A little too much celebrating perhaps?

Notable how much less Ronaldo/Bale covered back when compared to Saturday.  The Benzama injury changed all that.  Certainly well within their talent to turn this around in Madrid though

Will Taylor Twellman be announcing?  Seems he will even ask the player to pronounce it then proceed to tell the viewing audience that he doesnt care and will pronounce it however he wants.  

"April 26, 1992, there was PJANIC in the streets, tell me where were you...."

Goal aside, Origi was fantastic tonight.  Held the ball up 1 v 2/3 many times and almost impossible to move off the ball.  Maybe they're onto something with him.

It's hard to explain but Sakho and Lovren just seem to be where they're needed more often when they play together.  I lost track of how many passes they broke up.

I think Coutinho went 30 minutes without a touch after Liverpool's flurry immediately following Dortmund's goal.

Maybe it's just another false dawn, but the team really seems to understand what they're supposed to do and there's a solidity to them one through eleven that's been missing for awhile.  Looking forward to seeing what happens next year already.

Also, I take it all back re: the UEFA League.  Matches like this one, and the return leg next week, are worth the time.

But the lack of concentration....

And I agree, they are finally playing greater than the sum of their parts.  And the sum of their parts isn't bad to begin with.

He looks so powerful on his runs and it's not a plodding power, he has plenty of speed. Where Sturridge is quick/fast but can be bullied. 

I'd like to see them both on top at some point.

 
Liverpool/Dortmund is a coin flip to advance now per oddsmakers.  Surprised it's a 50/50 thing -- gives some idea how much better Dortmund have been.

 
Gator: "I'd like to see them both on top"...Oh..., I bet you would, I bet you would....though I must say I'm a bit surprised that you see "plodding power" as a drawback, as opposed to the "quick & fast"....YNAFA...
