I have an XM INNO and it has recording capability.I planned on listening at 7 on Wednesday. How did you record from Sirius.
$77.50 iircMan, I've been out of the loop with Lightning Bolt...Crazy Work schedule and then a debilitating flu have had me oblivious to most of the outside world Since Labor Day. Haven't even heard the new album. Going to try and rectify that tonight. Still ticketless for either Bk show, and as crappy as I feel right now, I am really glad it wasn't THIS weekend. Looks like I'd be dropping about $200 for an upper single via StubHub. Not really in a position to do that. What was face on this tour? If you NYC guys know anyone with an extra, hit me up via PM. Otherwise it looks like I may be Missing PJ in NYC for the first time in a while. Which is far from the worst thing in the world.
They often put the lights on for the last 1-2 songs of the night...think it's pretty cool to see the whole place going nutsThat set list looks pretty accurate. They put the lights on for the last 2 songs which was weird.
The woman didn't go into labor, so middle name of Vedder or Pearl isn't happening. O well. At least I can tell my child they wilded out inside their mom's stomach right before they were born.
Crowd went a little too crazy for Grilli. I'm a Bucs fan but PJ hasn't been there since 07 maybe 06, that should be enough to go crazy for 3 hours.
Yeah. Oct. 29 & 30 can't come soon enough. Here's a good recording (sound is good, not video) of Sirens

I appreciate the fact that people there go to the trouble of relaying for those of us not there, but generally, I agree with you. I rarely, if ever, have my phone out during concert.I was just following the Buffalo show at PJ website. It seems like there are people who spend a LOT of the show updating on their phones. That seems really odd to me. No way I spend any time at a PJ concert texting anything.
It does sound like Buffalo got one hell of a show!!!!!!!

Now that thread seems to be gone. Do they kill those when the show is over? It has been replaced with the set list and two pages of reviews. Last night it was well past 25 pages.I appreciate the fact that people there go to the trouble of relaying for those of us not there, but generally, I agree with you. Very Important Correct BalanceTMWhat time have they been going on? 8:15 or so. Have tickets to Barclays on the 18th and want to make sure I am there on time and also have had the proper amount of alcohol before entering. Just to figure out the very important correct balance.
Always take a pee break during evenflow. Usually Mike will be halfway through his solo by the time I go pee, get another beer, make a phone call.- Even Flow placed perfectly for my urine to flow.

Trout! Glad you are getting a close show. None for me this time. Hope y'all are doing well.Always take a pee break during evenflow. Usually Mike will be halfway through his solo by the time I go pee, get another beer, make a phone call.- Even Flow placed perfectly for my urine to flow.
Going to see them In Charlotte. I don't think I will ever invest as much time and money seeing them in far-off places as I did a few years back. But still looking forward to the show, and to listening to the new album (waiting for the vinyl to get here).
i think the stone article above says 4-5 songs are from the backspacer sessionsFinally got through my first listen today. I hadn't heard anything other than Mind Your Manners and Sirens previously, so most of it was new. Defeinitely not what I expected. I heard some comments that it was going to sound a lot more like old Pearl Jam, and I definitely do not hear that. What I identify with classic PJ is the emotions it can extract from you when you listen. With a couple of exceptions, there isn't much of that here (but, ftr, I haven't read through the lyrics so I guess that could change). The music, I think, is a continuation of Backspacer. I don't get a sense of "going back to the old formula" vibe from this album, but just an extension of the timeline of their ever changing sound.
I read it as only one song actually dated from Backspacer. Regardless, it does sound like they just keep making and working on music continually even if there is a long lag between records.i think the stone article above says 4-5 songs are from the backspacer sessionsFinally got through my first listen today. What date is CLT?Slapdash said:So the girlfriend is going to have to travel for work so I am going to part with her ticket. Figured I'd check if any FBGs is interested before offering it (or both) on Stubhub. This is the Charlotte show, upper level (206).
Shoot a PM if interested.

I think "old" maybe might mean Yield and not necessarily Ten or Vs.Finally got through my first listen today. I sense some of that. Both of those were solid live also. Yellow Moon was nice too. Was shocked they didn't play Getaway either night...thought it was a lock for Buffalo.I think "old" maybe might mean Yield and not necessarily Ten or Vs.Finally got through my first listen today. Like all new PJ albums, it definitely grows with time. Been listening consistently for the past week. Swallowed Whole and Lightning Bolt are going to be great live
Yep, new PJ always takes a while to grow on me, but after only a couple of listens there are already a few that I really dig. I have to do my traditional sit down and listen through while reading the lyrics so I can get into it past just the sound. Sirens is the only one I've listened to enough to know many of the lyrics, and it is the early favorite (though I know it is also the song I will get sick of first).I think "old" maybe might mean Yield and not necessarily Ten or Vs.Finally got through my first listen today.
