I'm not sure if I agree that Leicester's expected point total against ManU or Chelsea is "0."
The key to the team for me is Kante. That dude is just everywhere all the time.Interesting article from BBC Sport re: Leicester's defense: Why Leicester are so hard to beat
)F you.It seems perfectly Spurs-like to finally finish above all of United, City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, yet still not win the league.
loved that article... always enjoy seeing what players have to think/say about this stuff and they found a fantastically thoughtful source for information in Deeney.Interesting article from BBC Sport re: Leicester's defense: Why Leicester are so hard to beat
interesting that the last two are the only ones in that last (maybe Martial can get there) that aren't what you'd call "all-timers".United first team to score 1000 goals at home in the EPL. Notable goals:
1 Irwin
100 Cantona
200 Scholes
300 Cole
400 Ole Gunnar
500 Giggs
600 Ole Gunnar
700 Ronaldo
800 Rooney
900 Kagawa
1000 Martial
Thanks, Moyesinteresting that the last two are the only ones in that last (maybe Martial can get there) that aren't what you'd call "all-timers".
love what Kante has done this year- but he definitely needs a drinkwater for when he's parched. The key to the team for me is Kante. That dude is just everywhere all the time.
More than anything though, is they're just so disciplined. Whether it's staying home, not getting cards, knowing their roles. It all goes together. And unlike Floppo, besides for the breakaway Southampton flubbed, I never thought they were truly under pressure. Kante had Kone's number and Pelle couldn't do anything with Morgan/Huth. Southampton was also on their best run of form all year.
The best part of the team though is that they play an exciting style of soccer for a 4-year old to watch even though he is a Chelsea fan (damn Willian)
I noticed that too. Martial looks the part if Jose doesn't come in and give him the lukaku treatment. Kagawa probably wasnt going to be one, but he, like the rest of the team, got Moyes'd and never was given a chance.interesting that the last two are the only ones in that last (maybe Martial can get there) that aren't what you'd call "all-timers".
so annoying...this may have actually been entertainingAnd now Torres is off with his second yellow. Like a performance art piece mimicking his career arc.
How many with a red card for over half the game?3 games against Barça this year, three identical scorelines. Atleti score first, then give up 2 goals.
They were fortunate to get two.Always a grind against Atletico. Not happy with giving up an away goal - don't know what Pique was doing rushing out and abandoning Torres. Would have liked a third given the amount of pressure Barcelona applied, but I'll take the win and hope for a good result next week.
Do you have a clip? My feed was frozen on that goal.Sure looked like Luis had a kickout at Juanfran before scoring his brace ...
Wasn't on the goal. Just a clip uploaded to twitter.Do you have a clip? My feed was frozen on that goal.
Terrible from Pique there. As soon as he stepped up I started cursing the goalRamsay Hunt Experience said:I've now watched Nando's goal 5 times and I still don't know what possessed Pique to step up there. Just bewildering defending.
Zlatan did not miss. He intended to hit Hart's hand.
That goes without saying.Zlatan did not miss. He intended to hit Hart's hand.

This is arguably the best part of the NYCFC in-game experience...the Pirlo baby-cam featuring babies (or other young children or attractive females) inserted into a Pirlo haircut/beard.insert: Pirlo sly grin image
And Fernando gives it right back. Oof.De Bruyne gives City De lead.
That gif doesn't really show what happened. Ball was played out by Woz and Fernando had no idea Zlatan was lurking. I think he turned, saw him and got scared (understandable) and tried to boot it away, kicking it right into Zlatan who then redirected it into goal. Woz just as much to blame, IMO.
