Edwards was married to former Knockout Angelina Love

BREAKING: Several companies have terminated their association with Davey Richards for violating their code of conducts due to allegations of domestic abuse.
Richards is currently in the middle of a divorce and has “limited supervised visitation“ with his young children.
Official court documents released earlier this morning have also revealed alleged cocaine abuse as well.
 
WON: There is an undisclosed medical issue with Roxanne Perez regarding her maybe not being available.
It’s possible she will need to take a very short time or a longer time off and the way the injury storyline was done covers them no matter what the determination is, which was supposed to be clear this week.
 
Wheeler Yuta has challenged Katsuyori Shibata to a future Ring of Honor Pure Championship match, rumored to be a ROH “SuperCard of Honor” on 3/31!

WON: As of right now, Mercedes Monè has no dates left with Bushiroad (NJPW/STARDOM) after the 4/23 Yokohama Arena show (STARDOM All-Star Grand Queendom)

WON: WWE had opened talks with Komander prior to AEW announcing him for the ladder match about potentially doing a tryout, but not a contract offer.
But they did speed up the process, contacting him again right after he was announced for appearing in the ladder match, and again right after the match trying to speed up the process.
The change in the head of recruiting in WWE has sped up their wanting to consider new talent.

WON: Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley is scheduled to headline night one of WrestleMania

There have been rumors regarding a John Cena vs. Logan Paul match at SummerSlam.
Paul asked for the match months ago for Mania but the company went in a different direction. Whether or not the match happens would be up to Cena’s schedule in August.

Kofi Kingston’s ankle injury will require surgery and he will miss this year’s Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles.
 
WON: Jay White has been talking to WWE but has not signed. He is also talking to AEW.
A source familiar with the situation described it as 50/50 which federation he would go with.
 
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider Elite, “There's been some rumblings about Randy Orton internally within the last week or so, where there hadn't been any discussion about him internally in some time.”
It was also noted that nothing new was said about Riddle’s WWE status after going on hiatus, when he was suspended due to a failed drug test for the second time in late 2022 and sent to rehab in December.
 
New Japan slowly repackaging their midcard and establishing new faction rosters throughout this New Japan Cup. G1 going to be hot this summer imo.

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is officially a free agent, as he could not come to an agreement at the time with WWE on a new deal to keep him with the company.

Just be careful if you're doing a google search on Angelina Love. She shares that name with a model...a model of tight, leathery things that can restrain you. I know nothing of this personally; I've heard about it on the bird app. :oldunsure:
 
I don't think fans would really go for this. WWE in talks over legalized betting.
Allowing gambling on certain WWE matches would alter how matches are produced – and how storylines are created. In discussions about how gambling on wrestling could work, WWE executives have proposed that scripted results of matches be locked in months ahead of time, according to people familiar with the matter. The wrestlers themselves wouldn’t know whether they were winning or losing until shortly before a match takes place, said the people.

For example, the WWE could lock the results of Wrestlemania’s main event months ahead of time, based on a scripted storyline that hinged to the winner of January’s Royal Rumble. Betting on the match could then take place between the end of the Royal Rumble and up to days or even hours before Wrestlemania, when the wrestlers and others in the show’s production would learn the results.

I mean, if this went down, things like Daniel Bryan rising up from the ashes of the Royal Rumble to win everything at WM could never happen again. Spontaneous things like Kofimania could never happen again. The effect on storytelling would be terrible.

I mean you can kind of bet on AEW already but I think it's like just prop bet stuff
 
Cultaholic is reporting via Wrestlevotes and another source that RR will take a “significant” break after losing the belts. It’s not guaranteed that this will happen at WM.

I'm getting more on board with the idea of having Cody lose at WM and then go get it at SS. That story potential is juuuuuuicy. That WM crowd is gonna be so juiced for a Cody win... man, you have him lose there with some bloodline ****ery and then chase until SS... that could be $$$
 
There's a very high risk/reward with Cody losing. Trips will have a tough task to thread that needle, but I think it can be done.

(I predict the safe route and have Cody just win at Mania)

In kayfabe, Cody feels he has the Usos equalized now with Sami/KO taking care of them, but you still have Solo to account for. Solo makes the save at WM, and then for the next three months you have Cody chase and finally evens the numbers at SS (Dustin? Rikishi doing the right thing? Rock? CM Punk?)

This was known awhile ago like last year when he wasn't going to do live events. Reigns was gonna have a significant title reign then go on a hiatus for awhile
 
No way Cody loses at Mania...not with Vince still in the picture.

Vince loves Mania as the everybody leaves happy, good guy goes over event of the year.

You only get one chance at this where Cody is at his absolute peak of popularity. Everybody sees it. Everybody wants it to happen. Don't overthink it.

Great main event and another terrific cliff hanger from AEW at the end with Don. Not sure what's going on with BCC attack. Is Don aligning himself with them now? Don being written off? BCC needs a 4th man at least I'm suspect Shoota comes back. Maybe Jeff Cobb laid out the Bucks and BCC is just taking advantage there? Finally weekly Wrestling where you want more again. Haven't felt this great about wrestling on TV in the US since RAW IS WAR.

I actually will believe Jericho before I believe CM Punk again. I like Punk as an in ring talent but as a person not so much. He's become a lot of what he use to say he hated. A lot of wrestlers didn't like the fact he just quit and left and then tried to say he was trying to defend the little man on the roster. They felt more like he left them out to dry. More of a Captain who refused to go down when his ship sunk type. Also after the Colt Cobanna stuff where Colt was still on the Indies and helped a lot of guys they felt Punk was just too disrespectful.

Could and should talents find ways to coexist? Sure I got coworkers I hate I coexist with work wise but I also don't go out of my way to help them. Honestly just sick of this whole ordeal anymore. One minute he's never coming back, next oh it seems like people made up then someone says something and they are all upset, it looked recently they'd make up and now Punk puts this crap out there. At this rate they are all just acting like a bunch of babies. Either TK comes out and says Punk is no longer associated with AEW or Punk is still part of the company and people need to coexist with one another get them all in one room with TK and others to mediate and lock them in that room till they all apologize and agree to disagree and work together to coexist for the greater good of AEW. But that obviously isn't gonna happen after Punk's IG post today basically saying he's putting himself before anything now.
 
Sounds like WWE wants to start long term booking again

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, claims WWE has a one year story in place post-Wrestlemania 39:
"They have a year of post-Mania plans. This is not something where they're gonna do WrestleMania and then the creative team and Hunter are going to wake up and be like 'What the **** are we gonna do now?'

Hot damn, Mania is going to slap real hard this year, and last year was when they had the giant hand from the Jackass match. (Which Sami killed btw and I loved. One of my all-time favorite matches.)

Yep. And Meltzer is a known liar who makes up stories, so he has zero credibility left anyway.

I suspect Kahn knows that bringing Punk back is best for the company long term, but with Jericho and the locker room children not wanting to be grown ups and work with someone they don't like yapping is in ear, Kahn is in a tough spot.
