Trios match and main event were incredible. Never been a big believer in MJF but I think he won me over last night. Looked incredible and went over an hour with the best in the world.

Sign me up for Kenny vs Malakai singles match asap!

New Trios Champs!!!!! House of Black!!!!
Praise God in Heaven.
Just in time for the FTR return so the Bucks can return to tag action and make sure FTR don't sniff the titles again :tinfoilhat:

That was a banging PPV. While the deathmatch was good in a vacuum I guess, I didn't really care. I've seen pretty much all of that multiple times (a lot of it on free tv!) from Mox because that is all he knows how to do. Forgive me if I don't agree that Mox is the wrestler of the year. Why, because he goes and wrestles the same deathmatch style on the indies as well as AEW?? The guy is nearly incapable of wrestling any match that doesn't involve weapons, objects or blood. I do give him credit for stepping in and staying on after the Punk blow up. That was big.

Danielson MJF was an all timer for me. Great great match.

AEW still the king of PPVs. Christ almighty.

Might be by far their best PPV top to bottom. The Cornette Stans were sitting on the Texas Death Math and Raj Giri sent out a tweet. This PPV was so good that WWE suck up Ryan Satin stood up and defended the Death match. I commented on a site I go to for Dirt Sheet Rumors I guess Satins WWE checks hadn't been getting approved and the one admin tweeted me back that he said the same thing in their group WhatsApp chat.

FTR per PWINSIDER was kept quiet. The teases of them going to another company were all part of the storyline. FTR has signed new Long Term Deals and were granted time off after losing all the Titles they had won last year.

“Zero has changed, let's put it that way. We got a call from Tony and this was, maybe, five days before the pay-per-view, maybe, it could have been four days before the pay-per-view. I don't know and I'm just guessing that he either heard a clip, listened to the podcast, or read one of the headlines where I said we were ready to come back, our bodies were healed, we were just waiting for the call and we wanted to do what was right, because we are contracted through April.

Our choice right now is strictly on happiness, that's all. The pros of staying in AEW is a great schedule where I can come home and be with my family. The pros of WWE is they are the number one, at least and for the foreseeable future too, they are the number one money-making profession wrestling company in the world and monetarily, they could offer us a great deal too. But WWE, I don't feel like we would have the kind of schedule that we would like. Another pro for AEW is, unless Tony changes his mind come April, we will be able to do independent bookings, and having a great relationship with New Japan, where we can go.

Doing New Japan, doing the independents, going out and being able to do comic-cons and things and meeting some of our fans, those are the pros in AEW. WWE, they are on a creative high right now and I think that they could be able to keep that creative high up.

Nothing has changed and please allow everything to play out, because, come April, you will all be able to understand what we're doing and where we are going.”

KAIRI says she will be bringing someone with her to STARDOM that will “shake things up” in the company.
STARDOM’s next shows will be on 4/2 at Korakuen Hall and “Star Grand Queendom” on 4/23 in Yokohama.
No additional hints were provided regarding who the "someone" accompanying KAIRI could possibly be.
If the mystery person is showing up with KAIRI on April 2, that would eliminate the likes of Mercedes Mone and former WWE star Naomi, who are scheduled for “WrestleCon” in Los Angeles that weekend.
Some fans have speculated that it could be WWE star IYO SKY, who worked for Stardom from 2013 to 2017, but she has a tag match scheduled at WrestleMania 39, which means she will not be there, but that would not eliminate her from appearing at the April 23 show.

Fun fact here

Eddie Kingston will go one-on-one with Ben Dejo tomorrow night on Ring of Honor weekly television.
Dejo, will be making his return to ROH. He has not performed in Ring of Honor since the summer of 2011.
What some may not know is that Dejo is actually All Elite Wrestling's Serpentico without his mask.

No Road Dogg you can't put 2 ex NJPW guys on WWE tv and work a WWE style match and expect it to be good. The main problem with WWE and their employees is the absolute elitist egos that if its on WWE it's the best and this is what WWE gets wrong here.

Why AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Was Booked For WrestleMania 34
"We felt like we were listening to the international wrestling community. A lot of people think differently about that match than I did. Like, I thought it was a good match. But, I think I've seen matches of theirs in Japan where it was just a different crowd and a different reaction to things, and I've seen them have better matches in Japan...It was all about giving the IWC, you know, that's just the truth of it, it was about giving them what they wanted and it was also good business,"

"Road Dogg" Brian James said on his Oh...You Didn't Know podcast.

Wardlow rental car was broken into yesterday

Was wondering what they were gonna do with the ROH Tag Belts the Briscoes won.

Mark Briscoe announced that there will be a "Reach For The Sky" Ladder match to crown the new ROH World Tag Team Champions at Supercard of Honor in Los Angeles. March 31st!
Lucha Bros is the first team announced for the match.

Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels reunited on this week's Ring Of Honor and they're looking to capture the ROH Tag Team Titles once again.

