Brock staying with the company has me excited about the Main Event more than I thought it would. You have to think that Vince knew he could get the Internet Smarks back somewhat with that move. I wonder how much he paid for that warm fuzzy.

So, if the idea is to turn Reigns heel, and Lesnar face, could it be possible to reform the Shield as a way of doing it? If I could sort of fantasy book this for a minute...

Have Rollins beat Orton clean, and then post match announce that he's unbeatable tonight and basically call his shot that he is cashing in at the end of the night.

Have Ambrose win the IC match, and in a post match interview say he heard Rollins say he was gonna cash in, and that he hasn't forgotten about him, and that he'll get what he deserves.

Reigns and Lesnar have a very back and forth match, Lesnar kicks out of the spear, and attempts to put Reigns in the Kimura, after a long struggle to break the hold, Lesnar locks it in and Reigns taps. After the match, Lesnar is celebrating when Reigns superman punches him out of nowhere, and starts hitting him with a chair relentlessly, refs come down and try to stop him and he eventually gets held back by 7-8 refs, by the announce table.

Rollins makes good on his promise, and comes down with yet another a ref to cash in, he starts taunting Heyman about how Brock is out and he hits Heyman with the briefcase, then he gets in the ring. Brock has begun to stir but isn't up yet, when Ambrose comes running to ringside, some of the refs that were restraining Reigns go to check on Heyman.

Reigns sees Rollins about to cash in and gets on the apron. Rollins looks and sees Reigns on one side, and Ambrose on the other and starts to backpedal, until he bumps into a now standing Lesnar. Lesnar lifts him up for an F-5, when Ambrose hits Brock with the IC title, and Reigns spears him. Rollins gets up smiling, and signals for the ref to ring the bell on the cash-in. Rollins curbstomps Lesnar and gets the 1-2-3.

The following night on Raw kicks of with the Shield music playing as they enter through the crowd, they state that they control the show now. Kane comes out and tries to take charge and they just destroy him. HHH is nowhere to be found after losing to Sting, so nobody is there to take charge. Rollins reveals it has been a long con all along, that they would have never had been allowed to have the WWE title in the Shield's possession, so he had to convince HHH that he was on his side, and that the Shield could never exist again. Ambrose says he missed fighting the world together, and felt he didn't have a purpose on his own, while Reigns says he was sick of everyone, including the fans, being against him, and with all the obstacles thrown in his way.

So Lesnar is now a face fighting a war against a faction, the Authority is MIA, and the show has a vibe of anything can happen because of it, Reigns is the monster heel enforcer and can be protected from having to give 10 minute promos by himself ever again, while still being presented as the most dangerous of the group. Ambrose is elevating the IC title as a heel in the faction that does whatever they feel like, and Rollins is the WWE champ, while still being kind of a coward about it.

any chance Heyman back stabs Brock & flips to Reigns?
Strong chance.
Barf. Brock is still part-time, regardless of the outcome. He needs his mouth piece. No need to change anything about Brock and Heyman - they should just keep doing the same stuff they've been doing all year, regardless of the crowd reaction. It makes Brock flexible enough to face anyone (Brock vs Bryan is the $$$ match, in my opinion).

Quite frankly I wish you were writing for the WWE.

I like this. A lot.

I just don't see how Ambrose can ever forgive Rollins. Seth broke up his dream team and then tried to murder him via cinder blocks.

I can get behind Roman and Seth working together again - they never really beefed after the break up. If there has to be a third to re-create the Shield, I'd be willing to add in another upper mid card guy...How about Sheamus?

Prince Puma retains the Lucha Underground title by beating Cage - with some help from Konnan and Hernandez. The match was a street fight with no DQ.

This makes no sense. Reigns submits and then is immediately able to issue a beatdown on a guy that hasn't shown signs of being weakened like that?I'm not buying it.

He'd submit because he can't escape the hold, not because he breaks his arm in it. Plus, Lesnar is pretty worn down, he took a spear and was in a 20+ minute match.

I was thinking about that, but if they really want this "lunatic fringe" thing with Ambrose, then in theory he should be able to forgive Rollins for it, simply because a normal person shouldn't. Maybe even be proud of Rollins for doing something so vicious.

Sheamus seems like someone who should always be a loner to me. He should really be booked like he was in 2011, where he was just a guy who loved to fight anybody that wanted to fight. Like a consequences guy. You interfere in a match, your punishment is having to fight Sheamus kind of thing. Like how they used Kane in the attitude era.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of breaking up Heyman and Lesnar at all. I really don't think Heyman turning on Lesnar really accomplishes anything.

I think a Lesnar/Bryan match down the line, could be an awesome match. Though, I get the feeling Bryan is going to hang around the midcard for at least a few months here.

These guys are seem to be over.
Enzo/Cass are great and they'll be a hit when they're promoted. They both still need a bit of ring work, though.
That's important...so many people want NXT guys to move up and be in top of the card spots...Enzo/Cass and the Vaudevillans are huge in NXT. They are comedy relief on the main roster. That's fine with me...the main roster really needs a good shot of comedy (especially if Miz/Dow break up at Mania), but I don't want to hear people complaining about them being held back. The comedy team role is important...I hope these guys embrace it if they are promoted.
Should definitely be alot more designated "Mid-carder" types and professional "Jobbers".

This idea that EVERYONE should be pushed and be Champion at some point is absurd.

I'm marking out like a geek just reading this.

Perhaps it's just me but the crowds for NXT have been much weaker the past 2 weeks than the past. I think 2 weeks ago were taped in OH or somewhere. I think this week was taped in their normal Full Sail university venue.

