I know the timeline and the fact that many Bothans died to bring the rebels that information, but it does not necessarily follow that he would make an appearance in the film. Not sure why not.. End of episode 3 Darth Vader is "born"... Beginning of episode 4 Darth Vader is feared throughout the Galaxy..
NOT having him be part of a movie that spans the space between those two episodes would have been more of a shock then having him in it..

Like Chaka, I didn't know, either, but that's also because I didn't give it much thought. Logically, it makes perfect sense for Vader to be in the movie per the timeline and premise. So on the spoiler scale, learning Vader is in the movie is a 1 out of 10.Not sure why not.. End of episode 3 Darth Vader is "born"... Beginning of episode 4 Darth Vader is feared throughout the Galaxy..

Bothans died for the second death Star. This was mostly humans.I know the timeline and the fact that many Bothans died to bring the rebels that information, but it does not necessarily follow that he would make an appearance in the film.
Like I said, it's not a big deal but it shouldn't be an assumption.
Did anyone post the finally confirmed info about the young Han Solo casting? The writers confirmed a couple of days ago who will star in the Han movie, which is set between 3 and 4. This actor was strongly rumored to get the part back in May but they finally made it official this week

I didn't know but as someone pointed out I should have if I thought about it and I'm sure I would have found out so its not a big deal for me - I just figured it's worth it in case somebody is trying to not find out.Anyone that's paying attention knows Vader is in the movie by now
Knowing full well that the term "Bothans" totally belongs in a Star Wars thread, I still initially read this as "Brohans".I know the timeline and the fact that many Bothans died to bring the rebels that information, but it does not necessarily follow that he would make an appearance in the film.

The problem, however, may lie in how little screen time he gets. James Earl Jones has reportedly recorded a few lines, but I've read to expect screen time not much more than Luke had in TFA.I didn't know but as someone pointed out I should have if I thought about it and I'm sure I would have found out so its not a big deal for me - I just figured it's worth it in case somebody is trying to not find out.
Did you decide this doesn't need a spoiler after all?The problem, however, may lie in how little screen time he gets. James Earl Jones has reportedly recorded a few lines, but I've read to expect screen time not much more than Luke had in TFA.
Anyway, new trailer to premier tomorrow night during primetime Olympic coverage.![]()
ftr: I don't even see spoiler, redacted or similar tags to utilize on this crap forum board. And lord knows I wont type them out.Did you decide this doesn't need a spoiler after all?
Uh the entire thread has openly talked about.Did you decide this doesn't need a spoiler after all?
Oh my bad! I had marked the forum as read accidentally and didn't realize I had missed all those posts.Uh the entire thread has openly talked about.
They have? Can someone explain to me the Thrawn angle of Star Wars without giving up too many spoilers. Thrawn is now the villain for the upcoming Star Wars Rebels and I am unsure of his timeline. I seem to recall in other Star wars threads that he may be the main bad guy in the upcoming series but the timeline as it stands now is that he is way before where we are at in the movies.
Also its going to be curious how they weave Ezra into the movies as a bad guy because its obviously the direction the cartoon is taking him and the producers of both say the new movies and the Rebels will merge at some point
Here is one article about it, talks about connecting into the film properties. I am positive I read somewhere that Rebels will merge/morph into the new movies. Will keep lookingThey have?
I don't know what you're looking for but that trailer was awesome.I hope I'm wrong but doesn't look good to me
It seems too realistic to be star wars if that makes any senseI don't know what you're looking for but that trailer was awesome.
It does if you're trying to say you're a big fan of the Prequel Trilogy. It seems too realistic to be star wars if that makes any sense
Gritty is exactly the word Lucasfilm wants used in relationship to this movie. The overall tone of it seems gritty and realistic like a WW2 movie, but the characters like Donnie Yen's and Forrest Whittaker's and the main bad guy all seem comic-like or even cartoonish. Will be interesting to see how well it blends together.
Interesting perspective, that's exactly what I'm looking for.It seems too realistic to be star wars if that makes any sense
I am as cynical as they come and I thought it looked great. (Truth be told the blind karate guy may be a bit over the top but I will give him a chance)I don't know what you're looking for but that trailer was awesome.
Yeah, but the Force allows a blind guy to kick ###.I am as cynical as they come and I thought it looked great. (Truth be told the blind karate guy may be a bit over the top but I will give him a chance)
Agree 1 billion percent. She's smokin hot. http://www.radass.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Felicity-Jones-24.gifMario Kart said:Felicity Jones is in this. This movie won't be bad. She's in this. Hottest female in any Star Wars movie to date. Yeah, I said it. It's worth seeing cause she's in it.
