***Official*** Parks and Recreation Thread (1 Viewer)

Those were two great episodes. I'm going to miss April Ludgate. Whenever she looks into the camera its hilarious.

Thought by now April and Andy would be preggo. I guess Ann will be on next week.

Several members of the Parks and Recreation cast will be on Late Night With Seth Myers on Tuesday 2/24, the night of the series finale.

No idea who will be there and who won't. But the show will be built around celebrating P&R.

Making waffles and bacon for dinner tonight.

Figured pairing Leslie's favorite food with Ron's favorite food was a fitting tribute on one last hang with the Pawnee P&R staff and alumni.

Feels like the end of an era tonight. Office/30 Rock/parks was such an outstanding trio of comedy.

Enjoyed the way they did it by showing each character in the future. Not an issue with any of the stories.

Enough laughs to make a good finale. Sad to see it go although it was a fun ride. Aubrey dressed as Daria was funny. Some other inside jokes that got brought back up were good to see again. Ann was kind of anti-climatic but good to see her as well.

What is the best Mockumentary comedy out there now? Can't think of one.

Whatever Aubrey is in, I will watch.

:goodposting:

The look she gave the camera when Ann was back was great.

Awesome series finale. Very well done.

One of the best series finales I can remember. Other than the first couple of episodes when Ron and Leslie were fighting, I thought the whole last season was excellent.

Outstanding finale. Very few shows are as consistently great as this one was. Really smart, funny and perfect finale.

And Amy Poehler is hot.

Cast was on Seth Meyers last night talking about the show and finale.

Chris Pratt said he wished they had added a line or two sharing the cause of death of each character. He imagines Andy dies from being left in a hot car with the windows rolled up.

I don't know how the hell this one flew under the radar (or maybe everyone knew, I just didn't), but Netflix is putting out a Season 7 in a couple of weeks.

Um, season 7 is what aired on NBC this past year.
D'oh..now I know why this flew under the radar.
Another chance to watch the Johnny Karate Super Awesome Musical Explosion Show

Worth it as an excuse to revisit the show's whole run. Well, most of it. On my last rewatch I picked up the action late in Season 2, right before Chris and Ben are dispatched to Pawnee. Ron's day of 94 meetings and the diabetes telethon are great appetizers right before the show hits its big ascent.

Man... what a good show. Can't believe I missed it when it ran.

Had a lot of down time over the holidays and binge watched... a lot. I think I'm in season 4.

Love it.

I watched the "Ron & Jammy" episode last night. Jam was an awesome character, him and Poehler worked really well off each other.

Good to hear. Season 3 main themes: Chris and Ben try to fix the Pawnee government departments, Leslie brings back the Harvest Festival to boost Pawnee's economy, April and Andy's romance

Season 4: Leslie runs for city council, Tom leaves P&R to start a marketing and promotions company, Leslie and Ben's romance

City council election night is the Season 4 finale.

Yeah I'm in the middle of Leslie Knope vs. Bobby Newport.

So good.

And I love anything that Aziz Ansari does or says in any capacity. His style, cadence, and delivery is spot on for my sense of humor.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of Ansari, but when he delivered the "Apps and Zerts" speech in Season 3, I was on board.

Tom and Jean-Ralphio's run at Entertainment 720 is one of my favorite arcs of the whole series.

Jean-Ralphio is my favorite non-P&R employee character, but I agree with the praise of Jon Glaser's work as Jeremy Jamm. In a town with a plethora of sleaze (Dennis Feinstein, Ira & The #####, any regular patron of the Snake Hole, the Saperstein siblings, the pawn shop owner whose name escapes me but haunts my dreams), Jamm stands out as an extraordinary sleazeball.
