good write up summary of events from Reddit user

This already has 1912 comments at the time of me posting this but since I am reading the whole document and I am sure not everyone is here are some disgusting and horrible things that are being alleged. Trigger warnings for sexual violence/rape of course.

• The victim (I know her full name is in this but it really feels horrible to name her) got to know Vince McMahon because they lived in the same building, her parents had died after she had been their caregiver, lost her family house, and was unemployed.
• Vince shared pornographic content of the victim within the company including to a former UFC world heavyweight champion who they were trying to re-sign (clearly Brock Lesnar)
• Their relationship started with Vince acting with empathy to her situation and even confiding in her about his own traumas before he eventually made their relationship sexual. As they got closer he got more physical and began to hold vague threats over her head about him employing her and his legal team.
• At numerous points where Vince tries to begin sexual advances the victim clearly denies him before he coerces her or forcibly has sex with her. Quote from the first forced sexual encounter, "Ms. Grant felt coerced into engaging in sexual activity and that McMahon had trapped her an impossible situation, as she feared adverse career and personal consequences and legal retaliation if she declined his advances."
• The victim clearly asks for Vince (and later on others he forces her to have sex with) to use protection which never seems to happen. In one particularly horrible encounter, Vince forces her to have a threesome without protection where he defecates on her head and leaves to shower while the other man has sex with her.
• "96. Ms. Grant was immediately surprised that there was not much work assigned to her, struggling even to appear busy in her new role. In stark contrast to colleagues who complained about overflowing inboxes, Ms. Grant’s phone only overflowed with controlling and sexually charged text messages from the Chairman and CEO, reminding her both of McMahon’s power and ever-present surveillance."
• Vince has some weird fetish for WWE wrestlers. He named dildos after different wrestlers, roleplayed as if wrestlers were watching them, and even roleplays as the aforementioned UFC fighter.
• The victim ends up having panic attacks and confides in Vince which leads to her ending up going to Vince's weird physician who is named as "Celebrity Doctor" in the documents.
• The victim, tries to escape WWE to work at their XFL office/department. While they're going over this, Vince begins sharing porn of her with numerous employees. Including an entire sexual fantasy he shares with 12 tech guys where he basically says she would have kinky group sex with all 12 of these guys.
• "140. Her subsequent run-ins with Physical Therapist at Alternative Clinic also served as a reminder of how much was at stake if she did not obey; McMahon controlled Ms. Grant’s employment, income, paid for her medical care, circulated naked pictures of her, and ignored her lack of consent for the first threesome."
• Vince continued to get more violent, forcing her into threesomes, as well as using "extra large" sex toys which at one point left her bleeding and uncomfortable for at least two days.
• "165. On March 10, 2021, WWE Corporate Officer No. 2 informed Grant that day that she would officially be moved to Talent Relations and would quickly begin reporting to Laurinaitis, although details about her role, including a title and salary, were still being firmed up. In essence, Ms. Grant again found herself in a completely undefined role, except for the understanding that she remain a sexual slave to be used and trafficked by McMahon within the WWE." The stuff with Laurinaitis truly sounds like sex slavery. This woman was texted about what is referred to as "basically a shift schedule" as well as her being told to allow Laurinaitis to bring in even more men to the picture.
• (some speculation on my part) Vince realized she was trying to escape the situation and said she would eventually get promoted to Vice President of Talent Relations for a couple years where she could “take the experience anywhere.” The document said this gave her hope she just needed to survive a couple years.
• 175. As soon as Ms. Grant began working directly for Laurinaitis, forcible touching and overtly sexual behaviors became part of daily life when he was in the office. On numerous occasions, Ms. Grant was directed to visit Laurinaitis at his hotel room before work to serve herself to him as his “breakfast.” These devastating experiences made Ms. Grant feel as though she were being pimped out as an object for sexual gratification for her new boss. Upon information and belief, corporate funds from the WWE were used to finance Laurinaitis’s hotel stays when these coerced sexual encounters occurred.
• Laurinaitis and McMahon end up raping her numerous times in threesomes. On one occasion she tells them no and even ends up offering a threesome the next week in hopes it would help and they trap her in a room where, "Ms. Grant pleaded, “No, no, no” and “Please stop”; McMahon responded with “No means yes.”
• "186. Through all this, Ms. Grant noticed that the less she sexually engaged with Laurinaitis, the less work she had as Laurinaitis began to belittle Ms. Grant in front of colleagues. Fearing for herself and her future, Ms. Grant asked Laurinaitis whether he still supported her promotion to vice president. He deflected with an answer about considering all options and changed the topic. The extreme uncertainty and fear for her future exacerbated Ms. Grant’s physical symptoms of illness, including gastrointestinal issues and vomiting, which continued to worsen over the remainder of her time with WWE."
• Vince hoping to re-sign a "famous world-wide as a top talent with WWE with a large collective fan base" basically offers her up to him and eventually gives him her phone number saying she would do anything for him.
• Vince continuing actively admits to wanting her as a sex slave saying “I want to drive U lower and lower. So low that U might beg me to sell U”
• Eventually, Linda finds out and threatens to divorce Vince. Vince seems to not want to deal with the publicity of divorce which leads to him creating an NDA agreement for the victim. In order to get her to sign it Vince pleads, threatens and emotionally manipulates her numerous times.
• The last time they met, Vince forced her to give him oral, physically forcing her head as tears roll down her eyes. Before all this leaked but after Vince and her stopped meeting she was still expected to send pictures to the "WWE Superstar"
• It seemed like Vince relationship with her was an open secret and became less and less secretive over time.
• "266. Indeed, Ms. Grant’s trauma (and ongoing fears of additional retaliation) was so severe that she required extended inpatient treatment. Today, she lives with so much anxiety and depression that she is unable to leave her residence for weeks at a time out of fear and PTSD.

