Neymar has been ruled out of the Copa this summer by Barca.

Brazil is prioritizing the Olympics and Barca is allowed Neymar to play for Brazil during the Olympics.

El Clasico Checklist:

Ronaldo Goal ✔️
Ramos Red Card ✔️
Controversial Referee ✔
Spectacular Diving ✔️
Disallowed Goal ✔️
Pepe An Idiot ✔️

That was amazing how Real was running free down the flanks late in the game, even after they went down a man.

Bad call to disallow Bale's goal.

Personal highlight for me thanks to this thread was knowing there's no offside on a goal kick (first half Suarez/Neymar breakaway).

Great Classico.

That Liverpool Spurs game was just all kinds of pulsating awesomeness.

Both teams going all out,  aside from a sloppy touch/pass here or there from the high pace of the game, every player seemed at the top of their game.  Tons of individual and collective battles, chances,  really good goals and both teams just going all out at a very high level. Plus the ref did a great job letting them play and not getting in the way. Amazing game.

Now... C'MON LEICESTER!

Oh,  that Payet free kick yesterday...

This Rome Derby is surreal; No Totti, no DeRossi, and no Curva Sud (the goodguys), & no Curva Nord ( the stabby, racist, fascists) due to protests over city-imposed barriers in each Curva this season...what was once one of the most electric, passionate derby in world football, has been reduced to a staid, prosaic, English derby....(J/K...or am I?)  Forza Roma; Lazio es cullo Di Italia, & Europa!   "Non c'e trippa per la gatta!"

Saints v Leicester really compelling. Saints match up really well against them and look the better team in spite of the score. Both set up to attack directly,  hard working,  Mane vs Kante has been fun to watch.

7 up with 6 to go... one of the best sports stories of all time.  3W-1D-2L and they still get home unless Spurs win out.

That stretch from the 87th to the 93rd where Leicester held the ball along the far sideline was some really sweet time killing.  Don't think Soton had the ball for more than a pass or two in that entire span.

Its funny that Spain, Germany and Italy are all closer at the top than the PL right now, but most have declared those title races decided some time ago.

Wait, are you suggesting English derbies have the style or diction of prose; lacking poetic beauty?

FLORENZI!!!...you guys gotta appreciate that Roma have 3 born & bred Roman players on their squad, & since Totti & DeRossi were on the bench, that left Alessandro Florenzi as the only starting Roman, who was subsequently handed the captain's armband, and rifles the match-ender into the net!  Rome is a crazy, passionate football city, & for him to end the game...in the derby...guys, I cant explain, BUT IT IS ####### AWESOME!  NO SERIE B, NO SERIE B!!!

No, Cletus,  I am the one  lacking those qualities....speaking of Rome, I shall leave this here...MAXIMUS!....MAXIMUS!...MAXIMUS!...(forgive my childish exuberance...BUT #### LAZIO! :)

The Leicester magic number is 12 points now.

The 12 points is a combination of any points they gain combined with any points Spurs lose over the remaining 6 games..

I've been years ago and will be going to at least one match in about a month, depending on if they make the semis.  Curious what manner you used to get the CL tickets actually as I hear.
I got them secondhand off Viagogo. Which I guess is not entirely legal (they don't put the exact seats in the listing because the club will cancel the tickets if they find out you're reselling them) but I'll see how it goes. Thanks for the rest of the info.

What's really crazy to me- almost all the Leicester games I've watched, they're in desperate, back against the wall defending mode for 90 minutes. ceding most of the field, giving up better than average shots against which multiple guys are throwing themselves in the way. it's absolutely crazy that it's worked this well for this long... and I love them for it. add in the way they counter- just lights out.

most nfl, nba, nhl, mlb guys aren't going to get just how huge and crazy this will/would be if they can win the league- but I hope they do. for me, I have the invincibles, the nutso Manchester city/united season going to the last seconds, and then this... all seasons I'll remember- but this one is just historically incredible, even if some of the drama isn't there yet.

"EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!  EVERYTHING IS COOL IF YOU WORK AS A TEAM!  EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!......lala-lala-lalalalalalah!

It was a fun Clásico, that's for sure.  Barça fewer points up over Atlético than Leicester over Spurs.  I don't see Barça dropping many more points, and I don't see Atleti winning out either.  Nonetheless, getting something over those #######s would be a great this season.

Looks like Godín is back for Tuesday.  Oh, and Alex, please wear some red and white to the game.  Or an Indian Native American headdress.

Interesting article from BBC Sport re: Leicester's defense: Why Leicester are so hard to beat

Leicester has had unbelievable injury luck too.  They've basically played the same 11 all year, to a large degree.

No Europe, no injuries, two players playing out of their minds, strong defense..

Good recipe for winning and tough to repeat.

Arsenal may be the team to worry about if you're Leicester. Palace, Brom, Sunderland, Villa and Norwich left on the schedule. Away to Citeh and West Ham are the only tough ones left.

May be tough to expect more than 8 from Leicester's remaining games.

@Sund - 3, H West Ham - 1, H Swansea - 3, @ManUtd - 0, H Everton - 1, @Chelski - 0 = 8 for 77 points

No one has had to worry about Arsenal for a very long time, chap.

If Leicester only get 8 more points, then Arsenal would need 19 of 21 to tie.

Not that they'd do it but United and Chelsea don't want Arsenal winning it and could play weakened sides.  United still playing for 4th but Chelsea isn't FOCUSING ON THE LEAGUE.
