From Lionheart to Lyinstooge

The Chris Jericho story 🤣
Jericho been stooging stuff off since hes joined AEW.

Punk called him out on it.
Yep. And Meltzer is a known liar who makes up stories, so he has zero credibility left anyway.

I suspect Kahn knows that bringing Punk back is best for the company long term, but with Jericho and the locker room children not wanting to be grown ups and work with someone they don't like yapping is in ear, Kahn is in a tough spot.

Lets be honest though. After the Colt Cobanna stuff Punk's lost a lot of credibility himself. Was he right on some stuff he said? Absolutely but he literally lied to his best friend and then threw him under the bus on a **** show he created himself back then. Which a lot of people backing Colt Cabanna though started to not like him. I know many of us when Punk left were all team Punk **** WWE and Vince it's about time some one stood up to them yada yada yada, but looking back on it now what he did was no different then Sasha and Naomi did and some in that locker room felt like he abandoned them when they were fighting because it got too tough for him. There's numerious people in WWE who won't take him back including the main guy now Hunter. Numerious people in WWE don't want him there. Those who do want him either work part time or retired now. Sahsa this was her second time and Vince brought her back the first and she got the women's title. Punk Knows if he gets fired from AEW thats it he's probably not working elsewhere again. His ego won't let him work Indies.

Jericho's been standing up for the little guy for yrs. Does AEW get some blame for what happened? sure but notice the only people backing Punk are people who were and still his friends today. No one in the middle ground who doesn't have a side is backing the dude. After his all out Press conference if that was all that happened and there was no fight I'd have canned his *** if I were TK. It was totally unprofessional what he did. It's no different then me or you going on social media and calling out our employer and coworkers on a rant. Thats automatic termination for who I work for BTW. But Punk lost credit with me when he didn't stand up for his best friend when he got sued by WWE. I wouldn't want to be around a guy like that.

Punk in AEW became what he hated in WWE. I think he felt AEW backstage would be like WWE which it wasn't and Punk found out hardway. The dude just needs to go away at this point. I'm starting to think Phil Brooks is that guy who cool with you till something between you and him happens. When he doesn't get his way he then throws a temper tantrum and storms off. He then won't talk to you till you apologize to him because he feels you were wrong and he was right and won't take accountability.

Josh Alexander is injured and will have to relinquish the Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship.
Alexander tore his tricep and will require surgery.
Impact will crown a new champion on April 16 at “Rebellion” when Steve Maclin faces KUSHIDA.

KAIRI is a free agent.
Via her translator: "She would like to go anywhere possible and she would like to go back to the US.
When asked who Kairi would like to wrestle in the US: "Saraya, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Asuka, Io, Bayley, Shayna Baszler, everyone

Sounds like Everyone realizes where Miro stands in wrestling. A very good mid carder but it seems Miro doesn't want to do anything to help himself. One of the reasons WWE released him was he got difficult to work with. He kept turning down numerious ideas. I think it was dumb to break him and English up when they did but then again Rusev wasn't doing stuff to help himself backstage either. Sounds like AEW is seeing that too. Maybe they can put Rusev in ROH and see if he accepts that but I doubt he will

WON: Tony Khan had pitched an idea to Miro in September for Full Gear to work with Adam Page. This would've kicked off with Miro and Page being the last two participants in a Battle Royale. Page would throw him over.
Miro refused.
Khan had said that after the PPV they’d try and get back and obviously Miro hasn’t been mentioned since.
He has about three years left on his contract.

Hayter has been off AEW as she had to go back to the UK to renew her work Visa.

According to Wade Keller most in AEW don't want Punk Back. According to one wrestler he talked to TK bringing Punk back no matter what was already gonna be hard but after the IG post it could be nuclear. Unconfirmed that he had heat with a lot of people. One source told him Punk even has heat with MJF as well.

That is all irrelevant, or at least should it be. As I said before, part of being an adult is recognizing that you sometimes have to work with people you don't like, but the children who run AEW, Jericho included (his social media posts from the last few days are an indicator of what an immature child he still is), only want to play in their little sandbox with their friends. Punk is by all accounts a disagreeable jerk, no doubt about it, but bringing him back would be, to quote his least favorite person from WWE, best for business.

You don't bring someone back if they are toxic to the work place though. I had a coworker who sounds exactly like Punk was. A lot of drama at first seemed like it wasn't her but after while she we realized a lot of it was her own. Now granted one of the people who isa boss instigating it is still instigating stuff with others but this coworker leaving was best in the long run.

