BREAKING: Starting Monday, RAW will be rated TV-14.
We shall see if those E drones who craved a return to TV-14 will get higher ratings to those of the Attitude Era. Methinks not; Vince’s booking still makes for a lousy product (Liv Morgan notwithstanding).

I didn't realize Jim Cornette posted here.
JC hates almost anything not old school anymore.He's also a republican trying cover up as a liberal and has a fanbase who eats every word of his. Also he can't get canceled because he canceled himself years ago NWA knew who they were signing when they brought in Cornette for Commentary. Just wanted to see how far they could go. Plus he's an old mind who knew the old NWA product.

I always said PG backed them into a corner. It didn't allow certain storylines and kind of boxed in certain talent former and current especially one Jon Moxley, The Good Brothers, KO, Orton, Miz, Paige, etc In terms of what their characters could do. Especially Mox who was known for being a Mick Foley type doing death matches and Orton as a heel. Good Brothers always had an adult theme in NJPW too. This helps branch out some characters but until WWE gets a better creative team and they allow talent who can do a good promo on their own without someone writing chicken #### for them it won't matter. The rating allows for some more adult language and lead way with blood that they can show now and get a little more violent with the NO DQ Extreme Rules, ladder etc matches though.
I don't think they'll have people flocking back till we see something consistent from WWE. I've been there before suckered back into the product because of something I thought was good only for my time to be wasted.
The PG product killed WWE audience as it allowed people like myself who craved more of an adult centered product to branch out more to TNA and NJPW. I already knew of ROH but wasn't watching religiously besides catching it on TV here and there or going to a show here and there. Same with CZW until PA with Sporting Rules changed and CZW product either had to suffer and change it up or go else where. So in a way I want to thank WWE for the PG era.

Heard this from a podcast I listen too. There was a recent Killer Kross interview where he's asked why Scarlett wasn't with him on Main roster. He said he wanted to protect her from just being eye candy, look useless etc. Podcast I listen to got a source in WWE and I heard this at the NJPW Strong tapings I went to talking to some people I know there.
"WWE Main office people like Vince Bruce etc thought Scarlett would eventually overshadow KK Similar to Lana/ Rusev. They also thought Scarlett would Marc Miro Killer Kross. Miro was put with his wife Sable and eventually would be overshadowed in WWE by her. Bruce, Vince and others thought that would happen with Killer Kross."
This is something I've heard and now I've heard it from a podcast who's source worked in WWE at that time. In a way it makes sense. I don't know why Kross would lie in an interview about this either. If the WWE thing is true he's kind of making Scarlett look useless.
Also this was interesting from an interview he did not sure if it was the same
n an interview with interview with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Killer Kross spoke about his interactions with the WWE writing team and how it was a good experience for him overall. Said it was good experience and him and the writing team had good ideas. Problem is everything goes through Vince and if he doesn't like it or get it well it won't happen.
First off Corporate Misery was something people thought of for Aleistar Black in WWE. WWE screwed the pooch as he'd have been a perfect character to face Undertaker and Undertaker steps aside for Black to take the powers. if Possible as I can't remember Brody King's contract status at the time but maybe have brought him in considering he was part of the Kings of the Black as a member. If Black had stayed around Kross would've been a perfect member of the stable in some way. I think what Kross talks about here gets away from the PG brush they had on them and it constrained what they could've done. I'm Sure Undertaker would've appreciated the gesture as he's always fairy humble by guys wanting to do stuff in his honor if it makes sense.
I don't understand why Vince doesn't do some of this stuff. I know a lot of us fantasy book but I think us on this forum and thread have come up with better storylines over the yrs for talent in WWE or else where that were far better then what WWE ends up doing. The issue mostly is Vince IMHO.