1. Due to this trauma and inability to leave her home, Ms. Grant was terminated from employment on January 27, 2023 where she lost not only her dream job of managing her building but the only job she could procure without the need for any references. Ms. Grant’s lost income is $80,000 per year."

Honestly, one of the most horrible things I have ever read. Jesus Christ. Hopefully this man rots to death in prison.

I haven't been this upset after reading something in a long time. This man is pure evil.

Am I surprised given the rumors on Vince over the yrs? No more shocked it took this long for someone to come out. Am I shocked at some of the things done though? Absolutely.

What’s worse is who else knew and covered it up? If Linda knew Hunter, Steph, Shane, Cena, Cole, Dunn, etc? WWE needs an internal 3rd party investigation pronto.

I think I have typed and erased four things about this situation. It's not good at all. If true, absolutely the worst. And those that participated or knew about it, need to be gone. All of them.
Absolutely

And sponsor has already pulled out

Slim Jim has released an official statement confirming they have paused their sponsorship with WWE due to the allegations toward Vince Mchahon:

"Slim Jim values integrity and respect in all of our partnerships. Given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, at this time we've decided to pause our promotional activities with WWE.

This decision reflects our commitment to our brand values and responsibility to our community.

We will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand".

Something positive: Potential or far-fetched entries in the Royal Rumble, ranked by how much I would lose my ####:
  1. AJ Lee :heart::heart:
  2. MJF
  3. Okada
  4. Big E
  5. Sasha Banks
  6. Matt Cardona
  7. Liv Morgan
  8. Andrade
  9. Tiffany Stratton
  10. Naomi
A Shamus return would be great, but doesn't move the needle for me. Feels like he was just here. Cena or The Rock would be interesting, but for me, not as much as the top 10. And yes, MJF is hurt and probably not going anywhere, but that would be a AJ Styles moment if his music hit and the screen was filled with Burberry.

The McMahon Family all slowly offloading their stocks, Stephanie peaces out, the feds raiding Titan Tower, Kevin Dunn retires, Rock joins the board. None of this is by accident.

AEW is being seen as far more likely landing point for Kazuchika Okada than WWE.

There have been very little, if any, discussions between Okada's side and WWE, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Vince McMahon has released a statement confirming his resignation:

"l stand by my prior statement that Ms. Grant's lawsuit is replete with lies, obscene made-up instances that never occurred, and is a vindictive distortion of the truth. I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to
clearing my name.

However, out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees and Superstars who helped make WWE into the global leader it is today, I have decided to resign from my executive chairmanship and the TKO board of directors, effective immediately."

