Would Vardy be a consideration?  He's already 29 so I can't see him drawing huge interest for any elite level clubs.  Might be a good fit?

Considering Lallana has 8 goals and 9 assists for Liverpool thru 42 games in the Prem, I'd sign on today for 12 and 12 in a season.  And three attacking mids (Coutinho, Firmino) all putting up those numbers would be tough to defend if there was a goal scorer in front of them.

Who's out there that might be gettable in the mold of Sturridge?  A true scorer, but one that's quick, happy with the ball at his feet, and able to link up with the guys behind him?  Gettable for Liverpool I mean.
Embolo

Sturridge, 26

Origi, 21

Embolo, 19

Origi has looked interesting lately, but if they pull this together next year they've got to have a proven guy.  Obviously best of all possible worlds is Sturridge stays healthy, but definitely can't count on that and you'd need someone else anyhow.

Huge CONMEBOL qualifier tomorrow night: La Albiceleste vs La Verde!  Sebowski, green or blue?   The mighty, valiant Bolivians, or the haughty, primadonna Argies?  I know you'll be pulling for your boy, that little angel DiMaria, to compensate for Merda Messi's missteps & lack of a right foot...#conflictedsebo#
Red, White, and Blue>Verde>Albicelste.

The Belgium quote is correct, Fellaini is played out of position at United.  he should be playing left OUT

:lmao: :fro: :pickle:

Ok all joking aside, The Belgium coach is doing the right thing backing his man.  But if he has actually watched the last 3 seasons he would know he is wrong.  He has not fit into the style of play that LVG wants, or United fans have come to expect, no matter where he plays.  He does not have the touch, vision, speed or skill to play the 6.  He doesn't have the charm or style to overcome his need to elbow everyone like Costa does, or the star for Guatamala.

anyone else walking around with a perma boner for this weekends classico. This should be a high scoring affair between BBC and MNS

Barça is so far ahead that this one doesn't have the same gravitas I'm used to. I'm sure I'll start to get fired up tomorrow night.

this is the one problem with being on the west coast as I'll probably have to wake up by 7 so that I can watch the Chelsea game off my dvr before heading to the pub for the Liverpool spurs game. By the time Ray comes on the air I'll be #### faced enough to understand every word he is saying.

I really need to drink beers with you during a game

Wait, wait ...just to be clear..when we're speaking of the Classico, copious amounts of alcohol consumption, & raging boners, we ARE talking about Roma-Lazio, "Derby della Capitale", right?  RIGHT?!?!

I'd have to talked out of not being gay for Totti, if that helps
