I don't know, watching the first couple of videos, it looks like he just hit the ropes wrong after that kick by Rey. Just a freak accident,

The ropes were what killed him. What is unclear is if he was in trouble earlier. Some are saying he took a bad fall out of the ring before the Rey dropkick, but Perro still had the awareness to hit the ropes to set up Rey's 619. Either his first contact with the ropes or Manik's bouncing into them done him in. Perro was moving a bit before Manik fell next to him, and then he stopped altogether.

That's important...so many people want NXT guys to move up and be in top of the card spots...Enzo/Cass and the Vaudevillans are huge in NXT. They are comedy relief on the main roster. That's fine with me...the main roster really needs a good shot of comedy (especially if Miz/Dow break up at Mania), but I don't want to hear people complaining about them being held back. The comedy team role is important...I hope these guys embrace it if they are promoted.

Long term, I can see Cass getting over as a singles act if he refines his in-ring work a bit and watches the carbs. Big guys with personality will always get chances in Vinceworld.

Totally agree with the Outlaws comparison. Though, I actually think Enzo is much better on the mic, when he gets away from the sing-a-long parts, and gets opponent specific.

On the earlier point, comedy acts have their place for sure, but they should still have some success. I mean Miz/Mizdow has probably been the #1 tag team of the last 6 months. Santino, I think, held every title except the world title(even the women's one)

As far as "NXT guys"? They have a good mix of core, up and coming guys and the women are really good. They do mix it up, but, they seem to have nobodies as well.

Look for any of the NXT "Takeovers". They were all excellent and their version of a PPV. All the big names (NXT wise) are on them. Highly recommend.

ETA: A lot of us dorks thought these shows were 10x better than whatever the main roster has put out lately.

Dream scenario: Put NXT in Smackdown slot. Ship about 7-8 main roster guys over there to fill the NXT roster. Forget developmental, these guys are mostly vets that can carry their own brand.

How I would run with the WWE title until WM 32:

• Lesnar goes over Reigns at WM by submission. Reigns looks defeated but also a bit confused. Michael Cole is losing his #### and talking Inside Baseball as the PPV fades to black "What just happened?!?! That isn't what was supposed to happen!! Lesnar is still champ??" Heyman comes out on RAW the next Monday and cuts a typical stellar promo, "The WWE doesn't decide who holds the WWE title, Brock Lesnar decides who is champion and will remain that way until he decides he doesn't want it anymore. Now if you will excuse me, my client has other things to do. It's announced later in the show via Twitter that Lesnar has signed with UFC.

• Lesnar isn't on TV for the month and no-shows Extreme Rules. WWE is focused on the IC (champ Bryan) and US (champ Cena) titles. One of them is defended each week on RAW as the company tries to prop up both titles. After the PPV, Heyman comes out and asks for the WWE to decide their best and Lesnar will defend at Payback. But the WWE better send their best. Reigns goes over Rusev in the finals of a Number One contender tournament and faces Lesnar at Payback where is loses again by tapping out. Heyman comes out on RAW that Monday, claims the WWE is a joke and Lesnar is going to take the belt and go "home" meaning the UFC. Lesnar has a UFC fight (which hopefully he dominates for the storyline's sake) and completely skips the next two PPVs. We start to see Triple H get concerned about getting the title back. His comments toe the line between work and shoot.

• A month before SummerSlam we see a dominate IC Champ Daniel Bryan to start calling out Lesnar after matches, claiming he never lost the title, he's a true defending champion, etc. Heyman comes out, cuts a promo on Bryan and accepts the challenge. Triple H drops his feud with Bryan and gets The Authority behind him 100 percent, a "this is bigger than us" mindset. HHH is Bryan's second at the match, and after a 5-star match, Lesnar makes Bryan submit. Show ends with Lesnar looking down at HHH holding up the belt and laughing.

• In a huge slap to the WWE, Lesnar does not defend at "Night Of Champions", competing in a UFC fight instead. At the PPV, HHH takes the ring alone and cuts an amazing promo on how important the company is to him, how important that belt is to him, and how for over a year now Lesnar has been the beast that the WWE can control. And now it's up to HHH to tame Lesnar, "in the match HHH made famous, Hell In A Cell". We get a month of montages showing past HHH HIAC matches along with all of the training HHH is currently doing. In a grueling match where both guys bleed, Lesnar gets the win. Standing in the ring over a defeated HHH with a crying Steph and dejected Vince looking on, Heyman stands with a blooded Lesnar and talks how "this man has conquered both the WWE and the UFC, like no one else, and therefore no one can defeat him.

• No Lesnar or Heyman for Survivor Series or TLC. HHH is a beaten man. Vince just looks at him and says, "do whatever it takes to get it back. Whatever it takes." Royal Rumble comes to Chicago and Lesnar and Heyman are sitting front row for the Rumble match to decide who goes to WM. WWE pulls out all the stops in the match. Both IC and US champs compete even though they had matches earlier in the night, HHH enters the match, The Rock enters late to try and get the spot. There are no gimmick spots this year, it's all about getting that WWE title back home. At number 30, "Cult Of Personality" blares on the PA and CM Punk in his full MMA gear (and hopefully a 2-0 UFC record) comes through the curtain. Chicago comes off the hinges. "Whatever it takes" mouths HHH to Lesnar. Punk wins the Rumble and gets his WM main event against Lesnar.

Let's drive you to Stamford, plop you on their front door and get a movement going.....

It is nice to dream, but it is a pretty even bet Rollins cashes in the MITB at WM.

Now the above scenario could still hold if Lesnar beats Reigns in a grueling slugfest. Rollins comes out hoping to cash in on a weakened Lesnar, and Lesnar

fends him off and beats him. The only problem with this scenario is this would effectively bury Reigns and I am not sure what they could do with his character after this.

That was actually the exact scenario I had typed out in the first draft that I accidentally deleted.

I would hope not to bury Reigns (and Rollins), instead you are lifting Lesnar above the entire company. I would expect Rollins and Reigns to be huge players all year long with the IC and US titles, even getting to their feud that needs to happen at some point.

I agree with not burying Reigns/Rollins, but I truly think Lesnar IS above the entire company at this point. This is the one thing WWE got right the past year, in building up Brock to be a beast. It's just been well executed.

Just seems like the "Road to Wrestlemania" has been dragging on and on and on. It's really bad when the top portion of your card depends on a 55 year old that's not wrestled in almost 15 months, a nearly 50 year old that's not wrestled in a year, and a mid 40s HHH thats not wrestled in almost a year. W/o the streak, the Taker isn't a draw. Unless they put Bray over huge here, I don't see the purpose in that match.

Agreed 100%, especially about the Taker match.

I am looking forward to the IC title match, the build has been meh, but like 60% of the people I root for are in that match.

Rollins /Orton should be a good match, but its got nothing on the line, so its probably the curtain jerker.

Dud ending after a really great episode of RAW.

• Sting and Steph in the ring
• Dolph/DBryan and Nikki/Paige were PPV quality matches.
• Wyatt went to a new level, and I LOVE the touch of him stealing Taker's lightning gimmick.
• Rusev looked incredible. I really enjoy that he talks smack throughout his matches now.

I really think Wrestlemania is going to be a ton of fun.

I give him credit for carrying an entire program on his own for seemingly months. I got to admit I'm glad it's coming to an end this Sunday.

It would be no knock against Wyatt if he loses. Rather, I'd really love to see Taker win on Sunday and then face Brock next year as his retirement match in Dallas. The opportunity for him to avenge his only WM loss would be incredible.
