Punk is just light years above everyone for the past 2 years it is sick. I had the pleasure to see him come up through the "really" minor leagues in Wisconsin years ago. Some dump in West Allis, WI (Please don't ask about this "suburb") They had to duck their heads when they jumped off the top rope, and there was maybe 150 people in the crowd. Mid-American Wrestling. Violent, crazy, stuff. He killed it then. It was just a beer hall with fold up chairs. When the action went outside, they would tell you to "MOVE" or risk consequences. Me and group of 6 were front-row guys every other week. $3 beers, good ####### times.

He is awesome. Feel like they're missing a potential legendary feud in Punk vs Bryan because they don't have "the look" Vince and Triple H drool over. Let's be honest, who would deliver better matches right now, Punk-Bryan or Cena-Orton....and I like Orton.

Orton is pretty drab these days. And yes, I've been a fan of his for years. I just wish WWE would push middleweights, the same way they do muscle bound meatheads. The rasslin world would be a better place.

Think about it, some of the best ever have been: Jericho, Van Dam, Angle, Punk, Hitman Hart, HBK, Benoit, Eddie G, and I could go on all day.

For those that are podcast consumers, it would be worth your time to check out the first few episodes of "Talk Is Jericho". His first two shows are with Steve Austin and is a great discussion about wrestling history and behind the scenes of the industry. Austin talking about WCCW was worth my time alone. His next two shows are with Edge, and they have been very enjoyable as well. The first hour was Edge telling stories before he even got to the WWE.

I feel like tonight's raw needs a lot of hyping for the Rumble. Basically Batistia or Bryan is winning it unless some random entries come

The two part interview with Bret Hart is equally as entertaining. The best part in my opinion, is that while Austin and Edge talked about things like putting on a good show, telling an interesting story, being a good worker, etc, Hart was and is still clearly focused on the wins and losses first and foremost. If you take a drink every time he talks about how "over" he was, or how many wins he had or how he refused to lose to someone, you will be smashed by the end of the interview.

It's still real to him!!

 
I like del rio. Reminds me of the guys in the 80's like dusty Rhodes and the Anderson's who didn't have a lot of shtick or "special" moves but still put on a good show.

Agreed. Plus I have a soft spot for Del Rio because I liked his old man, Dos Caras. The guy did some submission moves and pinning combinations that I've never seen duplicated.

 
It may sound weird, but Batista's intro is my favorite since Ultimate Warrior. But, those ####ing jeans are killing me.. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

 
I think this network is going to be gold for them. Maybe this truly becomes a disruptor for the current cable TV model?

I never got why superstars can't show up to work on time. Classic crutch in the Attitude Era. Even the nWo during their heyday had a better on-time rate than the likes of Austin.

Part 2 would have been a lot better w/o the audio issues. :angry: Had to bail after a few minutes.

Austin/Jericho/Cornette/Colt Cabana podcasts are all pretty good.
