Didn't expect them to get schlonged like that.I think this is the 4th match day where the team above Arsenal lost and they had an opportunity to take first and went ahead and #### the bed. Classic Arsenal.
I certainly thought so live. Howard just stood there watching because he knew he was beat.did he mean it?That Shaq goal was purty.

Was watching that, but I actually switched over to Swansea/Palace on Extra Timeas the CP home crowd is a joy to watch.I love watching Breakaway on NBC sports.
A poacher would be nice addition. I love Chicharito but I think he is where he needs to be to excel. He gets space and time and is using it in Germany. Dont think he gets that much in the EPL. However, with the balls that constantly fall to Fellaini's feet and he misses, Chich could be leading the EPL in goals. I don't understand the fascination with the big tree in the lineup. Get him and Rooney out of there....Yeah, can't help but notice this every time a golden chance falls to the foot of Fellaini or Jesse Lingaard (who I still can't figure out what he actually does that makes him a Man U player)One thing I think Man U underestimated in their team building this year was the need for a poacher. Every offensive player they added was of the shiny, skilled variety but they are lacking a good old fashioned "I don't care how I look" goal scorer.Hard to imagine a team would struggle with Ashley Young and Daley Blind at Fullback and Fellaini as their attacking midfielder....
Memphis' pure awfulness has really been astounding to me. I get that he's young and the Dutch League's horrendous defenses were a big part of why he put up big stats, but he always looked really solid playing for the Dutch team. Kid looks absolutely lost out there.
This is of course magnified by the fact that Hernandez simply won't stop scoring in Germany where he has a fantastic 19 goals in 22 appearances this year.
Game has been pretty mehRooneys been garbage all season, playing excellent today, best one out there imo.
Good call - I'm barely staying awake. The storyline/rumor I'm loving is SAF coming out of retirement to work with Giggs for the rest of the year.Lots of interesting storylines for what will likely be a boring game at OT today.
And he misses a great chance to be a hero...Rooneys been garbage all season, playing excellent today, best one out there imo.
is a major plus.as i write this Memphis dribbles out of bounds and rooney goes studs up and is bookedAnd he misses a great chance to be a hero...Rooneys been garbage all season, playing excellent today, best one out there imo.
ETA, I never understand LVG's subbing decisions. Memphis for Mata? cmon. On the bright side nois a major plus.
9 chances created by Ozil today is the most in the premier league this year.

He played well, nothing glaring one way or the other. Couple of nice runs. The only thing that comes right into my head is one cross he made that went about 100mph over Giroud and Walcott's head.Tom Hagen said:I couldn't watch the Arsenal game. How did Chambers look with a full game in midfield? I'm still not sure what Arsene's plan is for him.

Should be interesting. Spurs, United and Liverpool have Europa games - but I think United will not focus on those. Spurs drew Leicester in FA Cup - the loser may have the advantage in the league race (and in an odd scheduling quirk, Spurs host Leicester on the 10th in the FA Cup, and on the 13th for a league match).Arsenal 95.4%M City 95.4%Spurs 65.3%L City 45.5%United 40.1%Pool 36.4%Chelsea 7.7%Palace 5.9%Everton 2.9%Stoke 2.4%Soton 1.5%WHU 1.5%Spurs, Leicester, United and Liverpool more or less fighting over two spots.update?

Leicester has a multi-billionaire owner with big aspirations. I think its much more likely they'll be buying next month. The main difficulty is that they will have to pay their stars if there are big offers on the table. Mahrez for example has only been in Leicester one year. There should be no expectation of loyalty in either direction. If a club is offering €20m for him, that comes with a certain wage expectation that LC will have to meet, and that type of wage hike for one player can throw things off-kilter if they're not careful.Man I know we're all waiting for Leicester to come back to reality, but they look good right now against City. How long til the big boys poach Mahrez and Vardy?

Really good article on Pochettino
This may only be for Spurs fans, but as a general football fan, it provides a really good look at how Pochettino has transformed Spurs' mentality in the 18-months he has been there. He is not the right manager for every team, but Spurs caught the perfect storm, as he was the perfect choice for them, at this point in time.
So is Neymar (from the same game)This Barca goal is just dirty.
Swear to god.
