Conforto hits two line drives, and his most productive out is a strikeout that bounces away from Montero. Baseball's a strange game.

Love that Wright's hitting, absolutely love this team. I'm at the point where I almost don't even mention Murph hitting a home run, because it's expected.

One of the key underrated plays was Murph getting to third on the hit/error off the bat of Cespedes that Schwarber dropped. If Murph didn't go to third, You would have had to stay at 1st, and Duda's grounder would have been a DP. Instead, it scored a run. Love it.

 
We knew the Mets would be in good shape for the next few years with their young SP's.

Never in a million years did I think it would happen as early as this year.

Up 3-0 in the NLCS - still worried they will find a way to somehow blow this. But that's just life as a Mets fan.

Sorry guys....I'm converted. I'm not walking around on eggshells expecting the worst anymore.

The Mets are the better team. This is our series. With this staff it's almost impossible to lose 3 games in a row.

This is a very good assembled team and even better built for a playoff series.

Enjoy it....and for next series.....Let's walk around like we expect we can win every.single.game.the.Mets. play!

Because they can.

 
Yep. I have supreme confidence we are going to the World Series.

Now, I still think we are an underdog to the royals and I won't be too disappointed if we lose to them. That's a heck of a baseball team and it'd be hard to call it a letdown.

When he stood in there I thought two things.

1. Well, I guess this is where he has to hit it. And he prob somehow will? Which is ridiculous to think. But it would be ridiculous NOT to think that.

2. With the 6-1 lead, no reason he can't zone in for one thing and one thing alone - a HR cut. He got it - and not a wrigley HR (I don't think? Seemed mostly to center - not a cheapy for sure!)

Just ####### wow.
