Sunday was seriously one of the most hostile sports crowds I've been in before. They were going crazy.

Mourhino was right!

Your fans are ####e!

Every time Terry got close to the ball they were screaming every profanity imaginable at at him--in unison.

Cesc started taunting them after the goal and #### just came raining down on them.

The guy can play the game. He's just got a few screws loose. But to his credit he kept it together and didn't let the atmosphere get to him.

They really deserved that point.

Minnesota United released this info yesterday was on their web site. I hope this is true as it would be great to see a stadium built that did not get too much public money, although I am sure some tax breaks are going to be requested.

=====================================================================

Minnesota United is dedicated to bringing the best fan experience to soccer supporters in the Twin Cities. Today members of Minnesota United’s ownership group met with government officials to discuss the financing plan for a soccer-specific stadium at the Farmer’s Market site in downtown Minneapolis.

In the proposal, the ownership group has committed to privately finance the construction of an outdoor stadium - with natural grass - that is accessible to all people and communities. The Minnesota United Major League Soccer franchise will be the first professional team in Minnesota to construct their stadium without a direct public subsidy. Minnesota United will put a total private investment of $250 million forward to:

· Purchase the MLS expansion franchise (at a cost of $100 million dollars).

· Acquire necessary land for the new soccer facility in a centrally located and under-developed part of Minneapolis (approximately $30 million for land acquisition).

· Build a first-class MLS soccer facility through private funding (estimated at $120 million).

no S####horpe? wtf.

I'm sure Ibra is the biggest loss for PSG, but they still have a pretty strong attack. The Veratti suspension is huge for me just based on the few PSG games I've seen, especially without Luiz available to provide cover in the midfield. Veratti was a monster in both games against Chelsea, and also in the group stage games I saw, including one against Barca.

Fox Sports said Luiz was available off the bench.

I thought this is supposed to be a red under the current rules. Neuer got a yellow + pen. Bayern - Porto is very good.

Maybe a make up for not calling the foul by jackson on alonso?

Joking aside, that should be red for goal scoring opp?
or maybe the ref thought he was going away from goal?

either way, I continue to hate that last-man = red rule.
Is it the last man = red or the Pk/goal/Red trifecta you hate?

Hate it or not thats usually a red for someone.

And nothing like a headline saying Suarez nutmegs Luiz twice, scores on each occasion

both.

I got the idea of trying to eliminate the professional foul in goal-scoring opportunities... just still hate that the game has to essentially end when one of these plays happen.

Bayern very fortunate a red wasn't given.

All three goals by Porto were because of a defensive mistake
Yep, they've been lulled to sleep in the Bundesliga.

Thanks, I saw some of the highlights. Looks like the danger of playing a high line.
Agreed. Porto pressured high and took advantage of Bayern's slow ball movement.

Klopp seems like a really good coach. Not sure why Dortmund would let him go; it isn't his fault they let most of their stars go cheaply.

Why lunge at the ball like that? You miss, and you're lunging against one of the best attackers in the world, and Suarez is alone against the keeper.

And then he just kind of turns and faces his goal as Suarez finishes.

So. Many. Demerits.