Owens/Balor was a good match. Really should have saved it for a NXT PPV (or even Mania -- or other WWE PPV undercard)

I know this probably an obvious observation, but after reading some of the wished for WM scenarios proposed here and on other sites, WWE better have something big planned Sunday. That can't play this event safe. The future of the Network may hinge on how well this event goes over. They can't have another RR where the biggest story coming out was fans cancelling their subscriptions. I hope they have learned their lesson, but with Vince nothing is for sure.

Unarguably the Best Worker in the World. Easily.
Lol. No
Why is that so lol worthy? He has long been considered BITW when it comes to his in-ring skills.
Even with the WWE "dumbing down" his skill set, he is still by far the best they have. No one else has his package of aerial moves, pure wrestling skills, and electrifying moves that wow the crowd. Seth Rollins is getting there, though. A Bryan/Rollins feud at some point is a must. The matches they would have would be absurd.

They tape 4-5 NXT episodes at a time and I think this week's NXT is the last or one of the last episodes of that taping.

Sad. WWE even knew they needed he rock to save reigns.
:goodposting:

And they have Rock talking for Reigns in their post show :lmao: Rock gonna be at every RAW the next 2 months holding Roman's hand too?

What a ####### disaster. I've said it a million times. Reigns is the new All American babyface WWF Lex Luger of the mid 90s they're desperately trying to make the next face of the company.
Well apparently WWE is seeing the comparison too now. I actually think Reigns has improved since the Rumble when I made the comment. His match vs. Bryan at Fast Lane was fine. They just got to stop scripting so much for the guy. It just comes off so bad. I'd just turn him heel and let others assist him as a mouthpiece for now and just hope he continues to improve.

http://rajah.com/node/46382

Internally, there have been some comparisons to Lex Luger, who was pushed to the moon back in 1993 with the Lex Express before WWE ultimately went with Bret Hart. While WWE could still have Reigns win the title on Sunday, WWE is not oblivious to the fact that he's not getting over like somebody in his position should be. While Luger was relegated to mid-card status after WrestleMania X before jumping ship to WCW, WWE has a lot invested in Reigns and we could see a big shakeup in his character in the coming months. He's still got a very bright future ahead of him, but management is now more open to Lesnar going over.

It'll be interesting to see which direction they go with Reigns on Sunday:

1. The "Diesel": Have the cool guy dressed in black win the title when he's not ready for it, have him hold the title for longer than he should.

2. The "Luger": Realize they made an oops and abort the plan.

Still, Luger flying onto an aircraft carrier on July 4th to get in Yokozuna's grill was pretty good.

That was one of the more memorable face turns. Didn't Luger make a comment that Yokozuna pretty much body slammed himself? I bet you crush would have been able to slam him if they let him.

Time for Vince to hire Akebono.

I was just thinking that Reigns would be a great Diesel. Not the champion Diesel, but the bodyguard Diesel. I wish they could have broken up The Shield in a way where Rollins/Reigns would have become this generations HBK/Diesel.

I think he already did.....for a sumo match against the Big Show.

He can say hi all he wants, but Bryan is still a better worker and entertainer.

It is sad though how much WWE has botched Cesaro's character since a year ago. I am not even a big fan of his, but after WM, the fans were ready to cheer the guy like crazy, yet they stuck him with Heyman and kept him as a heel. So dumb.

No.

Watching the similar sized NXT guys like Balor, Zayn and Neville, all of whom are much better, more intense, more physical, and more exciting than Bryan, really opened my eyes to how overrated he is. I dont want this to sound like I don't appreciate him, because I do. He's fun to watch and always puts on good matches. But I have to laugh when I hear the "best in the world" stuff. Speaking of, Punk was also much better than him.

A short blurb from LordsofPain.net

CMLL wrestler Rey Bucanero says he has talked with Rey Mysterio following the Perro Aguayo Jr. tragedy and says that Rey is leaning towards retirement. Rey's first public appearance and interview since the tragedy will come tonight in San Jose.

CMLL wrestler Rey Bucanero says he has talked with Rey Mysterio following the Perro Aguayo Jr. tragedy and says that Rey is leaning towards retirement. Rey's first public appearance and interview since the tragedy will come tonight in San Jose.
The coroner report also said:1. Perro's C1, C2, and C3 vertebrae were broken.

2. They don't know when, but the breaks happened in two separate impacts

3. Perro was alive at ringside, but died en route to the hospital

4. There was no hope for Perro even if everything was handled faster/better

5. Perro had a physical 15 days before and was fine.

We never will truly know exactly what ended Perro, but I suspect the awkward way he hit the ropes for the 619 was the nail in the coffin and that he may have been in a bad already before that.

If Rey continues his career, retire that move. It was lame anyway.

Count me as one who doesn't quite see the fervor over Bryan. Keep in mind, I've only ever seen him wrestle since the RR (I got back into it the night that he was laid out by Kane).

Punk was awesome Go back and watch the Punk/Bryan match from Over the Limit in '12:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dms9y0m9ZDc

They both put on a clinic. Funny thing is that was during the brief spell where they tried making Bryan a heel, but he was too over with the fans and was turned back a few months later. Even in this match against Punk, who was the top face at the time, Bryan still gets cheered a ton.

They both put on a clinic. Funny thing is that was during the brief spell where they tried making Bryan a heel, but he was too over with the fans and was turned back a few months later. Even in this match against Punk, who was the top face at the time, Bryan still gets cheered a ton.
Punk is great in any style, any venue.

As far as Bryan goes, one thing that hurts him is the WWE style, where he can't completely uncork his arsenal. RBM, do yourself a big treat some night when you're not doing much and go find Bryan Danielson matches in RoH and other indies on Youtube.