Andrew Zarian who first reported this says there's more to this story. Theres some hesitation regarding if this is the right move. He'll have a deeper update tomorrow morning.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has yet to acknowledge the change in direction of the programming, but a source within the company confirmed that it is a USA Network decision. Furthermore, the fact that the memo for the change from TV-PG to TV-14 came from USA Network executives would also indicate the same.
Meltzer noted that it’s highly unlikely “WWE Raw” reverts to bloody matches and bra & panties-like content, but could incorporate more swearing and profanities when the change to TV-14 happens.
According to the always "truthful" SRS he said their WWE sources hadn't heard anything yet and an early leak may have been given.
Zarian works for Fightful from time to time even has their Patron linked in his bio. Further more I checked with several of my sources and non of them had heard anything from WWE POV about a change. From the info I've gathered and asked a few people it sounds more like USA is allowing more leeway. TV ratings aren't the same as Video games or Movies and Meltzer added today the Attitude Era could've had a PG rating and as long as the network and their sponsors were ok with it.
2 other people I talked to said SRS may have given Andrew wrong or dated info to make him less credible. Andrew has his own Youtube show and he's becoming fairly popular and SRS is one to get jealous. Unconfirmed reports is Andrew is dating Denise Salcedo of Fightful and Ross is jealous. Been told multiple times despite being married SRS is a womanizer and tends to try to hit on female talent, fans, coworkers. if someone doesn't like him especially wrestling wise he does everything to get to his contacts and black ball the person from gigs with false info pertaining them.
I could see either case being presentable. Fightful in the past has been known to pay off somewhat credible people in the IWC to report something they aren't sure of to see if the info they have is fake or somewhat true. It's not a bad idea but it's an pretty scummy move as well. As the fact is if the info is right Fightful put it behind the fightful select paywall with the headlines such as "More info on this story at our premium site in further detail" "We'll have a special reported exclusive to Patrons on this story come tomorrow" etc etc.
Overall it doesn't sound like WWE is going to PG14 anytime soon.

Just read this this morning, thought it is a pretty good overview of it.
Pretty much to summarize, nothing major is going to change, it just gives talent a teeny bit more leash to improve language or make a promo more intense/believable with use of the occasional curse word and maybe minimally more mature storylines. But at the end of the day, Vince has no interest in going back 20-30 years ago.

I watched the first video of the guy watching CYN and it was not good, not good at all. They got some guys that can work, but no single clue how to put together a show/story/angle. And horrible video editing skills. It's what I would have thought was cool in college and "most aren't smart enough to get it."

WWE could use a "feel good" story revolving around women right now. I think she's good enough in the ring and super hyper mega over with the WWE crowd, live and online.
Interesting Liv stat - Been in the 5th most matches for WWE this year (most for female)

Several major news outlets are putting together multiple reports involving Vince McMahon in more detail. They are reaching out to former women employees and those effected by this. Sounds like a bomb is about to go off on WWE and Vince soon.

I guess, but it just seems like everything she does is awkward. Half the time it seems like she even botches her own finish. I know Nattie got pissed at her at a recent house show for potato-ing her a few times (including the finish).

Interesting take on Undertaker.. Thought he was one of the best "bad guys" during my watching of WWE.. Favorite memories were when the arena would go completely dark and you knew he was coming, just had no idea from where..
Really enjoyed the biography of his career. His mom was funny as hell.

Sounds like Vince Russo is behind the TV14. He is annoyed seeing AEW use curses and such he has to bleep out constantly. If WWE does go to TV14 not much will change other then a few words not being bleeped out. Like I said the other day and Meltzer explained this in better Detail. WWE didn't need a TV14 for the Attitude Era and could've done it PG. They just would've had to have sponsors write an ok off

They were smart to tweak the Undertaker's in ring style a bit once he turned face in 1992, as his matches were all boring as hell the first year and change, with him working too slow and him no selling pretty much everything in character. So its been pretty well know that AEW wants to release Trio's titles and TK even confirmed they were made already. AEW wants to wait till Omega comesback to put on The Elite. SRS gave an update in a very Dave Meltzer way with they want to do them at All Out vs FTR but "plans could change" from now and then. Thank you captain obvious