Also Punk put up ratings to start but Ratings quickly leveled out to normal after awhile with him on TV. So really theres not much reason even in a ratings argument to bring him back. Bischoff and Cornette have even said in the past that he didn't even drive ratings enough to even warrant bringing him back. So besides bringing cancer back to a locker room why would TK bring him back at this point?

Even Moxley burying A&W 😂

"The most bull**** backstage drama seen in life"

Children 🐥🍼

If you are gonna quote him quote the whole thing. Not just what suits you. He basically said it's because of a social media one person puts something out and people take it out of context. He also said he wasn't gonna stoop down to that level.

“I've never said anything even remotely negative about AEW. But I will say this. As an observer, it seems like I spent 8 years on the Indies, did a couple years in developmental, did 8 years in WWE.
I have never seen so much ******** drama in one place (AEW) in my entire ****ing life.
I hate to say that. But it's like, and I don't know if it's because of the age of social media and **** just gets blown out of proportion. Like one person types one stupid drunk tweet and it's all anybody wants to talk about...
Like we're sitting up here doing a podcast and you know what we're NOT talking about? That stellar ****ing match between Vikingo and Kenny Omega. We're not talking about all this cool stuff going on in AEW. We're not talking about this great PPV we just had."
- Jon Moxley

(via The Sessions)

He also he was working without a contract during that time in AEW and honestly if someone should've complained it should've been him and he was doing the company a favor. In other words the other guy is talking about petty ******** when reality is I should've been complaining he had to come back and clean up the **** the other guy made.

Jon Moxley responded to CM Punk on Renee Paquette's podcast Sessions. Mox revealed he was actually not under contract during his run as AEW Champion last summer when the incident between he and Punk occurred.
When asked if he would like to comment on Punk's claim:

"No, because nothing has unfolded. It's f***ING annoying. Just because somebody said some stupid sh*t on social media, that's not news. But it is, and it ends up being a thing. I don't want to get dragged into this dumb sh*t. I could f***ING unload on a lot of f***ing people right now. And when I start getting dragged into this sh*t it tempts me to do that but I'm not going to f***ing sink to that level.
I will say this. I will give you a tid bit of information from my point of view. The entire summer, I was not under contract [with AEW.] No contract. Free agent. I was at Summerslam weekend wrestling Desperado and sh*t the day of Summerslam. F***ing suplexed him on a bunch of aluminium cans and sh*t cut in half. It was f***ing dope. I could have walked into Summerslam that night with the AEW f***ing belt, if had I been so inclined. Nobody knew that because I don't put my sh*t out there in the world and let everybody know every f***ing thing about my business.

The night in what's-his-dicks [CM Punk] talking about, Minneapolis, is the night he came back, hopping on one foot after me and Jericho wrestled. Badass match by the way. We're talking later about stuff. Bear in mind, and this is my point, I basically don't work there. For all intents and purposes. I don't even work here. Tony [Khan] is not my boss. I don't even have to be in this room. I don't have to do ****. So even me being in this room and offering and agreeing to a storyline that puts you over at the Pay-Per-View [All Out 2022] if anything, I am bending over backwards for Tony and for this dude, and for the company. Because I didn't have to do sh*t. If anything, I was bending over backwards. So that's it. It's not even controversial. I'm just telling you [how it is.]"

Here's some food for thought. CM Punk started his career for the most part getting recognized here in Philly in a little Company called Ring of Honor based here. Moxley was all over the CZW and CHIAKARI etc scenes when here over the yrs before signing with WWE. I've been fortunate enough to meet both a few times before they left for the company up North. I know quite a few mutual acuiatance of both over the yrs too. Some more close to them then others.

Over the yrs I've noticed Mox has continued to be friends and become closer as well as make new friends in the scene. Punk on the other hand has stopped being friends with numerous wrestlers. A lot of things I've heard is him being upset about petty ******** not getting his way. Others stopped being his friend after throwing Colt under the bus with the WWE lawsuit. Recently after the Brawl out even less people are friends with Punk in the scene to the point it's so bad Punk's only option if TK were to find any solution is AEW. From talks with my former coworker to his people in WWE among others No one in WWE currently wants to associate with him including a few top people saying they'd quit WWE if he were to comeback. I also heard Punk's ego took a hit on the failed MMA route.

