I can understand this. That is one of the reasons I wanted to point out I am not actually watching the game so you could take it for what that's worth. I saw some quick scores and was impressed this Thursday Night game wasn't another horrible game.I get your point and I'm not picking but my point is , yeah, there is scoring but scoring in itself doesn't make it a quality product. Its like watching watching an old NBA basketball game where the Suns beat the Hornets 134-128. There's scoring but you know its not the quality of the Jazz and Bulls that score 104 on any given night but look 100X better in every facet of it.
Not my favorite either but the Rams look better than any of the awful Navy Blue and Gold uniforms they wore. That whole scheme was so boring. 49ers always look good.Really? Yeah - not my favorite look for either team.
there have definitely have been much worseI actually love the color rush jerseys from these teams. Sue me
Numbers are hard to read. Wondering when Hyde changed his number to 20................I like SFs
Well now that you mention it my last orgasm really wasn't long enough.Agreed. Sick of people complaining about football. What's next? Complaining about sex?
Jacksonville says hithere have definitely have been much worse
The yellow is a bit much but I have no problem with the Niners.I actually love the color rush jerseys from these teams. Sue me
3 FGs in one quarterIt's because I'm enjoying my first beers of the season. Things happen when I drink beer.3 TDs in one quarter

Meh...I play FF, I want pts. I couldn't care less who wins and frankly when I saw who was playing I kinda expected a 13-6 finalI get your point and I'm not picking but my point is , yeah, there is scoring but scoring in itself doesn't make it a quality product. Greatest Show on Turf unis looked great. Those were the high water mark for Rams unis, IMO.Not my favorite either but the Rams look better than any of the awful Navy Blue and Gold uniforms they wore. That whole scheme was so boring. 49ers always look good.
After their last offensive play last weekend someone got in Goff's head about locking in to him and he took it wayyyy to literally.Giving me hope Kupp might see a target tonight
I was about post ..if Cupp could catch a pass that'd be swellGiving me hope Kupp might see a target tonight
That's kind of the 'problem" in a nutshell. If you are only in it for the fantasy, then anything that ends 38-32 is great (assuming your guy got the points, of course). But for many of us, we grew up as football fans, first and foremost and it is difficult for us to manage our level of hypocrisy. We want to see good football but "good football" is based on excellent play from offense AND defense AND ST. Kind of hard to have our cake and eat it too.Meh...I play FF, I want pts. I get it, and mostly agree. But it's thursday, don't care who wins, I would like to start the fantasy wkend with ptsThat's kind of the 'problem" in a nutshell. For me, personally, though, its the bad officiating, the non stop commercials, all that. I think i truly realized just how bad football was last year when the Cards and Hawks played that FG exchange game and it was 9-6 or something. That was an exciting game to watch IF you weren't reliant of fantasy football points. It was tactical and calculated and had great defensive plays, etc. To me, that game was better than most of these Pats 38, Steelrs 21 "games of the week".
I'm really impressed how much progress Goff has made from year 1 to year 2. I don't think I've ever seen a high first round QB look more ill-equipped to be an NFL starter. OK, Jamarcus Russell. Still, he's looked great all summer, really great to see. Can't tell you how nice it is after the last countless, torturous, excruciating years to see a Rams game where the offense actually looks like a competent NFL offense.
Ew.I thought that whole look was really boring. The bright yellow is much more LA as well.
I also like this look too.
He looks fantasticGurley now has as many total TD's (6) in 2.5 games as he had the entire 2016 season.

The McVay hire was very smart. I thought we'd have another year or two before the risk of losing him at such a young age became a real threat. I'm starting to wish we'd prioritized keeping our homegrown (through two different regimes and three promotions) X's and O's genius over sticking with Gruden. McVay also really impressed me in his brief stint on All or Nothing, and the behind the scenes videos I've seen of him doing his thing on the Rams. He's clearly not just an offensive mind...he's also extremely organized, a good delegator, and a leader of men. I'm very bitter that we let him go. Gruden is very likable but so meh, and we put so many years into grooming McVay. ####.Can't tell you how nice it is after the last countless, torturous, excruciating years to see a Rams game where the offense actually looks like a competent NFL offense.

So what's the biggest difference in Jared Goff?I'm really impressed how much progress Goff has made from year 1 to year 2. I don't think I've ever seen a high first round QB look more ill-equipped to be an NFL starter. OK, Jamarcus Russell. Still, he's looked great all summer, really great to see.
berida not the futureHyde has over 5 yards a carry and they're ####### around with these terrible backups on the redzone. Sad
And a quicker release, better OL, more weapons, and the look that the game has slowed down for him a little. So what's the biggest difference in Jared Goff?
Less stache on the sideline headset.
I actually quit fantasy 2 seasons ago and I enjoy it more without question. I don't have to watch the crap games and I don't live or die on every non-reported injury, etc, etc.And I felt the same way about the NCAA hoops tourney. I found I enjoyed it more once I quit filling out brackets and needing particular results. So, are you willing to step away from fantasy in order to appreciate good football more than just a bunch of RNGs in pads?
Goose Island IPA. Tecate later when I feel like slumming it.Half time booze check-in:

What're the rest of you sippin' on this fine Thursday eve?

Honestly, the thing I miss the most is the interaction with other people talking about something i know about. That's mainly why I keep up on the fantasy implications and still enjoy chatting here.