Hangman, Grayson and Evil Uno vs BCC next week in Canada

2 matches have been confirmed for ROH’s “SuperCard of Honor” in Los Angeles, California on March 31st:
Samoa Joe will defend the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Mark Briscoe.
The ROH World Tag Team Championships will be on the line in the first ever “Reach For The Sky” Ladder War.
So far, the only duo for announced for multi-team match are The Lucha Bros. More to be chosen soon.

The match was also lauded as one of, if not the best, 60+ Minute World Championship Match in American History. It's MJF's first 5 star match and the highest rated match in Bryan Danielson's career.

WON: AEW is working to re-sign the Elite to new contracts well before their free agency.
As previously noted, WWE is interested in signing Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks should the opportunity arise.

Her Husband John Hennigan is in MLW

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Taya Valkyrie has finished up with IMPACT and is "likely" going to either AEW or WWE.
Whichever promotion her next destination is, it's supposed to be made clear within a short period of time.

Its being rumored that Trish Stratus is set to work a program with Becky Lynch through Summerslam that would see Trish as the heel

Big rumor going around with the wrestling people today on dirt sheets and insiders is WWE is going to Induct The Great Muta into the HOF this year. Perhaps this was part of the deal WWE and NOAH signed for Nakamura to face Mutoh

Balor vs Edge Hell in A Cell at Mania

Also Bray Wyatt went missing from a live event Sunday. Some reports he's injured while others say he took his ball and went home because of creative issues.

This latest run with Uncle Howdy or whatever is a complete mess. He can stay away as long as he'd like and it won't hurt the product, it will help.

Yes, Sami going over Saturday would have been the right choice, but I'm thinking the following situations are in play:
  • I think Roman wins at WM, and loses at SummerSlam for two reasons. One, I think they are struggling with the Cody story, and it's easier to lay back and let him chase awhile. Let him lose at WM as a face and then win as the heel he should be at SS. Two, and this is super nerdy, but SS is 166 days away. That would push Roman to past Pedro Morales' reign of 1,027 days as champ and more specific, push him past Punk's 434 days as WWE champ. I can just hear Heyman down the road: "Bruno, Hogan, Backland, Reigns. That's the Mount Rushmore of WWE champions."
  • Sami (and KO) got their Montreal moment. The bigger moment will be when they beat the Usos at WM while also officially making up. It didn't go unnoticed that KO saved Sami Saturday, but stayed distant. This will be a fun six weeks buildup. And then after WM, you have a great story of Sami and KO running through the tag division until KO no doubt turns on Sami in some way.
  • All of that leaves Jay vs. Roman, the story from the beginning to be finished. Maybe for leadership of the Bloodline. I wouldn't hate Roman losing at SS and then taking the rest of the year off.
I am now leaning even more towards Roman retaining the titles at WM. Kaz on the Masked Man Show made a solid point: the next four PPVs are at super large venues, PR with 18,500 seats, Jeddah Superdome with 40,000, O2 Arena with 20,000 and Ford Field going up to 80K if necessary. As much as people want to see Cody with his WM moment, I don't think you sellout these venues without Reigns in the main event. Take the belts off of him at SummerSlam.

Makes sense. Especially from a sports-fan view. NFL and CFB is all that matters from Labor Day to Feb. MIGHT get my attention back for RR if DJax posts highlight videos in here. Let Cody carry the belts from August to January and then tell another good story.

Plus, if RR finally loses at SS on August 5th, he will have been champion for 1,071 days, which would put him in 5th place all time for longest title reign, just ahead of Pedro Morales (1,027 days) but still behind Bruno's second reign (1,237 days), Hogan (1,474 days), Howdy Doody (2,135 days), and Bruno's first run (2,803 days). What better way to be able to eternally honor a company-favored guy than by giving him the 5th longest reign ever? And, I might add, in the 21st century when you're lucky for a champ to have a reign of a year.

Kenny needs to split and get in the title scene because based on the MJF segment, AEW has a major baby face problem right now.

Brock lesnar flew into Raw and immediately left after his segment on a plan with a car waiting outside the arena. He didn't bring any bags or anything and left back to go home with the clothes on his back. Probably got paid close to $1M just for that.

Vince officially doesn't give a flying **** about his fans

In a post on Twitter, former WWE writer Dave Schilling spoke about what Vince McMahon’s reaction was to fans not wanting Baron Corbin vs. Kurt Angle. There was fan backlash at the time to Corbin vs. Angle at Wrestlemania 35, which served as Angle’s final match. The match went six minutes with Corbin winning.
Schilling wrote: “Oh, no, it’s Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin. When it was mentioned in a production meeting that the fans hated the idea of this match, Vince McMahon laughed so hard and said “**** em.”

Wade Barrett and Michael Cole have been named the permanent commentary team for WWE SmackDown.
Barrett told the Daily Star that McAfee is a “great friend” to WWE but has a lot on his plate right now.
According to PWInsider, McAfee is not expected back on WWE commentary for the "foreseeable" future