Over the years I've been fortunate enough to meet and talk to numerious wrestlers, listen to them share some stories and even share a few cold adult beverages with. I have the life of me never come across a more controversial person then CM Punk outside of the scumbags of this industry wise who beat their women, were in the #METOO movement etc. Now Punk isn't that type of person but controversy wise talked about he is. Just based on my observations he's had issues up and down the isle with numerious people he's come across. His BFF in AEW Pat Buck was known for leaking **** in WWE and when he left he was leaking **** to people about AEW. The brawl was a good chance of reason for AEW to finally get rid of him. Some people on his side just either never had an issue with him or just don't know him well enough.

Now not everything is Punk's fault but if Punk is having similar problems in AEW he did in WWE maybe the question should be not if these companies are the problem but he should take a good look at himself in the mirror. Like I said I had a coworker similar to Punk in the drama department and most of AEW's problems started after Punk got there.

I would have had more respect for Moxley if he had just been honest there and said it instead of playing the "I am not going to stoop to that level" and then slamming the guy non-stop while trying to make it sound like he is taking the high road. I get that he is ticked, but he comes off as a hypocrite in that interview.

As for being toxic in the work place, I get that, but that can cut both ways. It sounds like the children at AEW have probably galvanized the troops to where most feel like they have to tow the line to appease the young dorks for fear of being outcasts if they don't. Kahn has only himself to blame for giving those idiots EVP titles. There is a reason why Cody Rhodes jumped ship.

Bear in mind, and this is my point, I basically don't work there. For all intents and purposes. I don't even work here. Tony [Khan] is not my boss. I don't even have to be in this room. :lmao: What a bro Mox is

Dynamite trending back in the right direction, but it's a big boat to turn. Third week in a row that I've watched recently, and third in a row that I've liked. Last week's episode was the best of these past three.

Kenny in a singles match will help any given week, but really liked how cohesively the narratives have been presented last week and this week.

As of right now, Kota Ibushi still plans to make all of his scheduled dates for Mania weekend, despite re-injuring his shoulder late last night while training.

PWInsider reports Don Callis was legitimately busted open during the backstage segment with Blackpool Combat Club and Hangman Page. Don hit his head on the way down and had a cut that looked like a hatchet hit him. He went to the hospital and got several stitches.

ROH Tag Team Championship designs to be retired. New belts to debut at Supercard of Honor.
Speaking to Tim and Eli on Battleground, Tony Khan discussed how it was decided to pay tribute to Jay and find new champions.
"We were talking about ideas to pay tribute to the late, great Jamin Pugh, Jay Briscoe. So many of us loved Jay Briscoe, he's beloved in the locker room and there are wrestling fans all over the world that loved him. We wanted to pay tribute to him in Ring of Honor with something special and of all the ideas I heard, this was by far the best idea. It came from somebody who liked him a lot and wanted to contribute a good idea. It's really something that, Mark Briscoe thought it was a great idea, and that was important to me too. Having his opinion and having his buy in to this made all the difference in the world. It'll be new belts, we retired the old design,"

despite WWE representatives vehemently denying that McMahon is involved with creative, some "red flags" have caused concern amongst talent, to the point that discussions recently reached the AEW locker room.
One particular concern has been the increasing regularity of last-minute script rewrites under the Triple H regime, something that became a hallmark during the latter years of Vince McMahon's creative.
There has also been characters and gimmicks that have appeared to be adjusted to appeal to McMahon.
There have also been yellow highlighted sections of wrestlers promos, that was a staple under Vince, that have not been prevalent under the Triple H regime.
The situation has said to have impacted the overall feeling and morale in the WWE locker room negatively.

WWE running a sloppy shop again

Night one outside USO and KO/Sammy, Becky and legends vs Damage and Rey v Dom looks like a borefest.

Edge v Balor, Cody v Roman and IC Match only things worth night 2

Come on man, no judging, and I get everyone has different tastes, some worse than others, but you can't say that Rollins v. Paul is going to be boring. The Cena entrance alone to start the night is going to be amazing. Ripley v. Flair is going to be as close as we get to "big men slapping big men match" on the women's side and Ricochet and Montez Ford are probably going to kill each other trying to out do each other in mid-air.

Saturday is going to be a lot of fun.

SMH. WWE had things moving in a good direction, leave it to Vince to not be able to resist ****ing with it.

