is the only HOF QB the Seahawks have, and he only played 2 seasons in SEA.

The 49ers have 3 HOF QB's:

Tittle for 10 seasons.

Montana

Young

You live in FLA right. Lol, SnottyMaw has the audacity of pulling the "early drink on" when you have better strip clubs than the ####holes of SEA, where you can't get within 15 feet of a skanky pole dancer. No wonder they pull chub over a mediocre franchise of a football team.

Oh joy, first you play the ITS card, then the "I root for a team that had a better quarterback 25 years ago than the quarter back that played for the team you root for card". Pretty spiffy on ya.

I was impressed at how SF went from a below zero road playoff game one week to an early east coast playoff game (typically trouble for west coast teams) the next and looked so sharp. I'm just hoping all the traveling will catch up to them, coming up is the 5th road game in 6 weeks for them.

You embarrassed yet ItS?

I'll tell you what, you can have Montana, (though his wife is Beastmode's) and Young, and your Rules of Home Field Advantage How to Cheer Cheat Sheet, I will keep Moon, and above all my PRIDE in that I don't need some Public Service Announcement on how to cheer, when to cheer, what to wear and when to sit and stand in my seat. Seems fair to me. Oh and of course Nancy Pelosi, you keep her too, she is your number 1 fan of course. She still thinks Montana is the quarterback for goodness sakes.

Like we would trade the retired jerseys of Montana, Tittle, Brodie, Young, Rice, St. Clair, Lott, McElhenny, Perry, Nomellini, Johnson, Clark, and Krueger for a 12th man, lol.

This in a nutshell is why I think the 49ers will never win another Superbowl. Too happy living in the past. You'd prefer ghosts of the game who have no influence whatsoever to a force which will cause false starts, delay of games, timeouts, and hamper the opposing defense the entire game.

You have to have a past to be something other than the Jaguars.
