**OFFICIAL** Packers vs Saints (1 Viewer)

Amazing they didn't give it to Ingram on that earlier fourth, but with the game literally on the line, they did. Poor blocking there though, they sold out on that play and stuffed him.

I thought the Hawk PI was a BS call.

And if you've got one play with the game on the line, I don't know how you take the ball out of Brees' hands. Screw down/distance.

Can't say Ingram looks like anything special.
This is sig worthy.Talk to me by week 8. His OL was owned he had no shot. And he will be a great NFL RB.Great opener. Football is back boys!!!!
Ingram is a bust
Trolling is lame. If you're serious...being an idiot is lame.
I thought he was going to be a bust before he stepped on the field tonight.

Good for you. Tonight does not confirm that at all though.

Are all of your posts a nun slap on the wrist or is that just tonight?
Just tonight, apparently. :)

Green Bay is a gonna be this decades Colts. Divison winners every year, #1 or #2 seed consistently. Its clear Rodgers is already more clutch than Peyton. Anything can happen in the playoffs, but theyll be favorites for awhile.
How come they did not win the division last year then?

How did they lose to the Lions then last year and had to back into the playoffs thanks the Giants melting down against the Eagles? It must be because every team does not have a D as bad as the Saints. The same Saints who let the mighty 8-8 Seahawks and that juggernaut offense score 40+ on them in a playoff game....yup. Championship for the Saints again because who needs defense when it matters! :banned:

I realize this hasn't gotten a lot fo play in the media so I'll forgive you for not being aware, but the Packers sustained a fair number of injuries last year, to many of their star players.

Yeah...I feel so bad that they didn't win the division last year.Instead, they won the freaking Super Bowl. How is that division title for the Bears last year taste after watching GB beat them on their own field?

Pretty hard to judge either teams D tonight. Both team has a top 5 offense that will move the ball against any team. Both have weapons all over the place and just have to pick the matchup to exploit.

Saints got down early by man to man defense not holding up. Rodgers and Jennings ate up Patrick Robinson early on to set up the lead,

, thi

Was good to see other players put pressure on the QB besides Clay Matthews, this will be needed over the season.

Anyone think Rodgers' postgame comments were a bit much? Seemed smarmy and definitely unnecessary.
Didn't think anything he said was smarmy...care to elaborate what you thought was so bad?
The stuff about not practicing and they couldn't have played better.. only direct quotes would do it justice and I can't find them now. Maybe a transcript will be available tomorrow :coffee:
I think he was tired of the questions of not practicing and how he felt those practices were overrated and some made a big deal that the Saints would have this huge advantage because they practiced so much together.I think he was putting to bed the notion that the Packers should have done it and needed it and their play early in that game showed it.

In a word: no.Cheesehead TV: Rodgers has a little Michael Jordan in him

He's done this before. He will use any slight against him as motivation. He was harassed all off-season about not holding team workouts. He just proved them wrong.
Whenever anyone says the truth or responds to haters, they are the ones getting hated on back when they respond.ARod should of been a little Harsher to them, infact I would of said nothing else during the postgame interviews except "Maybe we would of did better if we had off season work outs."

As a member of the media and a Saints fan, I assure you, ARod gets mad props from me for tossing it back at a media who thrives on their own storylines.

They wanted one by talking about offseason workouts after the man wins a SB, ARod has every right to shut them up...AGAIN.

I hate the thinking a person has when they say people should not talk smack. You dont wanna hear smack, dont give a reason to have smack thrown at you.

News to Media, ARods play is way above and beyond any critizism from any of you. If he throws 4 picks next week, he still should not have to hear from any of you about his play.

Fair enough. I'm sure he was tired of the questions and wanted to take a jab.

As for the game, it may be time for the Saints to find a WR that can actually get open. The talent gap between the Packers WRs and Saints WRs was staggering.