Jack Perry’s attorney Michael Dockins filed trademark with the USPTO for the purposes of merchandise services on January 24 “Scapegoat”, the latest nickname he debuted earlier this month in NJPW.

POST Wrestling & Fightful reached out to Slim Jim about them pulling out of advertising with WWE and this was the comment they received back.

“Slim Jim values integrity and respect in all of our partnerships. Given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, at this time we’ve decided to pause our promotional activities with WWE. This decision reflects our commitment to our brand values and responsibility to our community.

We will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also said that a major company that was considering working with WWE are no longer interested.

PWInsider reports there is a belief in WWE that Endeavor may sweep out anyone close to Vince McMahon and his remaining team in order to have a complete "fresh start" for the company going forward.

There were employees who exited the company when Vince initially resigned who returned when he forced his way back in. For those who have remained with WWE post-Endeavor purchase, the belief among those spoken with is their connection to McMahon may be a major negative going forward for their WWE status.

There are some in WWE hoping Vince McMahon’s resignation opens the door for Stephanie McMahon to return,

Although others spoken to cautioned that it's not the same company that existed (internally) before Endeavor took over ownership so how she might potentially fit back in would not be immediately known.

If true some renewed respect for Shane OMac but this begs the question now how much does Hunter and Steph know and should they be held accountable as well? This is an absolute sh** show for WWe

Word coming out TDS is that with Vince McMahon officially gone word is now coming out about the fallout between Shane and Vince.

The main reason the two have had a big falling out over the last few decades is due to Shane not wanting to be like Vince.

It appears Shane tried to stop Vince’s terrible behaviour several times at Titan Tower with many now starting to speak out.

Vince tried to get Shane to join in with the debauchery and Shane would also shut it down in-front of high executives. This drove the tension between the pair to an all time high which is one of the main reasons Shane stepped away in the mid 2000s.

I'd be shocked if Stephanie and Triple H didn't know a lot about Vince's shenanigans and simply looked the other way. Sure, it was in character, but a big part of the Triple H brand is doing a crotch chop and yelling, "suck it!" He can try to act as corporate as he wants now, but Triple H has been best buddies for nearly three decades now with Shawn Michaels, which kind of speaks for itself. Note that I am not rooting for the downfall of Triple H, but simply saying that if I were a betting man and had to go one way or the other as to if he knew about this, I know which side would get my money.

WWE is orchestrating an unexpected and unconventional surprise for tonight's Royal Rumble premium live event. It has been described as an "off the wall surprise."

In preparation for tonight's event, WWE has purportedly been in contact with external organizations about the possibility of featuring their wrestlers in the two Royal Rumble matches planned for this evening.

The belief is that under the old regime, Vince McMahon would have used Brock Lesnar no matter what

But with TKO steering the ship, they are going to be far more aware of how a Lesnar appearance would come off to the public at this juncture.

I'm into Cody winning and setting up a rematch with Roman. If I had the pen, I'd have finished with Gunther v Cody again with Gunther going over...but running Cody again can absolutely work, and leaning into basic storytelling and the Rhodes history makes sense.

Um that presser was hard the watch with Hunter deflecting big time on anything about Vince. Says he found out in real time. Hunter knew stuff. If Shane knew Hunter knew.

If he was gonna give those answers just should’ve said we can’t comment on that now. No comment here was better than what he gave.

There is a lawsuit pending, so there is probably only so much that Triple H can say. Simply saying, "no comment," would have given the impression that he himself has something to hide, which he very well might, but it still would have been a bad look.

Talent has been told to deflect from anything regarding Vince. He can simple say I can’t comment on any investigation at this time for legal reason.

I agree, he handled it fine. Christ, if they would have asked Tony Kahn, we would have had a 40 minute diatribe with spreadsheets and a PowerPoint presentation.

“For those wondering, it was Bron Breakker who took Brock Lesnar’s spot in the Rumble. He came in, threw out everyone Brock was supposed to throw out and got himself thrown out the way Brock was going to be.”

- Dave Meltzer (via Wrestling Observer Radio)

Meltzer on Triple H

From several major PR professionals in the last 12 hours, the consensus was his PR and crisis management team failed him miserably. But he handled it poorly on the fly as wll.
