KevT = s-m-r-ti agree with your assessment, Kev - I honestly don't have enough update on Warrick's health to know - listen to Kev as he is obviously very up on the latest team news. Now where is Shick! - he's a Seattle guy, too.

This is not good news for Hasselbeck owners as this would have been a great start with a healthy recieving corps. I drafted Hasselbeck to back up Culpepper and had been looking forward to the week 5 matchup against St Louis when CPepp was on bye. Yikes. Could be a healthy dose of Alexander this week.

I really think the only reason Joe J and Hackett have been running with the 1st team thus far is because they have been with the team the longest and know the offense. If Warrick had been with the team through training camp it is likely he would be starting.Hackett will likely not be a break out candidate for this week though. While he has been with the team longer than Warrick he was out most of last season with an injury and really hasn't gotten to play much at all in the NFL. I think you'll see him run incorrect routes, mis-read coverages, and generally not be on the same page as Hasselbeck. My gut feeling is that you'll see a lot of passes to JJ with Stevens being Hass' 2nd target. Hackett will line up opposite JJ with Warrick maintaining his inside slot position (where he can be used best). All that being said, I think offensively the Hawks will look to run Alexander a LOT against a pretty shotty run defense. This will keep their Defense off the field and the Rams Offense on the sidelines. If the Hawks can control the clock in this game they will beat the Rams.

Is there a link to both being out? I have seen both as doubtful, but nothing that says for sure that neither will play.
as a genrally accepted rule questionable means likely to play.doubtful means out.99.9% of the time, if a guy is doubtful, he in NOT playing..

count BOTH out this week, and put stevens WAY up...

Has Jurevicius ever been the #1 guy?If so how was he?I can only remember him being the 2nd or 3rd receiver.

Seahawks | Jackson Not Going to PlayThu, 6 Oct 2005 17:09:45 -0700Seattle Seahawks WR Darrell Jackson (knee), according to head coach Mike Holmgren, will not play during Week 5. Jackson once played after being listed as doubtful, but this time it appears different. The team has said upfront he needs time off to recover from the injury or it will bother him all season. Holmgren said he does not know how much time he will miss, but doesn't feel it will be very long. "This week he is not going to play," Holmgren noted.

Just pickup Warrick..Seattle will have to thrown the ball..At St.Louis and the Rams do have a nice Rushing DT..To me it will be a AIR WAR. :bye:
Joey J already has 2 TD's this season as the third WR. It's not like they're playing a good D... they're playing St Louis?!?!? How would a WR who's yet to play in a Seahawks real game situation going to get more targets than a WR whose been working with the QB since game 1? This will be a 60 minute shootout... if there was a week to start joey J this is it.Maybe... m-a-y-b-e in the slot Warrick gets more receptions but Joey J will get at least 1 TD.

With starting wide receivers Bobby Engram (ribs) and DarrellJackson (knee) both doubtful, the Seahawks might start JoeJurevicius and Peter Warrick at wideout. "It's really toughbecause both those guys are great players," quarter MattHasselbeck said. "Bobby and Darrell are the heart and soulof our passing game, they are our playmakers."Hasselbeck, who struggled on the road at Washington lastweek, is a risky start in Week 5 at St. Louis. It is a hugegame for both teams, but having your top two targets outcould prove to be a killer. We say use Hasselbeck only ifyour other QB options are lackluster.
Just CBS junk

Looks like Holmgren has pretty much declared DJax as OUT for this weekend:
