Carlos Vela skips training, telling his club he had gastroenteritis.

Vela then attends Chris Brown concert where he is seen by fans and pictures posted.

Real Sociedad have opened a disciplinary case against Vela after seeing the pics

In this day and age, how can anyone even semi famous think they could get away with anything like this and not be found out?

Neat, Chelsea is starting a youth winger at LB today.  I happen to be a big fan of the kid, and I am sure he'll do fine going forward, but I wonder how well he will be able to defend Di Maria in is own end.

Chelsea grinding. Great build up for the Costa goal to tie it up. 3-2 on aggregate to PSG.

Really fun game to watch. Very open. Atmosphere is great.

PSG very sloppy with the ball. They will let up another goal soon if they dont shore up their possession. Look for Blanc to make changes at halftime.

Theyre an interesting squad - ridiculously talented but not very disciplined.

have you been watching them the rest of this season? I haven't.

they're like 400 points ahead of anybody else in Ligue Un.

Missing Verratti imo

Me neither.

Chelsea pressing high in the first half with great success. Agree with Gator that the loss of Verrati may be hurting them.

I've seen a few games and the fact they're rarely challenged domestically has to be a factor.  They really need to shift into another gear at this level and I'm not sure they have it.

They've only gotten 1 point from their last 2 league games which is a massive slump in form by PSG standards.

So, I stay out of this thread because I'm a noob and don't won't to muck it up.

But I've got to go with @roadkill1292 about a Super League. It would be crap, I believe.

The only reason I really started watching soccer is because of the Champions League and ICC (which, @NewlyRetired strongly dislikes, NTTAWWT).

Gotta say though, today's match is outstanding and I would be really disappointed to lose the allure of big time clubs only playing each other in the Champions League format. I had the good fortune of seeing CFC v PSG in Charlotte last summer and tell anybody that will listen how great European "Football" is and will continue to be.

So, Super League, suck it...

I could be misunderstanding... but wouldn't a super league give you what you're looking for?

I'm not wathcing the game, but the Jaysus highlight of Chelseas goal- MFs seemed a touch lax about getting right back to defend after losing the ball. could be the lack of competition in league doesn't push them to have to do those little things... asyou're kind of saying.

you must be thinking of someone else.  I love Champions League and will watch the ICC more than most fans who pretty much ignore it.

If you are saying I prefer real league games over summer vacation friendlies, that would be true.