I think other than Cena/Theory starting the night, the rest of the lineup hasn't been revealed. Although, it does feel like it will be Ripley/Flair ending the night.

That is what I thought I heard too. I guess the good part is I don't have to watch to the end.

I can't stand either Seth or Paul. I respect Cena as a wrestler. If you seen one Flair match you've seen them all. Ford I can see but I've never been Ricochet fan at all.

Also the rumor is Flair/Rhipley is ME night 1

NXT “Battleground” will take place on Sunday, May 28 in the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The show will run against AEW Double or Nothing

Mark Briscoe has made it clear that he will no longer do standard tag team matches following Jay's passing.
Will only do singles, trios & but no 2 vs. 2 tags.

TK Says Bandido is dealing with VISA issues they are helping him out with but will be a big presence in ROH and AEW when it's straighten.

TK was asked on Radio today about HBK's comments about Regal working main WWE Roster. TK said thats news to him and basically insinuated that if true then Regal may have lied as TK let Regal go because William ask to leave to go work NXT to be with his son who's in NXT.

QT Marshal came up with the Reach for the Sky ladder match and Mark Briscoe loved it.

Also said Will Osprey would be on AEW TV if he wasn't hurt right now. Sounds like IWGP US Title match was suppose to be Osprey vs Omega before Osprey got hurt in the NJPW Cupp

When The Blackpool Combat Club attacked Hangman Page and Don Callis backstage on AEW Dynamite, Callis was legitimately hurt after the segment.
Callis struck his head while going down after being hit by Jon Moxley and was legitimately busted open.
He was hospitalized overnight and the gash was said to look like a “hatchet wound” to those who saw it.

WON: Brian Cage is more than likely finishing up with All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor this Friday night at ROH’s “Super Card of Honor” PPV in Los Angeles.

Britt Baker is currently dealing with a back injury and she says the problem is only getting worse.
On last night's premiere episode of AEW All Access, Baker is shown getting treatment for the injury in the lead-up to Full Gear. Months later, Baker tells Comicbook.com that not only is she still dealing with the issue, it has now spread to her neck.
"Unfortunately it's getting worse," Baker said. "Now it's like a neck and a back problem. But it's manageable. I'm tough, so I'll always find ways to work. My championship reign was with a broken wrist. So I'll figure it out one way or another. You've got to work your way around it, sometimes maybe trick your body into thinking, 'Eh, it doesn't really hurt that bad.'"

Interesting stat about Wrestlemania this weekend:

This year 18 different women are wrestling, 40 percent of the performers this year.

Doing a quick Wiki dive, it took the first NINETEEN WrestleManias to get 17 different women wrestling, and that is counting 2 on Heat prior to WM15, and 2 in a Ballroom Gown Match. There was an 11 year run, from WMIII to WM14 where there was one single womans match, WMVI.

Just crazy how far the E has come.

It's slightly different with the women-only Joshi companies in Japan, but it still blows my mind that it took decades for New Japan to have any women on their cards.

Based on all I've read, WWE is the second best company with women's wrestling after STARDOM and it isn't close imo.

Becky Lynch is still my favorite, she rocks. Though Jamie Hayter is making a great case to me of late. I still haven't shelled out 999 Yen to watch any of STARDOM, still want to do that but there are only so many hours.

If Vince can mind his own damn business, it's time for Demon Balor to ascend into the main event again. Balor's Takeover performances are some of the best stuff ever.

It is, but let's real nearly half of those women are competing in a ****ty 4 way tag match that noone gives a crap about :lmao: They have two nights to fill

I find that extremely hard to believe, especially if TK is hearing news that Regal lied about his intent with going back to WWE

Edge will battle Finn Balor in a mystifying match inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 39. The Rated R superstar promised to unleash the devil within him. Owing to this, various reports state that WWE is considering bringing back “The Brood” at Mania. The two members of the faction, Christian and Gangrel, are likely to appear alongside Edge at his entrance.

Moreover, recent reports suggest that AEW President Tony Khan has no problem with Christian going to WWE for a one-time appearance at Mania. With this, the rumors of Christian’s return have gained wings. Therefore, it looks inevitable that the fans will get a chance to turn back time. They will possibly behold the iconic faction “The Brood” at WrestleMania 39.

If THIS happens at Mania (with Edge in the center, of course) I might lose my ess.
