Mix is not a DP.Is Mix not a DP? Villa and Lampard I assume are... Pirlo would be as well. This has been circulating for weeks now. Both the Spanish and Italian media have said it is either done or close to done. But no word from anyone inside of MLS.Just saw a report on BR stating that according to AS, Pirlo is set to join NYCFC
Its on my app but I cant find it BR's online site.
ETA found this: http://mlsgb.com/2015/06/03/nycfcs-third-dp-on-the-way-andrea-pirlo-accepts-offer/
If he does go to NYCFC, that should allow him and Lampard to have a blast in the midfield and push Mix way up the field close to Villa who needs some help in the worst way.
Pirlo could play 3 years in MLS. He has not sprinted in about 17 years with no affect on his game play. The only issues will be how does his body hold up to travel and the turf both of which are not kind to any player, much less a 36 year old.
If it is a done deal, I wonder if they are just waiting for the UCL Final before announcing it...

Yep - he's lining up the puppet as we speak I fear.I can't shake the feeling that Blatter will find a way to stay on if no charges are filed against him.

The day after Sepp Blatter said he was resigning as FIFA president, he returned to work and received a standing ovation from his staff. Blatter isn't going anywhere for a while. He says he says he will spend the rest of his time as FIFA president focusing on reforming FIFA.
So now I'm really just curious... is S####horpe still filtered? I mean it never should have been, but whatever. Falcao transfer betting now suspended...Falcao now better than even odds to join Chelsea. Rumor is that the deal wont be a loan but a permanant transfer. Fee rumored to be 25M pounds. Chelsea need another striker with Costa often injured and Drogba retiring but the price seems steep for a 29 year old coming off a poor season. Feels like a luxury buy to be honest. That said, Mourinho loves him and I can see him playing both 1) alongside Costa as well as 2) instead of Costa in a lone target role. Do you guys think they can coexist?
I may be in the minority here but I think Chelsea will revert to a 4-4-2 next season with two established strikers. He was very succesful with that formation during his first stint at Chelsea (Drogba and Gudjohnson) as well as with Inter (Eto'o and Militio). Chelsea were quite predictable during the last three months of the season with so much of the attack started wide by Hazard. No way he keeps the same team and formation next season.
Also, Cuadrado was trending on Twitter last night as he is scheduled to leave Chelsea after just four months. Likely will return to Italy with Inter and Roma said to be frontrunners. Chelsea paid 23M pounds for him - will be interesting to see how much theyll be able to recoup.
The DOJ and the Attorney General aren't ####### around here. He's their target and the Attorney General is too high profile not to at least indict him sooner rather than later. The longer he stays on the quicker that will happen.Yep - he's lining up the puppet as we speak I fear.I can't shake the feeling that Blatter will find a way to stay on if no charges are filed against him.

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/sepp-blatter-fifa-resigns/He’d been widely loathed and tangled in scandal from literally the moment he rose to power in 1998, when he refused to address rumors that his Qatari backers paid $50,000 for votes on his behalf.
and this is why neither Blatter nor Valcke haven't been arrested yet.The seven arrested officials, including two FIFA vice presidents, one member-elect of the FIFA executive committee and one FIFA staffer, all face extradition to the United States in a process which could last months.
Once in the U.S. they will be questioned about involvement in alleged racketeering, money-laundering and wire fraud in a $150 million bribe scheme spanning more than two decades.
The seven in Zurich have until next Monday to appeal being detained by Swiss authorities.
Their best chance of being released on bail lies with their lawyers either finding flaws in how American and Swiss agencies processed and handled the arrests, or a lenient judge.
"Release on bail is possible, but it's very, very rare,'' said Folco Galli, spokesman for the Swiss Federal Office of Justice in Bern.
The next deadline in the Swiss extradition process is July 3. The U.S. must submit its formal extradition request by then and may be in no hurry to do so.
All seven detainees could be feeling a long way from their home countries in South and Central America and residences in the U.S.
All this from this article:The outgoing FIFA president will not be detained in his home country on behalf of American prosecutors.
As a Swiss national, Blatter cannot be extradited by Switzerland. Still, the 79-year-old Blatter becomes more exposed if traveling abroad where a warrant for his arrest and extradition could be sought by the U.S.
FIFA tournaments are being played this month in New Zealand and Canada. Under normal circumstances, FIFA protocol would require Blatter to attend the Under-20 World Cup final in Auckland on June 20 and the Women's World Cup final on July 5 in Vancouver.
FIFA said on Wednesday that Blatter does not have any confirmed travel plans in the next two weeks.
this is the one time FIFA actually wants to follow the "rules"It seems odd that it will take 7 months to find a successor to Blatter when they had an election like 4 days earlier. No one can think of a possible candidate?

but those hips don't lie....Does this mean she is available? If the South Africa bid is found to be corrupt, that means that Spain never won and Pique never found his Colombian goddess. Let's be careful going down this wormhole.
It was played in Spain, Portugal won #suckitMessiSo where are they going to move the 2010 World Cup to now?