That main event last night was crap. If the JAS is supposed to be in a shark cage, why weren't Guevara and Conti in the cage too? I can see it as a way to turn Anna Jay, but with a feud blowoff like a barbed wire match is, we should've gotten the final resolution without interference. Either man could win; the match was screwed up by allowing interference where there was to be none.
It reminded me of the main event at Capital Combat in 1990 in DC. Before the card, a fan asked JR how the main event (Flair vs. Luger for the WCW title) was going to go. I heard him say "DQ". Mind you, this is a cage match. Lo and behold, the rest of the Horsemen came to the ring, took control of the cage, lifted it up, and then proceeded to beat the crap out of Luger. <_<

Agreed, that barbwire match was an overbooked pile of ####. People #### on Cornette for being a "modern" wrestling hater, but he ain't wrong about everything he says, and it looks more and more like Tony Kahn really is a money mark. A lot of his recent booking is really bad.

I'm certainly no expert but from what I DO know and am reading, kicking Dunn and Pritch out the door along with Vince and having HHH and Steph in charge would be a huge first step. Give Heyman the book and see what happens.

Retirements never long last long in pro wrestling, even the "real" ones, so get ready for Vince's return if this whole story blows over. And it's not like he won't be sticking his nose in and running the show unofficially behind the scenes.

Sammy was playing off the injury he suffered when Eddie threw him off the top of the cage a few weeks ago. He wasn't mentioned since the following week after blood guts when they replayed what happened.

I read that WWE was pretty worried about what the new stuff was. I checked in with a few sources who said WWE was in absolute panic and was an absolute ####show these days figuring out what to do. Vince still has his stocks which are the highest amount of anyone but has no control over anything else. I think him retiring was more of Khan and Mcmahon's family trying to separate him from the company. Was told if it wasn't for the allegations he wouldn't have done this.
I was going to work when the Triple H news broke today he essentially has Lauranitis role. Didn't get much time but checked in with a few sources who said something BIG WAS HAPPENING IN WWE but couldn't tell if it'd happen today or next week.
Khan and Steph essentially are the CEOs. Hunter and Prichard are head of creative. HBK in charge of NXT. I've heard from others that Vince is done with WWE and his character won't return to TV either. No Word on if Kevin Dunn is still there and I've heard several unconfirmed reported that Jeff Jarrett is already on the champing Block. From numerious others there is more changes coming. Company wide all hands on deck Zoom meeting was at 5PM before SDL.
Brock walked out because he heard the McMahon news and said #### this if Vince isn't here I'm quitting. Apparently Brock was talked to and reassured that WWE would honor the contract he had with Vince still till it was done. It's known in the company Hunter was against resigning part timers like Brock to huge deals as he felt that money could've gone else where and save a few talents jobs.
Some of this stuff here is already public but unfortunately I was at work when most of it wasn't and got some stuff to from people. I only had enough time to get it to the podcast I listening to and see if his sources could confirm this too which they did.
Also told that don't expect full changes in WWE quick. Some storylines may change but they will wait till after Summer Slam to reset some of those. Others will play out do to them being so deep into them already. Hopefully we'll see NXT call ups used right on the main roster and some more care for the Tag division. Hopefully they stop pushing guys like Lashley and bringing in the part timers who can barely work to try and score a cheap ratings grades as well.
There's other stuff I've heard but most of it is unconfirmed or I want to check with others before throwing it out there. I will say Sasha was in Boston her hometown where SDL was tonight. There's some word possible she could be back in the company now with Vince gone and Hunter EVP.

I was able to meet Sandman and Francine today. Sandman was giving me crap about my Hawaiian shirt. 
Francine was saying something to me when he looked at her and said WILL YOU SHUT UP HE IS TRYING TO PUT US OVER!!
