Sorry for the weird poll formatting - only allowed 4 questions.

PLEASE CHOOSE 2 PER QUESTION. ONE FOR EACH DIVISION.

No one likes the Card, Browns, Colts, or Dolphins, huh? 3 of the 4 with rookie QBs likely to start at some point in the season.

I think the rule is 2 playoff teams per conference miss the playoffs the next year.

AFCE: Patriots

AFCN: Steelers

AFCS: Texans

AFCW: Chargers

Wild cards: Chiefs, Jets.

Peyton Manning turns out to be too old and ineffective, and the Broncos implode. Rivers has a huge year and wins comeback player of the year. WR Eddie Royal becomes his needed safety blanket. Ravens and Bengals stumble. Raiders are a mess again with new coaches and new schemes and won't get it sorted out in 2012. Chiefs win 6 of their last 8 games and sneak in.

NFCE: Eagles

NFCN: Packers

NFCS: Panthers

NFCW: 49ers

Wild Cards: Lions, Saints

Giants miss the playoff outright. They got a tough schedule and the NFC is very competitive. I only think one team comes out of the East and its the Eagles. The Eagles get the Lions and Cardinals where the Giants get the 49ers and Packers. So I call it now, Giants miss.

Super Bowl 47: Packers over Chargers

You must be a chargers fan. You know the comeback player of the year award is a player who has overcome diversity, a serious injury, or played poorly and turned it around drastically (It's usually the injured/out of the league thing). Rivers threw for 4,700 yards last year... he'd need probably 7,000 to be in the running for that award.

Diversity seems like a very big thing to overcome.

2012 - "The Year of Goodell's Wrath"

When the Saints somehow start the year 2-0, King Roger I is not pleased. Additional fines rain down, including one of Tom Benson for "Dirty Dancing" on the sidelines after the opener. The Saints eventually fold under the pressure, leaving room for "Clean-Cut Cam" Newton and the Panthers to win the NFC South.

When the cap-strapped Redskins waddle out to 4-2 under electrifying rookie Robert Griffin III, we find out that bounties CAN be all right, as long as they are paid from the royal purse. King Roger advises opposing warriors to "go low", and RGIII is done with an ACL by mid-season and the Skins slide back to a familiar 6-10. Since the Giants won the division last year, it is the turn of the other royally-approved team, the Eagles, to win.

The Packers and Niners cruise, and eventualy meet in the NFC championship, sending Green Bay back to the Super Bowl.

The Broncos and Jets each win their division - the Jets in the second occurrence of divine intervention that will come to be known as the "Tebow Effect" in years to come. The uber-motivated Peyton Manning rips through the regular season but finally comes up short against the Jets, who re-discover the fact that it's a lot easier to play good defense if you rush the passer. The Texans waltz through the AFC South, easily the worst division in the conference, while Baltimore finds their window closing and falls to Pittsburgh, restocked through an amazingly successful draft. The Steelers ride a revitalized running attack to the AFC Championship.

Since two royally approved franchises have succeeded to the Super Bowl, King Roger decrees an entertaining event, which Green Bay wins 38-35.