They don't get Warner's kids to flip without Blazer admitting to the '98 and 2010 bribery. Warner's kids hold the keys (wires) to the 2011 election and 2018/22 bids with Warner's repeated connection to bin Hamman. Neither Warner nor bin Hamman were exactly criminal masterminds here. They both hugely sloppy and those that know just need some convincing (jail time) to clear their mind.I wish they would focus on the WC's that can be corrected, not the ones in the past.
Hopefully they are using the trail of breadcrumbs from previous WC bidding corruption to lead them forward into the current ones.

Wiki says he was this involved:How involved with the 1998 bid was Platini?
Here's hoping.
No small part of me wonders if Platini has kinda been in on it all along - basically serving to be as a collector of dissenters without really being a serious threat to Blatter. (i.e. Blatter and Platini in cahoots the whole time). Whereas they are brazen with the money movement I can see them being this deft with the politcal end of the business.

They won their bid in 1992. Why they had to bribe anyone, I haven't a clue since their only competition was Morrocco (though the vote was 12-7).He was the French national team coach for four years (98-92), and was the co-organizer of the 1998 World Cup in France.
Exactly - I mean who could possibly think that a smaller nation could knock out a large Nuclear power in a FIFA election. It'd be a waste of money to spend money to defeat those kind of locations as they could never possibly be awarded the World CupWiki says he was this involved:How involved with the 1998 bid was Platini?

Morocco submits a winning bid for 3 of those France votes and suddenly it's 10-9 Morocco.NewlyRetired said:I don't know how he was involved with the bid, but he was considered the Co Organizer of WC 1998 once France was chosen. How involved with the 1998 bid was Platini?
According to Wiki, they were up against only one other country in Morocco for the bid. Switzerland was in the running but had to pull out because they did not meet FIFA requirements (hello Qatar).
France won the vote 12-7
Outside of a few lifer bureaucrats I can't imagine that anyone involved with FIFA (and the individual federations) is not corrupt.I wish they would focus on the WC's that can be corrected, not the ones in the past.
Hopefully they are using the trail of breadcrumbs from previous WC bidding corruption to lead them forward into the current ones.
If you are going to root out all the wrongdoers in this you have to go all the way back to the roots. Letting officials that corrupted the process in '98 or '10 or whenever slide means an increased chance in this all happening again.

This is why I never fix anything in my house.this whole thing reminds me of small renovation jobs where the client comes to me with just wanting to do just this and that... we hire the contractor and once we start demo and/or probing, we realize the whole thing had been built with sky-hooks, magnets and silly putty and the whole house has to be razed.
The 2006 is a whole other can of worms. My guess is Blazer was on the gravy train twice with SASouth Korea and Japan were selected as hosts by FIFA on 31 May 1996. Initially, South Korea, Japan, and Mexico presented three rival bids. However, the two Asian countries agreed to unite their bids shortly before the decision was made, and they were chosen unanimously in preference to Mexico. This was the first (and so far the only) World Cup to be hosted by two countries.
Live and learn for 2010The success of Germany's bid was marred by a hoax bribery affair which even led to calls for a re-vote.[5] On the night before the vote, German satirical magazine Titanic sent letters to FIFA representatives, offering joke gifts like cuckoo clocks and Black Forest ham in exchange for their vote for Germany. Oceania delegate Charlie Dempsey, who had initially backed England, had then been instructed to support South Africa following England's elimination. He abstained, citing "intolerable pressure" on the eve of the vote.[6] Had Dempsey voted as originally instructed, the vote would have resulted with a 12–12 tie, and FIFA president Sepp Blatter, who favoured the South African bid,[7] would have had to cast the deciding vote.[8]
Blazer wasn't on the scene until '89 (the vote was in '88)I'm sure US 94' was totally clean.
