Me too. He shrugs that challenge off with disdain and still finishes well. The second one he hit so hard I'm still not sure exactly what happened.

I posted a bunch of information about Direct TV and Dish last week I think. Channel is actively testing on Direct TV and Dish. Rumored to be taking the place of Gol TV in the Direct TV lineup and Gol TV will reduce to a single channel using SAP. I have not read even one rumor about any cable coverage. It sounds like they are basically giving the channel away for free to Direct TV and Dish to get into their sports packs so they may be doing something similar with the cable companies. It does not sound like the smoothest run operation from what I have read but they should end up on at least a few different carriers this year.
I thought that Dish/Direct TV info was still uncomfirmed?

Too much money and talent to be relegated. I would be shocked if they're not still in the EPL in five years.

Piece in ESPN.com about Mexico's recent dominance over the US (0-3-1 last 4 games, even on home soil). An excerpt...

...Then there is the change in playing style that Klinsmann is attempting to implement, one influenced by Spain. In this instance, Klinsmann is encouraging a more possession-based approach as well as one in which the team presses higher up the field defensively. It's a style that might be less pragmatic in the short term but one he hopes will plant the seeds for long-term success."If you want to be in the top 10 in the world, then you have to adjust to this type of style," Klinsmann said. "There's no other way you can do it. You can't just sit back anymore and [counterattack], then hopefully win the game. You can't play that way anymore. You've got to play with the best ones, and if you saw what Honduras tried to do with Brazil [in the Olympics], they tried to play with them."And it requires a lot of hard work. We have to get physically at another level, we have to get pace-wise at another level, which we're working on, and here and there it actually works. And there are many other elements where we have to [improve]. But it's not happening overnight, obviously. I think here and there we are already seeing some results, and here and there we have a setback like Brazil in the June camp."

I guess he didn't watch Chelsea's CL run last year.

Would anyone be interested in a Euro Survivor game? Pick a winner each week from the big four leagues? Once you drop 3 points or more, you're out.
sure, why not... is there a web-site available that carry this type of competition?
also, by big four you mean, English, Italian, Spanish, German?
Yes.I think we're going to have to do this ourselves.
yeah, I just spent a whole minute searching, to no avail... easy enough to track on the forum though, or on another forum.

The channel is actively being tested on both Dish and Direct TV. That is confirmed. Everything else is educated/sources speculation.

I should also note that in the past their have been occurrences of channels being tested by Direct TV that took a long time before they appeared in their lineup so if I had to recommend I would wait until something official comes out.

I mentioned this before but will repeat just in case it matters. 99.999% of the CR's are going to have no idea what you are talking about when asking about something as ultra niche as BeIn Sports. They don't find out about channels being launched until they are actually on the air.It is still is highly probable they won't have it, but just wanted to caution you from ever trying to get decent information out of CR's about brand new channels.

Correct. Also sometimes refers to customer service reps.

Alright. I don't have any service right now, so I'm just waiting to see how I can get my Barcelona games anyways.

This doesn't require me to give a #### about Italian soccer does it? There's nothing that puts me to sleep on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon quite like a Serie A match.

Ok, with only a few hours to go, the first official announcement has come out for BeIn Sports. I can confirm that the station is active on Direct TV running a still screen with a count down clock. The rumors that it was taking Gol TV's spot at 620 were true.

===================================

On August 15th at 7.30pm EST, beIN SPORT, the new 24-hour network dedicated to live and exclusive coverage of the world’s best international sports, will air on DIRECTV, one of the world’s leading providers of digital television entertainment services.

beIN SPORT’s exclusive programming will include coverage of the top soccer leagues and tournaments from Europe and South America, including Spain’s La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, France’s Ligue Un, the South American World Cup Qualifiers and Copa America 2015, as well as many other world-class sporting events.

The English-language version of beIN SPORT will be offered in HD and SD as part of the DIRECTV Sports Pack. The network will also provide an entirely differentiated Spanish-language channel, beIN SPORT “En Español”, which will be available on DIRECTV Más™ in SD.

In addition to its linear TV network, select beIN SPORT content will be available online for DIRECTV customers.

I've had to give a #### about Serie A a few times last year, due to wagering opportunities. All I can say is that a) a winning bet is a winning bet, and b) the other three leagues seem even more awesome, relatively speaking.

FSC's coverage of Serie A is so terrible I've found it hard to watch. The commentator they use is just awful. Maybe things will change with the new network.

I really detest Time Warner. I guess a network like beIN was probably too much to ask considering they don't even carry the ####### NFL Network.

Here are the initial live games that BeIn Sports will be showing

8/15

07:55PM Ecuador v Chile

8/17

02:45PM Lille v Nancy

8/18

01:00PM Celta de Vigo v Malaga

03:00PM Sevilla v Getafe

05:00PM Mallorca v Espanyol

8/19

11:00AM Olympique Marseille v Sochaux

01:00PM Real Madrid v Valencia

03:00PM Barcelona v Real Sociedad

05:00PM Levante v Atletico Madrid
