Well you know what mama says. The old thread was archived so I decided to start a new one.
You know a "sport" is stupid when the first point is scored with 25 minutes (or more) left in the game and the announcers start talking like the game is over.
Dude you are so hard core. The old thread was archived so I decided to start a new one.

Now imagine watching that same game over in Portugal or SpainI am currently in London and soccer is all anyone is talking about over here. In a bar last night watching the Portugal-Spain game and the place was going nuts. Not a soccer fan but it was awesome atmosphere.
I will be in Barcelona next week when they play Moraco I believe. We will definitely watch at a bar with the locals. Now imagine watching that same game over in Portugal or Spain![]()
Awesome game by the way.![]()
you probably already know this but there are many in Barcelona who do not support the Spanish National Team (because of the Catalan's wanting their independence).I will be in Barcelona next week when they play Moraco I believe. We will definitely watch at a bar with the locals.
You do gotta love the commercials on who the US should support though? Am I right? The old thread was archived so I decided to start a new one.

Finally some reason in here. You do gotta love the commercials on who the US should support though? Am I right?
you do realize you said that to a soccer fan right? Finally some reason in here.
Lol yeah, but I can appreciate when someone points out the positives. If they're legitimate, that is.you do realize you said that to a soccer fan right?

Thanks, I had no idea.you probably already know this but there are many in Barcelona who do not support the Spanish National Team (because of the Catalan's wanting their independence).
But even saying that you should find some fun bars I bet.
I'm not shocked by this at all.I am currently in London and soccer is all anyone is talking about over here. In a bar last night watching the Portugal-Spain game and the place was going nuts. Not a soccer fan but it was awesome atmosphere.
We were fortunate enough to be visiting Spain during their 2012 Euro title run. We were in a different city for the quarters, semi's and final (Barcelona, Madrid and Sevilla). One of my daughters and I are big soccer fans. My wife and other daughter couldn't care less. But we were obviously foreigners rooting for Spain and the locals were extremely welcoming. We were given free tapas and drinks in all 3 bars. I'd highly recommend watching in a local bar. Great atmosphere.I will be in Barcelona next week when they play Moraco I believe. Well the drunk bar girl in yoga pants is a sport we care about.I am currently in London and soccer is all anyone is talking about over here. In a bar last night watching the Portugal-Spain game and the place was going nuts. Not a soccer fan but it was awesome atmosphere.
It’s more how it’s shoved down your throat by every media outlet this time of yearNot a soccer guy myself. That said, I’ve never understood the need to tell everyone how much you hate something. Sorry that the most popular sport in the world isn’t your cup of tea.
Don’t worry I have heard that they have recognized your complaint and will tone down the coverage next year. It’s more how it’s shoved down your throat by every media outlet this time of year
cute game for the little ones though
C’mon man. This is no different than any other major sporting event. Remember last year when the Super Bowl came and went and you forgot it was even on?It’s more how it’s shoved down your throat by every media outlet this time of year
cute game for the little ones though
Start your own thread pal.I hate Kent Hrbek and Fran Tarkenton
I'm offended. Now, I'm going to flop on the ground, writhing in pain until you get a red card. The old thread was archived so I decided to start a new one.

Or your second yellow in as many games, causing you to miss a thread.I'm offended. Now, I'm going to flop on the ground, writhing in pain until you get a red card.
I was in Barcelona in 2010 when Spain won the World Cup vs. Netherlands. My wife, son and I were in the square with >100,000 people and it was absolutely crazy. Would have been so much more fun if he wasn't 5 years old and we weren't flying back home the next morning, but still pretty epic.We were fortunate enough to be visiting Spain during their 2012 Euro title run. I gotta admit, I would watch this.I'm offended. Now, I'm going to flop on the ground, writhing in pain until you get a red card.
If they were bought, it was in favor of Colombia...I was actually in Bogota when Colombia played against Brazil in the quarter-finals in 2014, and watched the game with a few hundred of my closest friends. The referees were obviously bought, or maybe because Brazil was hosting they were given the benefit of the doubt on several important occasions.
Will be in Colombia again in 2-3 weeks during the first couple of games of the knockout rounds. I assume Colombia will make it that far so hopefully I'll get to watch a game or two while there.
Watched the game last week and the typical racist American who reffed the game screwed Colombia.I was actually in Bogota when Colombia played against Brazil in the quarter-finals in 2014, and watched the game with a few hundred of my closest friends.
